Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 45th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 44th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 58th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Awwwwwww! Baby poop is the cutest kind of poop!

honeysucklejasmine · 23/02/2016 03:29

Baby went down to special care for antibiotics. Came back grizzly and then threw up all over herself and me. Hour later I had her calm and in the cot, but as soon as I opened toilet door she started wailing again. So now am cuddled up on the chair with her sleeping on my chest. I need the loo but she's so cute. Will try for stealth transfer again in a bit.

Have text DH and told him to come as early as possible tomorrow so I can get some sleep!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 23/02/2016 05:27

Poor little mite and poor you! Don't worry honey you will be ok and you'll both sleep soon.

CountryGal4 · 23/02/2016 05:48

I threw in the towel 20 kind ago and got up. Been awake since 3. I'm feeling really anxietious about my last day today

ThursdayLastWeek · 23/02/2016 08:01

You're doing great honey Smile

DS first night I think he'd imbibed some of the drugs I had during labour and didn't make a peep. Second night I was lucky and had a nurse in with most of the time and she held DS whenever he needed settling. I was still attached to the bed with the DVT cuffs and catheter - that woman was my angel.

Oh dear Country why so anxious?

CountryGal4 · 23/02/2016 08:20

Last day at work.... Finding it difficult to let go of my accounts

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 23/02/2016 08:53

Country do you have checking in days? Can you stay in touch? I know it must be really difficult to let go!

Hope you both got some rest honey!

ThursdayLastWeek · 23/02/2016 09:00

Oh I'm sorry - I'm afraid I was the opposite, so excited to leave work I couldn't give a shit about what happened while I wasn't there. Do you have competent cover?

Beautiful day down here today. DS & I have to go to the dentist, but then he's off to hang out with my parents for the afternoon Woop Woop.

Couldn't sleep last night for aaaaaages - I kept having visions of my waters breaking on our newish mattress and massive thumps of adrenaline in my chest. Weird.

5hell · 23/02/2016 09:01

thanks so much for sharing your birth story honey ...sounds intense but you handled it like a super star. sorry about your hip pain though - odd!
hope you are 'released' soon so you can relax at home.

thanks for the tips tea ...think i'll be popping to asda/matalan tonight to see if i can get some bits for my bag too.

hope you get spoilt by your colleagues country ...lots of cakes, goodies and hugs

FeatheredTail · 23/02/2016 10:08

Hugs from colleagues 5hell? That would bring on early labour for me Wink.

Country I have the same 'letting go' fears with my projects, but it's mingled with joy at being officially not allowed to give a shit about work once I do finish.

Honey you're sounding very brave and nonchalant about your sore fanj. Hope it's no more painful that you imagined. Did you manage to get any sleep at all? What's the ward like?

Sounding like Sky may be attempting some queue jumping......

Thursday invest in a waterproof mattress protector. Yeah, it will crinkle, but at least you know that lovely new mattress won't be soaked in amniotic fluid Smile. Enjoy your toddler free afternoon.

We had our first NCT session last night. It was good! The leader is a bit weird, but the other couples all seemed nice/people I think I could be friends with. Also got two free M&S babygrows - so littlefeather now has some clothes to wear! Hoorah!

SecondCupOfTea · 23/02/2016 11:39

Breaking News....I've packed the baby's hospital bag (except for muslins, which get delivered today and will need washing). I've adhered to my usual packing-to-go-on-holiday style, and put probably far too much in.

Have mine to do...but can't be arsed. I'm also wearing one set of PJ's that I bought for hospital cos they are so bloody comfy! Maybe this afternoon...

fruitlovingmonkey · 23/02/2016 12:36

Congratulations Honey, sounds like getting some help was a good call, you wouldn't want to be left with a hip problem.
Love the idea of the nurse to help you through the night Thurs, it fits well with my lovely old fashioned ideas about what having a baby is like might be in for a rude awakening.
Glad you have a nice group Feathered.
Eek Sky sounds like it could be starting!
Well done Tea, better to have too much than not enough. My little scare on Sunday has got me thinking about my hospital bag. I guess if Fruitman makes an early appearance he won't need much stuff for a while but I will! Going to get some things ordered today.
Also got to do a big order of the crib and bedding. I guess I need sheets and a mattress protector for the pram carrycot too? We put the pram together last night, it looks freaking massive inside the house.

lildottie · 23/02/2016 13:05

Hi viroids. Celebrating hitting the magic 24weeks today!

ThursdayLastWeek · 23/02/2016 13:39

TBH fruit I think it's better not to need a nurse in with you - it was rather a measure of how poorly I was. When she had to go and help with a emcs I had a not-so-helpful healthcare person whose smelly breath I remember through my drug filled haze Blush

Anyways. That quite simply NOT going to happen this time. I shan't allow it.

Just saw on the news about a little baby chimp born by emcs at Bristol zoo!

CarrotPuff · 23/02/2016 16:48

Lets hope minisky stays put for a bit longer.

Country enjoy your last day. And remember, maternity leave is infinitely better Grin

Well done on bag Tea. I only have one for both of us, packed some snacks yesterday. Still need to get myself slippers though.

Congrats on 24 weeks lil!

I had a 3h nap today. Which means I haven't done anything productive but who cares! Arse rain is ramping up too Sad

Oh and DP is paranoid with me going into labour. Keeps calling and asking. He was far more chilled out with DS, what's all that about now? Ok, second labours are faster, but it's not like I'm going to sneeze the baby out in 5 minutes...

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 23/02/2016 18:51

Still pregnant!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 23/02/2016 19:06

Had a lovely day out with a fabulous friend in town from New York. Did lots of waddling through the discomfort and feeling really at prace for the first time in weeks. Very excited to meet baby soonish... blood sugars still under control so hopeful that consultant won't push to induce and pretty confident I will deliver naturally before then.

Happy 24 weeks lil. You must be so pleased. You'll be meeting your baby in less time than you've been pregnant now.

carrot napping IS productive! I am a big believer in naps... Star for you!

FeatheredTail · 23/02/2016 19:08

Yay! BFP on the undergrads thread - Ill got some corking lines!

KateBeckett · 23/02/2016 21:50

I have nothing interesting to say... Just didn't want to fall off the thread!

honey hope your Fanjo is ok!!

Yay for 24 weeks lil !

And yay bfp!! We need more grads!!

5hell · 23/02/2016 22:20

Star for 24w lil ...every milestone must be extra special for you

Star for you too sky ...sounds like u had a lovely day and we'll done on the sugars!

Sorry about the arse rain carrot but hopefully it is indeed a sign!

Just home from yoga...lots I could do tonight which was nice :) managed a bit of 'bag' shopping beforehand too (pj's, pants, nightie, vests, oh and some cute baby clothes from tkmaxx) so feeling quite pleased with myself ;)

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 23/02/2016 23:17

5hell we are TKMaxx addicts! Love good quality stuff and a good bargain...

lildottie · 23/02/2016 23:31

sky that comment made me go Shock because you are so right! Lol. Glad u had a nice day and sugars under control.

5hell it just baffles me that I'm still here on a daily basis. I think this one is a biggy because I feel that it really will happen now. The idea that even if there were a problem is be offered some chance to have my family is mind blowing. It feels so delicate and unreal until now.

Agreed that naps are productive! Keep it up carrot

Yay for a bfp on undergrads. We really do need a few more bfps or it will be pretty quiet on here pretty soon!

Just in from a mwal out with friends who are due 6 days after us. Was lovely to spend the night chatting about our hopes and plans for our babies. Shits getting real!

CountryGal4 · 24/02/2016 07:29

So after yesterday's poor sleep upset stomach I feel amazing today. Guess it was last day nerves. My cover is lovely and very good so it was just literally leaving I was worried about. I'm actually very relieved to be on mat leave now. Obv just have a wobble yesterday. As always thanks for your support gals

lildottie · 24/02/2016 08:24

Glad you're feeling better country and yay for mat leave! Enjoy!

ThursdayLastWeek · 24/02/2016 08:26

Glad you're feeling better country Smile
Aaaaaaand relax, you're on maternity leave! One week to go is it? Exciting!

carrot? sky? Any popping overnight? I'm still very definitely pregnant, though ifeel like things are gearing up more than they ever did with DS.

Quiet day after playgroup today, bit of housework and cooking.

Very exciting to hear about Ills BFP Smile I hope she feels able to come and say hello here before I pop off!
