Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 45th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

So I just ordered the cot! I feel like im dreaming!

I've been having quite a few Braxton Hicks contractions today. Previously, I'd only had two (that I'd noticed), both a fortnight ago, and I couldn't feel anything internally, but my bump was solid when I touched it.

Today, I actually felt it tense up (very odd sensation), and it happened probably 8-10 times in total over a period of 5 hours or so. It's gone away now, replaced instead with a foot under my ribs!

Ooooh exciting Tea. Do you think you've over done it at all today? Or could this be IT???

I've never had very noticeable BH - with DS I thought he was moving a lot, but when I was monitored at 41 weeks that machine showed they were actually contractions of sorts.

Chinese for me for tea tonight too. Hope you get some rest Honey, did you get examined at all at the hospital last night?

Did you give up on refurbing the old crib lil? Or is this a cot for when babe is a bit older?

I would suspect that they would still prefer to induce you Honey because of the infection risk - or at least keep you in to be monitored. Just speculating though.

Yes that's my thoughts too Thursday. I am considered "high risk" so I wonder if they would just pop me on a drip to speed things along.

thursday it is time to break out the grape juice in a wine glass I raise a sugarfree toast in your honour. We have all been there. I once cried for 4 hours straight over something awful DD said during a meltdown at age 3. Kids are wonderful when they aren't being impossible

honey I've got a fiver saying that yhe contractions start when you try to sleep too... eeeeeeeeep! So excited for you, another very lucky baby who is so loved already and will have a bunch of cousins to grow up with! Lovely.

I am now at the phase of my pregnancy where ACTUAL STRANGERS are demanding to know my due date. As in walking up to me to ask. I am so glad I never properly pursued acting now... I would make a terrible celebrity. Yesterday I pretended to not speak English in the ladies room queue at Liberty. The day before I ran away from a lady who accosted me in the Sainsburys. She even chased me! Apparently, I can waddle pretty wuickly when I need to escape the elderly

I've also begun getting stuck. I can bo longer balance against a wall in a sitting position and get back up without assistance. DP had to help lift me out of the bath tonight as I was slippery and wibblywobbly and may have gotten stuck when I tried to turn sideways

I was going to have a beer, but couldn't fit it in my tummy.
So I've let my Chinese go down a bit and having a very small rum and Coke, it mostly just smells a bit of booze which is giving me the placebo effect
