Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 45th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 44th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 58th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Still here, still pregnant. Sad DH said as he left "any plans for today?" Well, no. Go in to labour ideally, but can't really control that.

I am getting paranoid now. Previous worries about stillbirth etc are still haunting me. I am analysing every movement - was it an actual movement or just ... I can't even type it. Argh. Not seeing midwife until 40+1 (39+2 today) so need to get it under control. But if I distract myself from it, then I panic that I wasn't paying attention and what if it hasn't moved and I didn't realise because I was selfishly doing X,Y and Z.

People with anxiety... Coping strategies? Please advise me!

CountryGal4 · 19/02/2016 09:12

Breathe honey. Mw at antenatal reckoned your more likely to go into labour when relaxed . Something about stress inhibiting oxytocin. Is there something you can do to busy your mind ?

Sorry if that wasn't helpful ?!

TriJo · 19/02/2016 09:32

I think I've just been sneaky-decaf'd by one of the baristas in the work canteen. Do people not realise that software developers are efficient machines for turning caffeine into code? Hmm

ThursdayLastWeek · 19/02/2016 09:35

Honey it's hard. Still births are rare, but at the same time get yourself checked out of you are AT ALL worried.

honeysucklejasmine · 19/02/2016 10:40

Thanks ladies. I am going to go shoe shopping I think. I need boots for all those walks I will be going on with baby. Can feel baby having a wiggle. Need to focus on that.

ThursdayLastWeek · 19/02/2016 11:40

Just had my penultimate preggo Pilates. Baby really likes when we do the pelvic floor section - wriggles like a bugger. All my clothes are so tight now I expect our instructor could see its ass sticking out from under my ribs!

5hell · 19/02/2016 14:18

the cheek tri !! Shock (i have given up caffeine for lent, so feel your pain)

god the spinning babies website is shocking!...you'd think for something that gets recommended so much it'd be a bit more organised & coherent!

honey you must try to remember that stress is your enemy. If you want to get things moving you need to focus on getting that oxytocin flowing. I found writing to my baby yesterday hugely therapeutic. You can also spend time reading to your bump, singing to it, pottering around the house, plus lots of cuddles, sex and anything else that gets your pulse going and your cheeks glowing. You can stop what your doing every gour and do a count the kicks? Sending you a big bunch of Flowers and I am so excited to cheer you on once things get moving.

Am off out into town today. Going to take one of my assistants to a fashion show. Grin

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 19/02/2016 14:21

Oooh oooh I forgot. You can practice trying to express. Twiddling the nipples is meant to bring on contractions! Grin Good luck.

honeysucklejasmine · 19/02/2016 15:06

We had a shag last night if that counts. Can't really do count the kicks per se, as baby has mobile periods then lies still for
ages so if I pick the wrong time I'll freak out.

I have cheered myself up with a fuck tonne of chocolate, jelly sweets and trashy magazines.

Could not find shoes. Unimpressed.

Might go and turn temp up on hot tub and go in tonight.

honeysucklejasmine · 19/02/2016 15:07

Baby obviously likes Jelly sweets too. Wiggle wiggle wiggle. Smile

KateBeckett · 19/02/2016 15:55

Awww sweet tooth baby honey Smile id say try and chill, but I doubt I'll be able to when I get to that point so... Everyone else has good advice tho!

SecondCupOfTea · 19/02/2016 16:16

Honey if it helps, I've found out this afternoon that eating an entire 'family share bag' of Malteezers to myself makes the baby wriggle quite a bit Blush

Am currently making 24 portions of leek and potato soup for freezing as a sort of guilty payback to healthier food.

CountryGal4 · 19/02/2016 16:30

Washed a fuck tonne of baby clothes today which made me feel cheerful!

5hell · 19/02/2016 16:37

oooh me like country!
i think i will enjoy that, but have nowhere to put said clean clothes yet Hmm

CountryGal4 · 19/02/2016 16:47

Psshhh who says there's anywhere for the clothes I've waged to go once dry ?!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 19/02/2016 17:03

I made it out! I went to an event and for tea and had conversations about regular stuff... omigosh it felt so good! Here's to feeling somewhat normal! Grin

Mermaid36 · 19/02/2016 19:25

sky normal, what's that?? Lol

DH is out bowling with work tonight - I've had my meal for one sob and a load of biscuits and am actually contemplating going to bed yes I know it's 7.30pm

We have a specialist multiple birth antenatal class tomorrow, which I'm excited about Grin

lildottie · 19/02/2016 21:26

honey less than a week until mw appt so try not to worry. I know I bang on about it but guided meditation/relaxation is amazing. Really helped me through ivf and even just a couple of pregnancy ones has helped with my anxiety. Otherwise just eat a fuck tonne of sweets and gain all.the weight you haven't in the last week ;)

First coat if paint uo in the nursery and may have decides on a cot! Maybe next weekend I can wash baby stuff too! because it smells of attic and will need 20washes!

CarrotPuff · 19/02/2016 22:42

Honey Thanks

I feel the same sometimes, I was far more relaxed with DS. I wake up in the morning, having woken up several times at night, and can't remember if I felt the baby move during the night at all. Then I panic, and then it takes a while for baby to move, so I panic even more...

I think at this stage we are so used to the movements that we often don't even notice them. Also babies can sleep up to 90 mins at a time at this stage - or so I've read.

Whenever you're worried just put your feet up and get yourself a cold drink. And if still worried give MAU a call. But it's all going to be alright. You'll have the baby safely in your arms in less than 3 weeks' time at most, probably sooner Thanks

Feeling a bit niggly tonight. But I've had that before. I actually don't feel ready yet Hmm Still got things to do!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 19/02/2016 22:56

mer my dad says normal is just a setting on the washing machine...

honeysucklejasmine · 19/02/2016 23:01

Flowers Thanks Carrot, Lil You're right of course. And yy to getting up so many times you lose track of what's been happening.

I am going to be brave and go see my new DN on Sunday. I'll take my hospital bag with me, but it's only 70 miles so if by some miracle I go in to labour whilst there, we'll just head home.

honeysucklejasmine · 20/02/2016 06:15

Well, not going to get to meet my new DN. Waiting in triage, waters have gone.

CountryGal4 · 20/02/2016 06:34

I do believe you invoked the law of sod Grin eeee your going to do a baby!!

fruitlovingmonkey · 20/02/2016 06:36
