Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 45th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 44th grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 58th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Oof, hope you are ok and taking it easy honey !

Thanks 5hell , unfortunately not worrying about unpacking is not an option- the place we have bought is smaller than our old rental so every room is literally rammed floor to Ceiling Shock luckily it's now half term, so I have a week free ish to sort it!

carrot I've not caught up on the Fred properly (we are in tgi's and taking advantage of the Internet connection like the romantic souls we are!) but it sounds like you are having a rough time atm, Flowers hope you are okay x

ThursdayLastWeek · 13/02/2016 22:14

Congrats Kate, very exciting times.

Thanks for honey. I hope you're feeling better and rested now though. I agree with fruit though, feeling as if I'm gonna pass out is my standard reaction to Subway. I had my first and last one with a killer hangover in Alice Springs and the heat and smell and the god damn dryness of everything near killed me. I haven't risked it again Grin

I hope baby carrot arrives soon to put its mother in a different kind of misery Wink.

Not long back from a friends house where DS was half Angel, half horror and I embarrassingly lost my temper with him in front of our friends Blush

ThursdayLastWeek · 14/02/2016 06:26

Oft I'm getting a lot of period pain type pains in both my back and my belly... I'm hoping I just need a big poo or something Grin but it isn't half giving me the willies.

CarrotPuff · 14/02/2016 07:12

Thanks viroids. Went to Nando's for lunch yesterday, that cheered me up Smile

Thursday are they strong? I hope it's nothing!

Kate please take it easy. Just make OH do all the unpacking Wink

Discofairypants · 14/02/2016 07:14

thursday we've all been there, you are def not alone! Ooooh hopefully just practice type pains!

Will add my self onto stats ... Keep meaning too. Think I kept getting stuck so gave up.

In hospital with a poorly DD ... Shattered and so is she!

ThursdayLastWeek · 14/02/2016 08:17

Oh no hospital disco? I hope nothing too serious. Love to your DD Thanks

Thanks for the awful child sympathy too! Luckily my friend is pregnant too, so she gets the tiredness/short tempered thing. Of course her elder daughter behaves like an angel, but hey ho.

Period pains seem to have eased off a bit now, thank goodness. They were much more painful than when I have an actual period. I never had anything approaching a natural labour with DS so this is all a but alien to me.

honeysucklejasmine · 14/02/2016 08:24

Thursday, behave, its not your turn. Wink

I am going to be pregnant for ever

5hell · 14/02/2016 08:58

Just practice / warm up pains perhaps Thurs?

Finally had my pancakes this morning Grin

I know Honey honestly, my little single week queue jump is quite enough with me! I think these things happen more and more with successive pregnancies. I certainly didn't have anything like that with DS.

It did make me realise that while I've got mine and the baby's bag packed in prep for the hospital visit, I haven't got an emergency bag for DS if he needs dropping somewhere in a hurry!

ThursdayLastWeek · 14/02/2016 12:19

Whoopie pies Grin

Not even done my bag #denial

Peenut · 14/02/2016 13:06

They look delicious Thursday!! Send some my way, SCOFF!

Did they offer you a free foot long Honey? Faint preggo women need sustenance! Hope you feel better! I find on Sundays I really want to feel refreshed by the lie in but always feel knackered from the week! (Note to self –pretend to faint in restaurants in the hope they provide free cake!)

Went out for a nice dinner last night and didn't go to bed until ... MIDNIGHT! Paying for it now! Also decided to sod it and drink gasp a glass of prosecco with dinner –I managed about three sips before feeling red faced and a bit odd, DH downed the rest. That'll teach me.

Valentine's dinners are a bit odd aren't they? Was strange being surrounded by only couples! Nice food though. DH accidentally ordered the world's girliest cocktail –pink with foam on and a chocolate on the side.

Also –anyone tried alcohol free wheat beer? Don't! It tastes very much like baked bean juice!

Glad your move is done and dusted Kate! And ... relax. Before directing other half to unpack and hoover, and make tea.

Cake to all you uncomfortable ladies.

TriJo · 14/02/2016 13:52

...I like Erdinger Alkoholfrei Peenut...

Also another member of Team March Denial here - I only have the baby's bag packed. Planning to do mine during the week when my nursing pyjamas arrive. I'm only 35 weeks today though, that's my excuse!

Peenut · 14/02/2016 14:20

I think that was what I was drinking Tri, I enjoyed it but thought it had a strange after taste I couldn't put my finger on ... baked beans! :)

honeysucklejasmine · 14/02/2016 14:48

Pack your bags, girls. Don't risk it.

Hope you are having a nice V Day! I am watching Pride & Prejudice whilst DH Hoover's and steam mops the downstairs. He's a keeper!

FeatheredTail · 14/02/2016 14:51

Hello!

Thanks for the beer tip Pee - I'm a big fan of Becks Blue; it's the only acceptable pretend alcohol IMO.

How're you feeling Carrot? Hope things get moving for you soon.

Thurs - NOM! Whoopie pies! Amazing! Just made myself some chocolate tiffin. It's delicious.

I had a bit of a disasterous time in Budapest and been feeling super emotional about it. Basically, we managed to enjoy about 50% of it. The other 50% I developed an awful fever - temperature, sweats, the whole bit. I also got cystitis badly, to the point I was peeing blood.

Had to call out an emergency private doctor to see me. He prescribed antibiotics, assuring me he had spoken to the obs consultant and that they were safe. I necked two down then thought I should call my GP friend to check. Turns out they were NOT safe to take, the risk being joint disease to the baby. Cue lots of crying - guilt at taking 2 and also the pain and frustration at not being able to take more.

Had to cancel a few of our activities including a facial. Once the cystitis had calmed down a bit, I told DH I was well enough to go to the opera. Ended up having to leave at the first interval because I felt so unwell.

Never been so glad to get home. The hotel was amazing and the staff were lovely but I just wanted my own bed.

Spent as much on this mini break than we did on two weeks in Greece Sad. Very sad that our last little luxury break together was marred and it was (mostly) money down the drain. Sob. Feel really sorry for DH too!

I can't remember the last time I had a sick day for being actually unwell as opposed to having the first tri malaise. Why do these things only happen on important days/hols/etc?!!!

CarrotPuff · 14/02/2016 15:53

Oh dear feathered you poor thing. I hope you feel better soon Thanks Sorry your holiday didn't go the way you wanted to Thanks

My DP drinks non alcohol beer sometimes, and he likes both of them. I personally love Sainsbury's own brand low alcohol cider. It actually tastes of cider, unlike Koppaberg one, that is just overly sweet pear lemonade.

I'm better, thanks. Taking it easy this weekend, so pelvis has been behaving itself, more or less.

Had a nap while DP took DS out, and dreamt I was told I'm having twins at 20w scan. I thought that's why I've put on so much weight, oh that's ok then, but realised it wasn't the case when I woke up Confused Oh well, who cares. I've shifted it once, I can do it again plus the extra half stone I've put on this time

honeysucklejasmine · 14/02/2016 16:04

Oh Feathered Sad you poor thing. I hope you recover quickly.

lildottie · 14/02/2016 16:15

oh feathered that is utterly shit. I'm sure the two tablets you took wouldn't have been a sustained enough dose to do harm and hopefully your gp friend would be able to reassure you of that but can understand the guilt. Hope you're able to get some safe antibiotics now you're home? Take it easy and get well soon xx

Well my pregnancy massage turned out to be a facial as they don't do pregnancy massages despite being told i could have one when i booked so wasnt very impressed. Pool wasn't very warm and the chairs around pool were very uncomfortable. After treatments we decided to ditch the pool and check into the room which was clean if a little tired. Dh discovered an ikea 20mins away and suggested we go there for a mooch so we did and bought a couple of bits for the house. Looked at a potential chair for the nursery too :) Restuarant at the hotel was amazing so made up for the less than perfect spa. delicious food. then today we checked out and went to Cribbs on the way home in the hope of finding some maternity clothes....no such luck. Online it is I go then!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 14/02/2016 16:45

Happy Valentines Day to you all Flowers

Been through it a bit and feeling pretty freaked out. Woke up this am itchy all over and feeling like I look quite bloated and just generally not right. Baby moving but not as much as usual so rang triage and went into day unit for blood tests and monitoring. Monitoring went fine and of course she was showing off for the midwife and rolling around like a champ. However, fundal height has not changed since MW appointment on the 27th and they were very concerned I haven't been contacted by GD team. I need to ring up first thing tomorrow and have an emergency growth scan and get blood results for cholestasis. Apparently if I do have OC it can cause the placenta to malfunction which could be what's affecting baby's growth Sad. I also need to see diabetes team immediately and the mw I saw today advised restricting carbohydrates immediately until told otherwise... which seems way less a big deal than it did yesterday. I know that with OC they advise delivering at 37 weeks which I am ok with but the lack of growth has me feeling very frightened and a quick search on MN did not turn up reassuring results... have emailed all my clients and handed over work to my staff. Basically going through the steps to prepare in case we have an emergency. Really shotting myself, actually. Hope it is nothing.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 14/02/2016 16:46

That would be "shitting myself" not shotting...

CarrotPuff · 14/02/2016 17:25

Sky easier said than done, but try not to panic. I had unchanged fh measurement with DS, MW didn't even notice. They are inaccurate at the best of times. I'm sure if they thought it was something serious they would have kept you in. Put your feet up and relax lovely ThanksBrew

Glad you had nice time lil.

We're having Indian takeaway as our V's treat tonight.

ThursdayLastWeek · 14/02/2016 17:51

Oh sky at least you will be seen quickly and find out the results sooner rather than later. I'm sure everything will be fine, and you're being looked after and you're not far from term so I think it will all be ok.

In my professional opinion of course.
I suppose they don't advise whoopie pies in such circumstances...???

feathered you poor thing, what rotten luck for you to be so poorly on your break. Don't worry about the anti biotics, I'm sure two tablets won't be enough to hurt the baby. I hope you've been able to get some more appropriate ones to help you get better fast.

lil I'm sorry your spa weekend wasn't quite as lovely as you'd hoped, though it sounds like the food helped!

honey my DH has been excellent this v day too - took DS out swimming and left me alone then sent me upstairs for a nap when they got back Grin whatta man hahahaha

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 14/02/2016 18:02

Thank you thurs and carrot I am going back first thing to be looked after. MW was very matter of fact that the lack of growth could be caused by OC affecting the placenta so while not hugely reassuring it is good to be appraised of the risks. She told me not to ring for blood test results this eve as "everyone was going home soon" so I guess they didn't keep me in as there's not much that can be done if the clinic is shut. She did say to go back if I had any concern at all. Doubt I will be getting much sleep tonight despite feeling like I have been hit by a truck but I have a better chance of rest here than on the ward.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 14/02/2016 18:12

PS lil hope you enjoyed the bits that were good about your minibreak... sounds like the food was a highlight at least

feathered bladder infections are THE WORST you poor thing! Try not to worry too much about the antibs. 2 tablets is not even close to a full course... I know it is an awful feeling but I am sure your baby is fine. Flowers
