Oh and we still haven't told family!

Annarose2014 · 27/02/2016 17:16

The anxiety only really lessened for me last time after 24 weeks. I knew the doctors would try and save it then and it would have a chance, so I finally breathed a bit easier.

CustardOmlet · 27/02/2016 21:11

Hi, I'd like to join please. I'm approx 11wks with DC2, not got my scan until 14/3 and I'm terrible at remembering dates so not going to guess my EDD. I'm not feeling the pregnancy anxiety, however I'm feeling the newborn anxiety already. DS was a challenging baby after a very easy pregnancy so DH and I had quiet a shock, really dreading those early months. On a positive note, nausea has passed, energy is returning and DS isn't winding me up.

sparkleshine83 · 27/02/2016 21:12

Agreed with the anxiety and not-feeling-real. Even after the scan - it felt real whilst I was looking at it, but now I'm thinking, well, other than being tired and a bit queasy I don't feel much different from when I wasn't pregnant. I think a lot of it is that I just can't feel anything in there, so I'm hoping it'll change when (if) I start to pick up movement. At the moment I feel like, you know that scene in the Titanic movie where the guy on the boat is shouting 'is there anyone alive out there?' except I'm shouting at my own uterus... I just don't know whats going on in there!

Sausage2229, I had ovary pains too despite having it later confirmed that they were healthy and had no cysts on whatsover, which is amazing given that I had polycystic ovaries... go figure. Also random uterus cramps which I think are growing pains... but how do I know?

Nervous first-timers high five ;)

Sausage2229 · 27/02/2016 22:12

Hey sparkle, thanks for the laugh out loud. I needed that X

foxessocks · 27/02/2016 22:58

Glad I'm not the only one feeling like this. I hope things will change once I've had the scan and I feel better. I just want my appetite back and to feel human again! All I can feel is guilt for not being as fun with my 2 year old and feel like I'm missing out on on her at the moment...not sure if that makes sense though.

Sharesinpampers · 28/02/2016 10:35

Foxes, I'm the same. Still feeling very sick, some days I might get an hour where I feel ok. The relentlessness is so tiring and getting me down. My DD has recently started to sleep poorly again after 5 months of sleeping well. So hard! DH is doing lots but he looks exhausted too. With DD I felt sick until 16 weeks and got my appetite back at 17 weeks. I'm 13 weeks plus now so hoping the end is in sight. My only consolation is she's unlikely to remember how rubbish, unenthusiastic and grumpy I was at this time!

zeeka · 28/02/2016 12:37

sparkle... Hilarious!! Grin
I am in the maternity jeans! Gap have an amazing online sale. Some of the stuff is definitely wearable after baby too, like the jumpers. I have clothes to wear!! It's been a while, nothing to do with pregnancy, just couldn't excuse the expense! So v happy Smile

Hello new people!

zeeka · 28/02/2016 12:39

shares I had a massive whinge at OH about the relentlessness of feeling sick and knackered for so many weeks. He suggested more exercise (LOL) which was 'helpful!!' I am also grumpy mum, but my dds are 8, so they'll remember... They don't care that much though Smile

SockQueen · 28/02/2016 14:29

I got prescribed some cyclizine on Friday as I was feeling really crappy. It's definitely helped! I vomited a couple of times yesterday (and one of them was my fault as I ate too much), but nowhere near as much as previous days, and the nausea is much better than it was.

Still no sign of a bump, or really any shape change at all, so far. I'm overweight (BMI 31) though I've actually lost half a stone since BFP due to vomiting/reduced appetite, so it's probably well hidden.

wornoutboots · 28/02/2016 16:37

I'm out.
baby had died some time in the last week.
good luck with your september babies.

Lilliana · 28/02/2016 16:43

Oh no wornout I'm so so sorry. Look ok after yourself and I hope you have lots of RL support. The mc boards are full of lovely supportive people who will understand and are very knowledgeable. Sending all my sympathy Flowers

Lilliana · 28/02/2016 16:46

Sorry about the random ok in there.

DD had a vomiting bug last night. 3 loads of bedding later we ran out and I spent the night on the sofa with her. No sleep for me and hourly vomiting has not helped my nausea or tiredness. Lots of Netflix and iPad today Blush. I don't think I can cope with the sleep deprivation of a newborn with a toddler too.

CustardOmlet · 28/02/2016 16:53

I'm sorry to hear this Boots take care of yourself.

Sharesinpampers · 28/02/2016 16:55

So sorry wornoutboots Flowers Take care of yourself.

FrazzleRock · 29/02/2016 13:19

I came back here to let you know that my darling little baby's heart stopped beating ja week and a half ago, and for someone to remove me from the list. But I see *wornoutboots' has also had the same devastating news.
I'm so sorry wornoutboots. I've known for a week and a half and had the awful operation last Monday as I couldn't bear to wait for things to happen naturally and deal with physical pain as well as emotional.
Take some time out for you and let your DH do whatever needs doing (day to day stuff), and if you need a chat, then please PM me. This won't help but Flowers anyway. xx

foxessocks · 29/02/2016 13:23

Sorry to hear of the losses I really am.

foxessocks · 29/02/2016 13:24

Sorry *your losses that should say.

foxessocks · 29/02/2016 13:27

Shares it is the relentlessness that's getting me down too. I also felt sick with my dd until 16 / 17 weeks and I'm nearly 14 weeks but I feel worse than ever I've been sick more times this last week than the whole month before! I'm hoping it is the worst bit and then I'll be okay. We went out for some dinner last night and I was sick in the restaurant toilets Sad it was so embarrassing. I just wanted a normal evening with my family! My dd did enjoy her ice cream though so every cloud.

Hope everyone will be nausea free soon.
