Evening! Went for my 12 week scan this afternoon. Was in the scanning room for an hour thanks to my tilted uterus making it hard to see baby at the right angles to take the measurements. EDD is now 29th August making me 11+4. It was amazing to see the baby kicking and fist punching. The little heart beating away, it was all visible. Super cute! I've got some lovely scan photos to show for it too. I'm a bit sceptical about the due date as I'm not convinced it's right as I was using CB smiley sticks and its 3 days out from when I got my first smiley. I'll be telling everyone in RL that I'm due 1st week of September as I don't want to be pestered the last week of August...I know how everybody suddenly comes out of the woodwork when you're days from giving birth!

Is anyone else starting to feel human? Its quite unnerving, I've had nausea since week 4, and now I'm 10&5 and suddenly feeling hungry and normalish. I have a scan on wednesday, so not long to wait to check if everything is ok. Think I might have been the same with first two, but can't quite remember!!

I've been feeling much better the last week or so too. No more nausea and starting to be able to stomach food that isn't carbs again. It's been replaced with insomnia though... Dd had me up at midnight and I fell asleep in the spare bed cuddling her. Up again at 3 and we're all back in the right beds but it's nearly 5 now and I'm still awake.

I had started feeling a bit better during the week but the nausea/sickness came back with a vengeance yesterday. Got a family buffet today so hope I can make it through

Thank you ladies It was such a happy moment seeing the little one on screen, I can't get my head around not having to go back for another scan next week as I was convinced I would get two scans!! Still, I saw him/her for at least an hour which felt like ages so I'm very content with that. I was up most of the night with excitement and also tender stomach pains which have left now TG.

I too have started to feel a little less queasy but it also hit me badly again yesterday morning so it's not over just yet! I can feel the cloud lifting slightly though!

Wasn't there someone else with a scan yesterday?

New - all the best with the move today. At least you have the perfect excuse not to lift boxes

Ecky - I know lol I said the same thing to myself....wow it really is a baby It's such a long wait the 3 months, sometimes you have flashes that it can't possibly be true!!

My symptoms have really gone down too. I feel like I've deflated and not really feeling sick at all so I'm worrying a bit but nothing to do but wait. My scan should be in about 2 weeks prob around 11-12 weeks as I am older.

Mine have all but dropped away too. I'm now 11+1 and tbh have only suffered with nausea for one day, but my desire to eat chocolate and drink tea has returned and whilst still pretty tired, not the exhaustion of the past few weeks. I've bought new bras today which has made an instant difference to my comfort level!

Has anyone else's DP turned into their gynaecologist?? I'm bleeding again but it's actually coming from near my bottom, must be a cut or something. The only way my DP gets near my bits is to check I'm not bleeding from anywhere bad!!

I say my symptoms have gone but that's the sickness mainly. I'm still in bed practically all day I'm so tired. That's a bonus of having older children, they don't demand things so I can just have a nap when I want!

Balala - ooooo where did you get them from? Are they wired or non wired? I don't feel ready to wear non wired all the time. I should really look into this soon!

Feeling my normal 6pm nausea tonight so DH has allowed me to sit on the sofa whilst he finishes off teatime with DS. I still have to do bath time though

They're just from m&s, 2 ultra soft cotton, non under wired, but just as supportive as my underwired ones for £14! Don't know how long they'll fit for, but even if it's only 2 weeks, I'm happy!

I really need to get comfy bras. I just keep thinking I should wait though. I will get some I reckon now - push the boat out! Anyone doing anything for Valentine's? We're going to the cinema and it starts at 8.45 so I'm staying in bed till we go!

Hi everyone, sorry I've been missing for a couple of weeks. I had a minor panic a few weeks ago and a major panic on Thursday with a bleed but had a scan today and saw a heartbeat!! So happy The dates tie up to mine too so all good! They couldn't say what the bleed was but everything looks healthy.

I've been in non-underwired bras from m&s since the day I got my bfp, my boobs were really sore before then so it was a relief to have a reason to switch over.

OhCrepe - wow that's a bargain! Did you get measured too? I found that process such a nightmare last time. I did go to a late night M&S one evening which worked quite well. Might try that again as DH can stay behind and look after my son.

Oh man not feeling good at all. I really really feel like I need a margarita pizza but DH has a big toothache tonight and I don't know if I can push him to get me one. He is annoyed with me for not planning dinner earlier He's been so patient with me but I think because he's got the toothache is wearing thin this weekend :-(

We don't have any Valentine plans. No babysitters so we can't go out.

JayBeanie - thank you Brilliant news on your scan! When is your next one?

I don't have a next scan date yet, 8+1 today so it'll be a few weeks yet. Booking on on the 23rd so hopefully will get a date soon after that.

No valentines plans here either, I doubt I'll even get a card as my DP isn't organised enough to buy one in advance and the last couple of days we've been distracted by baby concerns. Also we have DPs kids here this weekend so no chance for going out. Maybe we'll celebrate next weekend instead!!

Glad some people are seeing light at the end of the tunnel of feeling rubbish. I am 8+3 and feeling sick and like I have flu all the time - shivering cold, just want to lie down. IBS has flared up too which is adding to the nausea. Feeling much worse than last time around.

Have everyone's boobs got bigger? Mine don't seem to have done and I'm worrying this is a bad sign.

DH is cooking me Valentine's breakfast. Couldn't face going out at the moment, a fancy dinner would be wasted on me!

Oh my gosh! I actually feel quite good today! My DP is at work so I'm going to try and get the house ship shape. I haven't done any cooking or cleaning since New Year! I think it's pay back time as I'm feeling mostly human today!
