I know I am late to the list, but can I join? Currently due on September 1st - 3rd child but youngest is 14 so this feels like the first time again!

JayBeanie · 31/01/2016 06:58

Hi always
I'm with you all on the hunger. I am permanently starving, I just can't stop eating. Did the pizza thing Friday night as soon as I got in from work even though I'd done nothing but eat all day (even one of my colleagues commented). Hoping this is a good sign

Lilliana · 31/01/2016 07:55

Hi always you're very welcome!

We had pizza yesterday too! I am trying to be healthy but all I want is carbs.

0hCrepe · 31/01/2016 08:35

I had fruit salad and creme fraiche last night too, the grapes were so delicious! Also had a fish finger sandwich. I'm not getting on with decaf tea at all, just had a normal one and all is right again. Think I'll just cut down.
I've been cramping a bit and had pulling on the left and worrying but apparently it's normal, lots of growing at 7 weeks. But paranoid about a sesame seed bar I had on Friday. They are recommended by nhs though for vegan mums to be (I'm not). Trying not to over think. I've got a cold too and just so tired. Just wish I could get past this early bit and know everything is ok.
I reckon We'll find out the sex we did for our others I just love knowing before.

0hCrepe · 31/01/2016 08:37

Alwaysbsharp my youngest is 9 so not quite as big a gap but still starting over.
Talking of bedrooms, I'm sketching plans for an extension we probably can't afford! I guess you have to declare pg when remortgaging and admit to planning to go part time after mat leave?!

nailsathome · 31/01/2016 08:47

Ohcrepe no you don't have to declare anything. You tell them your current earnings and say no, nothing is expected to change in the future.

I actually got my latest mortgage whilst on Mat leave. It was a bit of a faff because I had to get a letter from work saying when I'd be going back and how much I would earn but it went back and forth 4 times because it wasn't worded exactly right e.g. they'd addressed it to the mortgage company and not to me. Having said that, we still got the mortgage anyway.

0hCrepe · 31/01/2016 08:59

Oh that's good to know. I've had a figure given a few months ago on my current ft earnings with dh's income not included as he's self employed. He's earned more this year than last 2 though and should maintain that so his should be able to make up the difference.

zeeka · 31/01/2016 09:55

crepe what's up with sesame seeds? I eat them on salads! Although I'm totally off food right now. I'm eating tiny meals and am right off most foods. Greek yogurt is currently my saviour! Nice to see some of you have discovered its greatness too Smile

0hCrepe · 31/01/2016 10:03

Nothing's wrong I don't think it's just me over googling a food I don't normally eat but did because someone offered me them. The nhs site recommended them so just ignore me I am a bit OTT!

MillieMoodle · 31/01/2016 11:03

Yy to Greek yoghurt, have been eating it with maple syrup. Mmmm!

Sausage2229 · 31/01/2016 11:32

Morning ladies! Much easier to follow this thread now that people have buggered off to fb! I'm not up for the fb group - I don't want my face putting to my name. Off out shopping in town - hopefully the morning sickness won't rear its ugly head whilst out in town! I get nausea from the minute I get up!! Got a week off work this week - much needed! Smile

alwaysbsharp · 31/01/2016 11:38

I find I am not too bad with the morning sickness, as long as I stuff my stomach with carbs! Croissant breakfast for me this morning.

Annarose2014 · 31/01/2016 11:55

No morning sickness this am. Thank God, am at work and several of my patients have necrotic tissue, poor things. But strong stomach needed!

Sproutingbean · 31/01/2016 13:08

Hi, hope everyone's well and having a nice weekend. Mines so so as feeling sick. Although thankfully not being sick! My sense of smell had really changed to the point where my DC1s nappies are making me heave! DH has had the pleasure of changing them this weekend! Not looking forward to him going back to work though. I certainly wasn't feeling sick so much or so early with previous pregnancy so DH suggested that it could be twins! Eeek! Can you imagine!

zeeka · 31/01/2016 13:26

Twins are great, no hassle at all Wink ha!
anna rose my job suddenly seems miles easier. I take my hat off to you. I'm definitely not going to google necrotic tissue; my imagination has done too much already!

Yes to the sense of smell... Everything is disgusting!

Sharesinpampers · 31/01/2016 13:30

I can't wait for the feeling sick phase to be early. I was away this weekend and I grazed a lot which helped but not sure I can keep nibbling on crisps and choc for another 6 weeks Confused

I'm now snuggling DD on the sofa watching back to back Peppa Pig. Please tell me I'm not ruining her forever.....don't think I can survive the sickness without plonking us both on the sofa!

Sharesinpampers · 31/01/2016 13:37

...sick phase to be over. Not early....

icklekid · 31/01/2016 13:42

shares am telling myself the same thing no longer term harm done I'm sure!

sprouting Yes to sense of smell both nappies but also dh cooking meat seems to set me off badly!

Sproutingbean · 31/01/2016 13:45

I'm exactly the same, DS has watched a lot of to this week! Feel bad that don't have energy to spend as much time on him. Fingers crossed won't last too much longer till we all start feeling better

Fifi10 · 31/01/2016 13:46

I was eating constantly up to 6/7 weeks to stop the nausea but that's tailed off a bit now so I'm eating normally again now at 10 weeks. I had the same worries about eating too much for the next 8 months and getting huge.

Bit of a weird one- has anyone got any experience of the pain management clinic? I'm going tomorrow as I've not been on any of my usual pain meds since Oct/Nov (TTC) but obviously pregnancy is making my joints worse so they want to look at alternate pain management options.

0hCrepe · 31/01/2016 14:16

I'd love twins as I'm old! Playmates in one go! I have twin half siblings and feel sicker than my other pg too so I'm imagining it might be the case sometimes when I get carried away!

Annarose2014 · 31/01/2016 14:23

Is anyone else getting a bit.....sluggish, bowel wise? I know it's normal but I want to nip it in the bud before it becomes problematic. I have some lactulose at home from my glorious post-birth constipation from hell, and I think I might take a few slugs tonight to keep me tickety boo.

Lilliana · 31/01/2016 14:24

DD is currently on the iPad watching 'surprise eggs' on youtube Hmm no educational value but my hormones are all over the place. The littlest thing makes me cry (or nothing at all). Don't feel like I'm coping very well at the moment and feeling very sorry for DD who just wants lots of attention ATM.

fifi my dad went to pain management but not exactly sure what they did. He has lots of drug to take though! Hope they help you.

I really hope it's not twins - we would be financially ruined.

Kitkatmonster · 31/01/2016 14:30

Morning sickness for me today (that will teach me to pinch the kids leftover haribo after breakfast). I've had waves of nausea on and off all day since, I hope this isn't the start of things just as I was getting used to the idea of being a lucky, no nasty symptoms pregnant person!

Fifi10 · 31/01/2016 14:56

lilliana thanks, I guess I'll have to see what they say.

Through my GP I was booked in for a month course of acupuncture but as soon as I found out I was pregnant they said I couldn't have it any more due to mc risk. They also suggested I carry on with codeine but I'm not happy taking opiates for next 7 months!
