Wow! First here. Well actually mine #2 is due 30th Sept by dates but as DD was 10d late I guess Oct is the place to be. I was in Oct 14 so Oct 16 seems to be the right place to be. Anyone else?

Welcome lisa
Hope everyone has nice plans for the weekend.
My toddler kick started the weekend with a tantrum in the nursery carpark. Confused

melonribena · 29/01/2016 17:32

Congratulations Lisa!
How are you feeling?

missybct · 29/01/2016 17:45

Hi and welcome ditsy and Lisa - CONGRATULATIONS! Flowers

How are we all feeling? My boobs ACHE. So much aching. I'm still grubby and cold. I'm desperate for a bath. My hair is all greasy Angry.

Took a CB Digi (one left, thought why not) this morning and got 2-3 weeks, only a couple of days after the 1-2 weeks Grin Pleased, as it was pretty diluted urine sometime in the morning when I was half asleep.

Our weekend will hopefully be significantly better as today is payday after the long bleak Christmas lull, plus we got a bonus for the first time in ages. What are we all up to?

wetsnow · 29/01/2016 17:54

Yes payday! We have takeaway planned then dd has ballet and a birthday party tomorrow. Busy day.

DH wants me to get a digital... but no periods a positive cheapieside are enough for me.

LisaTheGreek · 29/01/2016 17:54

Thanks Melon!

I feel.... completely normal. Don't think I have a single symptom or problem - bit weird, but hopefully I just enjoy it while it lasts!

wetsnow · 29/01/2016 18:10

lisa I'm the same. And I was last time too. No morning sickness either. Really hoping for the same this time.

SimileMilly · 29/01/2016 19:44

Hi ditsygal (I'm a Nov'12 too Wink) and Lisa - congratulations!

I'm choked with the cold today. Took a day of AL with the intention of blitzing the house but have managed to tidy DD's room and that's it. Symptom wise I'm just totally exhausted but don't know how much of that is just this horrible cold and a busy week at work. Early night tonight anyway and then DD is off to stay with her grandparents for the weekend after ballet tomorrow Grin

Had my first day off pregnancy related sickness absence today! It doesn't bode well! But my boss was really understanding and suggested I work from home all of next week.

How are people's symptoms? I've just had a touch of nausea in the evenings, and tiredness. And constipation Blush. I'm trying to load up on fruit and veg now before any sickness really kicks in

wetsnow · 29/01/2016 21:24

Lovely boss you have baby

No symptoms so far here.
Oh no to constipation ... fruit might help that too!

Any runners on the group? Can I still run? I do at least 5th twice a week.

wetsnow · 29/01/2016 21:25

5k!

Shropitlikeitshot · 29/01/2016 21:48

Hello. Started crying about four days ago so decided to take a pregnancy test today. It was positive! It didn't stem the steady flow of tears.

This will be my second baby, my daughter was born in Feb 14. Due date is 4/2/16.

I'm 31, from rural Shropshire, married for almost 4 years. Look forward to getting to know you all.

wetsnow · 29/01/2016 21:51

Welcome Shrops and due date bud! Smile

LotsaTuddles · 29/01/2016 22:47

Ok I believe it now. Got more of a real line. I'm guessing to be around 4 weeks, so this is stretching time I think.

Has anyone else previously had a csection? I had an emcs with ds in 2923, and my scar has been stinging for the last few days

melonribena · 29/01/2016 23:48

Welcome shrop!

I had a previous c section. Not noticed anything on my scar but will look out for it!

Ladycrazycat · 30/01/2016 05:45

Morning all. 😀

Lisa your boss sounds wonderful!

I've been looking at dates again on my fertility app. Last month my period was late by about four days. Looking back at the previous months, when that happens, I tend to have a shorter cycle by a few days the following month before going back to 28 days. If that is the case then I would have ovulated early meaning that I'm actually a few days more pregnant than I thought. I actually had a positive on an ovulation kit (only a cheap pound land kit - thought I'd give it a try as I had never used one before) on that earlier day.

So working with that theory, my due date would be the 29/09 rather than the 03/10. How accurate can they be at the dating scan?

How's everyone feeling? I had my first bit of nausea yesterday and my cramping is still intermittent. Last night it got quite bad for a short while (maybe a minute tops)and it had me quite worried. I'm also concerned because I have no breast pain at all now. Googling it seems that can happen but a little later on. I'm hoping I am just worrying about nothing.

Ladycrazycat · 30/01/2016 05:47

Sorry I meant iloveyou boss sounds wonderful! Blush

Ladycrazycat · 30/01/2016 05:48

Oh and Merkin thank you for the booking recommendation. I downloaded it last night and it's amazing!

Gigglebert · 30/01/2016 06:24

Hi all :) got my bfp yesterday and reckon I'm due the 7th October :) this is number two for us, daughter was born 26th October 2013 so will be nearly three when she becomes a big sis assuming all goes well!

We are just outside Edinburgh and I made my first midwife and scan appointments yesterday... 29th of March seems forever away to get to see our little bean!

Shropitlikeitshot · 30/01/2016 06:48

Welcome giggle! Wow, You've reminded me- so I need to tell the doc and start taking folic acid, what else? It's been a long time and I've forgotten.....!

Lady crazy my last pregnancy was totally symptomless. Don't worry x

ILoveYouBaby · 30/01/2016 07:01

Welcome Shrops and Giggle BrewCake

wetsnow · 30/01/2016 07:33

I had forgotten about folic acid too... just took one from my old stash... then checked the best before date. Is out of date folic acid bad???

LisaTheGreek · 30/01/2016 07:37

Quick question everyone - I know we shouldn't have Camembert, but can we have baked Camembert?

I have a feeling I've read somewhere that that is ok, but don't know for sure.

Thanks

Shropitlikeitshot · 30/01/2016 07:40

Yep, any cooked cheese is fine even if it's unpasteurised x

LisaTheGreek · 30/01/2016 07:41

Shrop, you have just made my day! Thank you!

OrangeBlossom2 · 30/01/2016 07:42

Can I join too?

I had a strong positive this morning after a couple of negatives and a very feint line you had to squint in the right light to see yesterday. EDD around 8th October I think. I had implantation bleeding and sore boobs on Wednesday and dizziness and nausea the last few days so I was pretty sure. This will be DC2.

DS1 was an October 2013 baby and my mumsnet group were, and still are, a great source of support and friendship.

I'm a teacher and I live in Surrey. I look forward to getting to know you all.
