Wow! First here. Well actually mine #2 is due 30th Sept by dates but as DD was 10d late I guess Oct is the place to be. I was in Oct 14 so Oct 16 seems to be the right place to be. Anyone else?

Thanks lisa. Confirmed my thoughts that it's like many many things in pregnancy that you could spend time worried about. My first pregnancy was marred by someone saying I should 't be eating something when I was about 8 months pregnant - I spent the last month terrified of stillbirth and that it would all be my fault. Not fun and as it turned out completely unfounded.

thistlescot · 15/02/2016 18:53

Flowers so sorry Orianabanana

SimileMilly · 15/02/2016 19:21

mrben mine is Sunday too

So sorry oriana

I've had a lot of cramping this afternoon but think it could be my super tight tights. Is that mad? Taken them off now I'm home and the crampings subsided (and bloating increased 10 fold). I will be wearing leggings to work for the rest of the week!!

melonribena · 15/02/2016 19:40

Oriana, I'm so sorry to hear that.

Afreshstartplease · 15/02/2016 20:01

Even all, have felt really sick until about 3 pm today . Worst day so far.

Yuck

5+2 hope tomorrow is better

Afreshstartplease · 15/02/2016 20:02

Flowers Oriana

melonribena · 15/02/2016 20:26

I'm 7+2 and just feel so bloated with awful wind (tmi!) Think that's what causes most of my stomach aches!

My friend gave me a baby carrier today. An Infantino. Has anyone else used one?

wondermoose · 15/02/2016 20:51

I've not used infantino, the older ones are 'crotch danglers' for want of a better term, but some of the newer ones are better, basically with any carrier/sling you are looking for their legs to be in an M shape when in, so their weight is supported on the thighs :)

climbingcheesecake · 15/02/2016 20:58

I can join the bloating gang. Have to undo my bra everychance I get.
Is anyone else finding it hard to make excuses for not being able to do things? Most of my socialising is doing sports and I have been so tired lately, that I've either had to cancel, or make something up about why I am being so bad...! I will struggle to make up another 5 weeks worth of excuses!

TeaGirl3 · 15/02/2016 20:58

Hi everyone, I'm 4+2 with #1, so this is all very new to me. We told my in-laws this weekend and we'll be telling my parents this weekend, which I'm so excited about. So far I've had bloating, feeling hungrier in the afternoon and feeling more tired, so I'm going to be bed earlier and waking up earlier than usual. As my cycles are so long and irregular, my doctor said our due date could be around 10 or 22 October.

Penguinpattering · 15/02/2016 21:03

Hello again, I'm definitely a real newbie to Mumsnet so apologies for not keeping up. It's lovely to talk to people here and share tentative excitement when you can't in real life!

Is anybody else getting cramps that come and go (not painful just uncomfortable on one side.. I'm obsessively knicker checking atm.. Sad) plus experiencing insonmia which is not helping the fatigue, I hope you're all doing okay otherwise.

Penguinpattering · 15/02/2016 21:05

TeaGirl3 we believe we are 4+2 with the sane due dates according to my calculations!

melonribena · 15/02/2016 21:08

Penguin, I've definitely been having cramps on and off for weeks. Sometimes they are quite painful and I worry. But it's either trapped wind or just goes on its own! I've heard it's normal!

JulietteT · 15/02/2016 21:34

Flowers Oriana. Hugs.

LisaTheGreek · 15/02/2016 21:43

So sorry Oriana. Sending you love and support through the internet Thanks

summeraupair · 15/02/2016 21:52

penguin I am very with you on the knicker checking!! ...my own I mean... I think it's normal in early pregnancy to have more discharge/CM and I'm panicking every five minutes. Plus I can't tell the difference between potential cramps or potential hip pain, I just know something bloody hurts!

There was me thinking the trying for a baby was the stressful bit...

Kay0502 · 16/02/2016 00:17

Hi can I join... My Edd is October 2nd. I'm having a nightmare trying to get in to see the midwife so booked a private early scan in a few weeks to give me and my husband piece of mind. Hope we all have a healthy pregnancy.

Afreshstartplease · 16/02/2016 06:19

Morning all

Well I am up feeling dreadful, woke at six bursting for the loo and in my attempt to sneak back to bed managed to wake dd up. So now we are watching milkshake.

Feel queasy. Can't decide to have a brew or not. It does usually help but the thought of swallowing anything is yuck

PunkyPod · 16/02/2016 06:35

Hello! Hopping on board as I just got my BFP. Looks like I'm due 24th October which makes me 4 weeks now. I have 2 DC and this is my 5th pregnancy. The 2 mcs have been around 6 weeks so I'm just hoping to get past that and then relax a little.
My DD is 3.8 and my DS is 1.2. Feeling so wonderful and surprised right now as ov happened during a d&v bug which struck the whole house! I was pretty sure we missed the boat so to speak.
So hello everyone

Afreshstartplease · 16/02/2016 06:45

Welcome punky!

Wishing you a happy healthy pregnancy

wetsnow · 16/02/2016 06:53

Wow so many newbies! Welcome all.
If you can copy and paste the list up thread so we can see how many we are.

I officially have a cold. That's tonsillitis, eye infection and a cold since I was pregnant. Same happened last time... my immune system seems to drop when pregnant.

Dd had a lie in! She's awake but still in bed and so am I.

Lucinda15 · 16/02/2016 06:59

Hello everyone. I have been hovering on here for a few days - 5 weeks pregnant today, known for a week but too scared to admit it really. Had 2 mc's last year and can't shake an awful feeling it will happen again. Trying to be positive and have faith this will be 3rd time lucky and thought perhaps some chat on this thread will help me relax and encourage a little excitement in me Smile

Dnt have any symptoms as yet apart from sensitive nipples, increased cm, mild waves of nausea first thing (strangely only in the morning - last pregnancies have been throughout the day), and lots of farting and bloated tum. Nice!! Would actually like some more symptoms to reassure me. I dnt even feel that tired. Again, with last pregnancies I felt absolutely knocked sideways with exhaustion at this point. It's all ringing alarm bells that something is wrong but I'm trying to just go with it.

Have early reassurance scan booked in 3 weeks, initially thought that was not too long but days are dragging now!!

Afreshstart - I hear you! I've lost count of the number of times I got up for a wee in the night, but I know it was at least four. I now feel exhausted and sick (though, TMI, a number two has helped!). This now seems to be my pattern.

I stopped drinking at 9pm last night, but clearly it didn't work, so I need to bring that forward a bit and try again tonight. If I don't sleep through one night I'm going to be shattered by the end of the week Sad
