Wow! First here. Well actually mine #2 is due 30th Sept by dates but as DD was 10d late I guess Oct is the place to be. I was in Oct 14 so Oct 16 seems to be the right place to be. Anyone else?

thistle I was super paranoid about food last time, I work in Microbiology and had to go on placement to a food testing lab 😱 didn't help!!

thistlescot · 13/02/2016 12:08

I'm glad it's not just me 😂 looking at the chicken and pork in the supermarket last week made me want to throw up!

bananafish81 · 13/02/2016 12:30

Oh god the breathlessness - I'm so glad it's not just me. Our house is a very tall skinny terrace with three flights of stairs and I'm properly out of puff by the time I've got up to the bedroom. And even a leisurely stroll up the escalator on the tube has me gasping - and I'm not an unfit person. I thought I was supposed to get out of breath if I was waddling around with a massive bump, not when I'm not quite 6 weeks!!

Afreshstartplease · 13/02/2016 13:01

No breathlessness here, it's not something I remember having early on in previous pregnancies either

Super tired now after lots of cleaning and tidying but still lots more to do

Afreshstartplease · 13/02/2016 13:15

I have just discovered DC3 has fallen asleep on the sofa so I think I'll join her! Only for a little bit

Figgygal · 13/02/2016 13:37

I told ds when he turned 4 I couldn't lift him anymore so now I really can't but really missing it strangely
My boobs are agony not growing though they didn't change at all last time probably why breast feeding was a bloody disaster.

Cold slightly better today been to soft play with ds this morning have an estate agent coming round this afternoon to put our house on the market....,bloody stupid really going to have less money for next 5 years but will need more space and it's probably now or never.

Tallblue · 13/02/2016 13:58

Joining in with DC2 due around 19th October!
Had quite a scary day today as I have had breast pain and lumpiness for a few weeks and finally went for a breast ultrasound. Apparently it's just a cyst so I'm very relieved and might now allow myself to be a teeny bit excited about my BFP!

wetsnow · 13/02/2016 14:18

Fab news tall
Dd is having a long nap today she's been in bed since 12.30.
I may also be in bed! :)

Afreshstartplease · 13/02/2016 14:32

Can't sleep damn it!

Planeteer · 13/02/2016 14:34

Just told my mum. So lovely to have her so excited, and has made it feel more real. Eek!

Planeteer · 13/02/2016 14:36

Hi tall really glad results were good today for you.

Meant to say Lisa and snow in another SE Londoner. Think I've got Lewisham and Kings as hospital choices. Leaning towards Kings atm.

2016willbebetter · 13/02/2016 14:49

Hello, my EDD is 25th October. DH and I have been trying for 3 months. AF isn't due until Tuesday, but I noticed the veins on my chest were really prominent when having a shower on Wednesday night. I took a test on Thursday and got a very faint BFP. FRER arrived today so have used that and now the line is clear enough for DH to see Smile
We won't be telling anybody IRL for a long time, so it'll be nice to be able to discuss it here.

Tallblue · 13/02/2016 14:53

Thanks wetsnow and planeteer

wetsnow I wish my little one would nap for that long! Quick, grab a nap yourself!

Hope you are all feeling well today. I don't have many symptoms yet other than crushing tiredness along with pregnancy insomnia 3-5am every night which makes the tiredness worse. Reading through earlier posts it seems I'm not alone with the insomnia. How are you all coping?

Btw, I'm from NW England but living in the Middle East, the healthcare here is great but I do miss the NHS....

Gigglebert · 13/02/2016 15:54

Hi ladies, maybe tmi but does anyone else have diarrhoea? I'm struggling to eat much because of nausea and then am having awful cramps which are poop related! :( nhs website no use as it doesn't show as a pregnancy symptom but some googling found some random mumsnet threads about it and also threw up something about ectopic (which I refused to let myself read) so now I'm all freaked out!

Peppaspants · 13/02/2016 16:11

giggle I had that last week and did the same search so probably found the same threads! I read the ectopic thing too but I also read that you would have shoulder pains too if that was the problem so hopefully unlikely. To be honest, there's loads of it going round DS's nursery at the moment and my work so I've kind of assumed it was a coincidence rather than a pregnancy symptom?

Gigglebert · 13/02/2016 16:14

Thanks Peppa hopefully just end-of-term-itis and bugs caught from my wee one! 29th March and my scan just can't come fast enough!

pandaglasses · 13/02/2016 16:19

giggle I had that in my first pregnancy, not this time though. It's normal because of all the hormonal changes going on in that area. It settled down for me and turned to puking Confused Is anyone else struggling with eating fruit and veg? It makes me want to throw up and I normally eat a lot. I'm coping with bread and crisps this week

lokahsamastah · 13/02/2016 16:20

Hi all Smile Time for me to stop lurking and jump on board, if that's ok?

4+5 today, already have DD who turned 4 in December so I'm hoping this age gap works out well.
I suffered with hyperemesis in last pregnancy so I'm on alert for the warning signs and have a plan of action in place for if/when the sickness kicks in. Trying not to worry too much but it will be so hard if I end up in hospital again.

Afreshstartplease · 13/02/2016 16:36

Slap me

I've been looking at prams online

Tell me I'm not alone

Or

Slap me

missybct · 13/02/2016 16:37

panda - YES! I normally eat tonnes of fruit and veg, but all I want is carbs and salt. I sent OH out for McDonald's which I normally never touch - I'm such a carb fiend right now. I know there is some link between salt levels and low blood pressure which may account for it, but it's quite honestly the only thing I really fancy.

I had a bit of loose stools last week, but not diarrohea as such - still, going 3 times a day was a novelty as I'm usually the other way Blush.

Tiredness has abated, boobs are sorer and BY GOD THE NAUSEA Sad - started yesterday about 1pm, lasted until the very second I went to bed at half 10. I made a rather rash decision in joining OH and mates down the pub for pizza (regular Friday night thing when we all have sitters or DSS is with his Mum) and I felt ungodly - only two people there knew and the others probably thought I was in a mood, but I felt so chundery every time I didn't have food in my mouth Grin - i may have asked OH to get chips on way home after eating pizza

It's low lying, and sort of sweeps in whenever I make too much movement which makes me think it's linked to the dizziness/low blood pressure. It's eased by eating, which is kind of ironic, and I'm so paranoid about putting on too much weight Blush. I think I must have spoke too soon about the lack of symptoms Hmm.

missybct · 13/02/2016 16:38

No slapping here afreshstart - My Mum's already asked me whether she wants me to retrieve my OWN pram from when I was a baby (31 years ago) Grin

Afreshstartplease · 13/02/2016 16:39

Gosh that pram is older than me!

Figgygal · 13/02/2016 16:56

Welcome lokah my ds was 4 in December too and welcome all others!!

Yes to craving crap I've had to do everything in my power to stop me going out for a sausage roll dying for some pastry and I don't even eat pigs!! We having steak for tea nom nom

I've also been really short of breath for a few days but it's prob because with the cold I can't breathe through my nose at all

missybct · 13/02/2016 17:12

Haha, well technically the pram is older than me too, Mum bought it before I was born Wink

Oh steak Grin - I've eaten it several times since being up the duff!

bananafish81 · 13/02/2016 17:15

Raises hand on the crap. I don't know whether it's just my body rebelling against months of high protein low carb IVF diet, or that it's a pregnancy thing, but ALL I want is salty carby crap. Oh and kiwi fruit. No idea about that one. But anything salty oh my. And I'm normally so sweet toothed!
