Wow! First here. Well actually mine #2 is due 30th Sept by dates but as DD was 10d late I guess Oct is the place to be. I was in Oct 14 so Oct 16 seems to be the right place to be. Anyone else?

Dd up at 630 here so now enduring milkshake on TV

Think I'll risk a cup of tea. Haven't felt sick yet this morning

Bikey86 · 13/02/2016 07:23

Hello everyone, this thread is moving so fast its hard to keep up!

I'm 5 weeks and seriously bloated, no sickness here yet though. Think i started feeling sick with baby #1 around six weeks so I've got that to look forward too.

Also up early here too, DS decided 5:30 was an acceptable time to get up!! Zzzzzz.
Away for the night with DH tonight so will be a nice chance to spend to time together.

Afreshstartplease · 13/02/2016 07:28

My bloating is much worse in the evening

Anyone else find this?

Like now I'm just normal, but by the afternoon I feel it creeping on and by bedtime I'm near waddling

wetsnow · 13/02/2016 07:29

Ooh nice bikey enjoy!!

wetsnow · 13/02/2016 07:31

fresh that's crap. I feel bloated all the time at the moment. I think it's because I'm eating like a horse.

Afreshstartplease · 13/02/2016 07:35

I wouldn't say I'm eating more than usual

But at different times

Not eating much in the morning any more, but after work I am bow starving stuffing toast down my neck before tea!

I have to do a big clean /,tidy today

My house has got awful this week and I'm worrying on the impact baby four is going to have on my already not fantastic management of household chores

wetsnow · 13/02/2016 07:47

frest I struggle with one child to keep the house tidy.

IndiX · 13/02/2016 07:49

Fresh I am the same, my tummy is fine now but after about lunchtime I start bloating and by evening I look 6 months gone!

fish88 · 13/02/2016 07:53

fresh I'm also sat watching milkshake Hmm Although I did persuade the toddler to get back in bed with me for half an hour this morning so didn't have to get up too early.

Havetobecrazytolivehere · 13/02/2016 08:18

Morning, woke up at 6am but have been trying to get back to sleep, kids are running riot in each other's rooms but I'm off on a course today so DH in charge.
Finally got my 3+ on CB digi so feeling a bit less anxious 5+6 today.
Have to say my housework skills have always been pretty poor, working from home has only made it worse.

JulietteT · 13/02/2016 08:26

Hi all. Sore boobs, backache, cramps and exhaustion all still here, but no nausea yet. Quite dreading it. I'm 5+4 today.

Before I found out, I was planning to spend a couple of weekends redecorating our hall, stairs and landing: sanding, painting etc. When I mentioned it last night my MIL insisted I couldn't possibly still do it. I figure I'll be fine as long as I take it slow, have lots of breaks and use a mask for the dust. What do you ladies think?

Afreshstartplease · 13/02/2016 08:53

Glad I'm not the only one who is less than a domestic goddess

I too have plans to decorate here and there before babies arrival, house last decorated three years ago when expecting DC3 lol

LisaTheGreek · 13/02/2016 09:18

Juliette, you'll be fine. I think as you said, the main thing is to wear a mask when you're sanding and see how it goes.

The only reason I would say definitely don't do it is if you think the paint you're going to sand is lead paint (if it's really old). That's toxic and even a mask won't stop the fumes when sanding. But otherwise it's fine.

SimileMilly · 13/02/2016 09:36

Absolutely exhausted this morning. With you all on the bloating. Even my "fat day" jeans felt really tight yesterday. Blush

I've been in bed before 9 every night this week but had a friend round last night who didn't leave until midnight! DD equally grumpy this morning so we're giving ballet a miss and having a duvet day (not had one of those in about a year!)

SimileMilly · 13/02/2016 09:39

Also planning on decorating here. I renovated my entire house last year when I bought it but have already redone our bedroom. I never liked the colour we chose for the kitchen either but DP and I can't agree on a different colour - I might just do it myself while he's at work Blush.

Planeteer · 13/02/2016 09:57

Hi all, can I join? Bfp on Tuesday and 3+ on a CB digital. Stupid cycles make calculating tricky but I think I'm about 4+6 today, which would make us EDD twins thistle Smile.

Main symptoms so far are a constant metallic/hungover taste in the mouth and a crushing tiredness around 3pm every day. Plus is anyone else drinking enough water to basically fill a bathtub/small lake?! So. Thirsty!!

Haven't had a midwife referral yet, bloods next week to check HCG levels and try to help with dating. Feeling quite impatient, hehe. Going to have a good old read back through this thread now. Happy Saturday all x

Afreshstartplease · 13/02/2016 10:10

Urgh

I've just squeezed myself into a pair of skinny jeans I wore them last week but now they are so uncomfortable

Horrible bloating

Fraggleface · 13/02/2016 10:22

Hi ladies, please can I join? Just got a bfp on a tesco test (the you are pregnant line came up straight away, even before the control - is that normal?!) I'm 2 weeks late so guessing about 6 weeks gone.
Completely unplanned so needless to say we are in complete shock.
Very sore boobs and cramps on and off for 2 weeks, been very tired but also waking up very early, which is unlike me.
Not told anyone in RL yet so it will be good to have some Mumsnet buddies in the same boat! Congrats to all of you x

wondermoose · 13/02/2016 10:26

Urgh the bloating! I've always been big but it's ridiculous!

How are people with other dc's coping with lifting? I avoided lifting anything heavy for the first 12 weeks with my first but now I'm carrying him around and it's making me tired very quickly and very achy under my tummy 😕

planeteer I'm with you on the weird taste and drinking all the water! I've found lemon drinks are helping weirdly!

Afreshstartplease · 13/02/2016 10:28

I've still picked dd up as normal, she's not far off three and in 3-4 clothes, I've not felt any discomfort doing this

wondermoose · 13/02/2016 10:34

Ah cool, good to know :) thanks

thistlescot · 13/02/2016 10:47

Hi EDD twin Planeteer, I am also drinking a lot of water and very thirsty. I read it could be to do with your body creating all the new blood as apparently your blood volume increased by up to 50%!

Am with you on the tiredness front, yesterday afternoon was a massive struggle to get through at work and it went sooo slowly!

Keep getting waves of dizziness and very out of breath, walking upstairs is especially taxing! I have asthma and don't know whether I should be using my inhaler more or not, does anymore else have asthma? Mine is mild and brought on through exercise, but the breathlessness at the moment is very annoying and it's not even like I really weigh much more than normal!!

Congratulations to all, I'm glad to have company on this journey.

mrsamerican · 13/02/2016 11:22

Hey thistle, no worries about the breathlessness. I'm a fairly athletic person normally, and the tiny flight of steps in our house has to be taken half at the time! More blood volume causes all sorts of fun side effects. Thankfully, I'm not fainting anymore but still feeling completely run down.

thistlescot · 13/02/2016 11:27

Thank you mrsamerican (how do I bold?) That's good to know as I have 8 flights to walk up for work and it's taking me longer and longer puffs

thistlescot · 13/02/2016 11:30

Also is anyone else going off meat and getting paranoid about food poisoning or is it just me 😱
