Wow! First here. Well actually mine #2 is due 30th Sept by dates but as DD was 10d late I guess Oct is the place to be. I was in Oct 14 so Oct 16 seems to be the right place to be. Anyone else?

Hi everyone, EDD October 18th with my third Smile

LisaTheGreek · 12/02/2016 16:02

Fish - my colleagues are also ready to jump on ANY sign whatsoever (not just from me, they also suspect some more senior is preggers too).

Are you admitting it or throwing them off the scent?

OrangeBlossom2 · 12/02/2016 16:15

5+6 and really tired from being awake for a couple of hours each night for no reason and feeling nauseous. I look v pregnant with my gas baby every afternoon/evening but it goes in the morning. Sore boobs have now developed into a clamping biting feeling while feeding DS1. I was hoping that wouldn't happen so early and hope I can carry on through it.

I've been reading about the causes of morning sickness and apparently low magnesium can be to blame. It is hard to avoid sugar and think of healthy meals when you are tired but I am going to try. I've been eating avocados every day so that's a happy coincidence.

I've just arranged my booking appointment for 29th Feb. Annoyingly the midwife only works every other Monday, one of the two days I work. And it is at 11.40 so I can't really go to work before or afterwards as we live quite p far away. I am composing an email to tell my head teacher. I was hoping to avoid telling until after the scan.

The independent midwives had to cancel our consultation due to a woman in labour (fair excuse!) so we are seeing them on 24th now. Apparently I still have to register with NHS even if we do go private to get scans and just in case I transfer in during delivery.

Blueskygirl30 · 12/02/2016 16:15

Sorry for so many posts. The midwife said the spotting sounds normal and could be the plancenta attaching but if I get any pain or heavy bleeding over the weekend to go to A&E so now feel loads better and will stop clogging up the group with my posts!!

OrangeBlossom2 · 12/02/2016 16:26

I'm glad that has made you feel less anxious bluesky .

Ladycrazycat · 12/02/2016 16:30

Hi all,

I had my booking in appointment today which I found very exciting! My midwife was absolutely lovely and she's booked me in for an early scan to confirm dates which I'm excited/anxious about. I'm pleased it's happening but on the other hand nervous that they might say I've miscarried or something. Hopefully it'll put my mind at rest once I've had it done. It should be next week some time.

Today I hadn't felt to Ill but now the nausea is back. 😔

wondermoose · 12/02/2016 16:44

That's great blue :) Glad she was able to put your mind at rest

I'm having mw rage today! Called the office that covered my area previously at 9 am, got a call back at 430 saying they don't cover us any more and the office that does closes at 4pm! Also they've moved the clinic from my Dr's surgery to one 15 mins drive away which is annoying when your oh has the car during the week, I'm annoyed because I now have to ring the new mw while I'm at work on Monday!

SmwarbFirst · 12/02/2016 17:32

Blueskygirl

That sounds like such a relief ! So with out pain or bleeding try to remain positive. Glad all is well with you :)

wetsnow · 12/02/2016 17:43

Woop! Half term!!!!

That is all.

fish88 · 12/02/2016 17:46

lisa I'm not admitting to them because we haven't told our family yet. They also keep guessing that other people at work are pregnant. I don't think we'll be able to keep it quiet until the scan but was hoping to wait until about 8 weeks.

Reluctantnympho · 12/02/2016 17:47

Amen wet amen! Smile

summeraupair · 12/02/2016 18:14

Georgina You're welcome Smile Nice to see that there are a few of us around the North West too!

Afreshstartplease · 12/02/2016 18:31

Evening all

I have been sore and achey in my lower abdomen this afternoon but I know this is all normal

Ridiculously bloated again

Never bloated like this in previous pregnancies

Anyone else?

bananafish81 · 12/02/2016 18:39

Raises hands for the bloat!

The twice daily progesterone pessaries (aka messaries aka fanjo bullets) are pretty brutal for the bloat, so def not helping

Although nothing compares to the bloat while I was stimming - I blew up in the space of two days so I looked at least 4-5 months pregnant and couldn't wear any normal clothes!!

summeraupair · 12/02/2016 18:47

Definitely some bloat here too! I'm four weeks pregnant, surely this is too early to be so bloody constipated?!

...sorry, tmi Wink

LisaTheGreek · 12/02/2016 19:08

Sore and achy lower abdomen over here too, freshstart :(

And I'm so tired!

Reluctantnympho · 12/02/2016 19:08

Talking about tmi. I'm scared to go for a pooSad I'm worried if I squeeze I might cause a bleed (silly I know) no symptoms today. It seems to be every other day at the mo, but when I don't have any symptoms i'm a paranoid wreck Sad I wish these 12 weeks would fly by (but not the rest I want this pregnancy to last for a long time as it will be my last)

summeraupair · 12/02/2016 19:17

reluctant I think that might be part of my problem too, to be honest... I know it's crazy but I so, so want this to stick!!

Reluctantnympho · 12/02/2016 19:40

summer it's a stressful time isn't it? Sending sticky vibes to everyone for our little October babies Smile

thistlescot · 12/02/2016 21:03

Can I join? Etd 16th October had positive test on 3rd Feb will be nice to have some company while I wait for my booking in appointment with midwife on 10th March, still doesn't feel real had to do a clear blue digital dating test yesterday to try and put my mind at some sort of ease.

Keep reading about people having their progesterone tested and early scans and feel a bit like I'm missing out on something can someone tell me this is normal?? I hate feeling like I don't know what's going on and worry each time I go to the lol there might be blood but also seem to veer between worry and oh everything will be alright pragmatic etc.

Going back to read it the thread now!

Afreshstartplease · 12/02/2016 21:46

My achey-ness has gone now

Possibly as I've been home from work and taking it easy for a couple of hours

5 weeks tomorrow

I haven't made a mw appointment yet, should probably do that soon

Can't wait for sleep!

clank2 · 12/02/2016 21:51

Happy to have found this thread :) I think my due date is about 6th October. This will be my 4th child. I knew I was pregnant over a week before my period was due because of the absolute exhaustion I was feeling and tingly nipples. From the moment I knew that I was pregnant I have been so so bloated.... quite reassuring to know Im not the only one, seriously I have been looking 6 months gone. I know baby is only the size of a lentil, but somehow my jeans feel uncomfortable already. I had been feeling really nauseous, but that seems a lot better the last few days. I have got indigestion really bad already, but the worst thing by far is that I am so so itchy. Its driving me insane and I don't understand why I am so itchy!aaah! its giving me really bad anxiety!

Isn't it so weird how nothing happens at this stage. I have filled in the form for the midwife, and thats it...heard nothing back, and its 6 whole weeks until a scan....its gonna be a long 9 months! Anyway, I feel quite worried that Im going to be told Im too overweight for a home birth as my bmi is really high. I dont look as big as I am if that makes sense, and I am fit and eat healthily but I know tey go off your bmi. Im also pushing 40, so, who knows what they will make of that.

On a positive note...I've been feeling loads of energy today, so pretty happy about that!

Hope you're all feeling good! :)

annareeeee · 13/02/2016 01:31

Hello all! New to this and 6 weeks 6 days now, due 3rd October. Second baby, 1st DD is 16, so rather unexpected and feel like I have forgotten everything! Been feeling dreadful with tiredness and nausea, but worried when it goes away, it's a constant worry at this stage I think plus much older this time around. Thanks all who post, it's very reassuring Smile

Allhallowseve · 13/02/2016 05:44

wetsnow · 13/02/2016 05:49
