Wow! First here. Well actually mine #2 is due 30th Sept by dates but as DD was 10d late I guess Oct is the place to be. I was in Oct 14 so Oct 16 seems to be the right place to be. Anyone else?

Ladycrazycat · 11/02/2016 14:59

mrsamericAn As it happens, I read this morning that fainting is quite common in pregnancy so I guess it's normal. I hope you feel better.

I feel awful today! This morning I was ok then as my tube started to move I felt queeZy. I must have looked bad because I lovely woman started fussing over me and offering me her orange juice.

I felt ok most of the morning but the last hour I've felt so queezy again. I'm not actually being sick but just feel so nauseous.

Also before I knew I was pregnant, shortly after I would have conceived, I said to husband on two seperate occasions that my tummy felt weird. I couldn't explain it to him at the time. I got it again yesterday. It was almost like my abdomen felt tingly/numb but from the inside rather than out if that makes sense. Has anyone else had that?

I have my booking appointment tomorrow which is exciting. DH is coming too and he's really excited!

Northernlight22 · 11/02/2016 15:00

Gosh mrsamerica, take care X

I'm so bloated today.... Feel huge already!

MrsPickwick · 11/02/2016 15:17

Hello all, I've been stalking for a while Smile I've been TTC for three years, and had a failed IVF last year, but found out last week that I'm pregnant! I'd been so convinced it would never happen, so 'massive shock' is an understatement Grin

Anyway though, I feel like absolute DEATH, and have done since just before finding out. I think I'm 6+6 today. I'm starting to feel guilty because all the advice is to keep up with exercise, and I'm barely able to leave my bed. Is anyone else basically dying?!

A few weeks ago, I was running, swimming, or roller skating every day. Now I sleep three times a day, have a horrendous cold, and am basically so rough and exhausted that in the last ten days I've been for a total of one gentle walk. Is it supposed to be this bad?!

SmwarbFirst · 11/02/2016 15:32

Hi all , new to this although I have been stalking the thread :). Just over a week ago got a BFP went on to do 5 tests to make sure !!! Lol EDD early October (not been for a scan or MW App yet tho) started off with real bad bloating and cramping put it down to implantation, the bloating continued up until few days ago then the sore boobs started my god speed bumps are a nightmare lol but since yesterday I've had like a really light brown beige colour on the tissue when I wipe myself after being for a wee. Since this is my first pregnancy im worried like is this normal ??? Thanks in advance guys.

missybct · 11/02/2016 16:07

Afternoon all - christ this moves quickly - I checked in after posting my scan photo and another 5 pages has passed!

Sorry for all those poor symptoms - mrsamerican yep I've heard dizziness and fainting isn't unusual - I believe the increase in progesterone relaxes the blood vessels. I imagine it's also something to do with the increase of blood flow elsewhere in the body and if you're having morning sickness, a possible lack of sugar. I had my BP taken in OB ward the other day and threw back a reading of 90/49 Shock - I always run low in BP's but that's a new low!

I read that drinking up to double what you'd usually consume may help, and like they advise those with high BP to avoid salt, if you are feeling faint, try salty snacks. I've craved savoury, salty foods throughout the pregnancy so far, which is indicative to me that I'm probably running a low blood pressure. It's making me feel vile to be honest, like a weird kind of hangover - all foggy headed and sicky.

Ah, 6 weeks 4 days. Still not back at work, should have gone in today but feel vile. Managed to go out on a walk with DP for a bit, I've had a lot of cramping still (and the beautifully termed 'fanny daggers') and my lower back is really tight. No more blood, which is a relief. I was getting in a right tizz this morning because I didn't feel I had many symptoms, and in the last 2 hours woosh, I'm feeling gaggy, achy, tired, crampy, dizzy and generally just rough - that's the best way I can explain it - rough!

Hoping to make it into work tomorrow. When I was off, I had to tell my manager about the little shrimp I'm cooking, so when I see her properly it'll be the first "face to face" announcement. We were hoping to leave it until 12 weeks (we work at same company) but my company allow any absence during pregnancy to be paid, whereas a normal absence is unpaid if you've exceeding 10 days of sickness within the year (I had 2 weeks off in July for serious infection).

wondermoose · 11/02/2016 16:51

missy that doesn't sound fun, hope you feel better soon!
I keep convincing myself I have listeriosis🙈 I've had an upset stomach for 4 days and felt shivery all the time
Nothing like a bit of being over dramatic to stress you out!

MrBensMrs · 11/02/2016 17:10

Hey mrsPickwick I feel like crap, not nauseous but full of a virus, hot, snotty, achy! Reckon that pregnancy means it's taking a lot longer to shift! So have stopped any kind of exercise for weeks - feel uff cause I also CANT STOP EATING! Hope you feel better soon!

smwarb hello! Sorry not had that symptom, maybe worth asking the midwife or doctor?

missy Hope you feel better soon and good news re sick pay! Always nice to know!!

What's listeriosis??

Afreshstartplease · 11/02/2016 18:06

4+5 today

So bloated it's unreal by bedtime I look five months gone!

Anyone on DC4 or more? Wondering if I will show much earlier this time as feel like I will

Figgygal · 11/02/2016 18:31

Mrspickwick that's amazing!! Congratulations!!

Mrsbens I'm feeling like utter shite too full of cold took some paracetamol as midwife said it was ok to do so

fish88 · 11/02/2016 18:49

6+4 today (I think!). The nausea is just starting to kick in. I'm a teacher and we were on a trip today. 1 hour on the minibus Envy I told everyone I get travel sick and wore sea bands. They seemed to help but may just have been mind over matter. I never throw up but was nauseous from weeks 7 to 11 last time.

MrBensMrs · 11/02/2016 18:52

figgy snap, paracetamol and some Sainsburys own cough medicine which is glycerin, lemon and sugar I think - it sucks as its been over a week and it won't budge!! Hope you feel better soon too!
It would be nice to know what's the virus and what's pregnancy related symptoms!

Oh today - my boobs felt like they had electricity pulsing in them, like I could flash lightening out of my nipples as my super power!! Ouch!

wondermoose · 11/02/2016 20:06

mrbensmrs haha sorry it's from listeria bacteria in food and other sources, in normal healthy people you get mild flu like illness and an upset stomach but it can cause miscarriage/still birth in pregnancy, it's why you are told to avoid brie/Stilton etc, it's quite rare tho,

kittyvet · 11/02/2016 20:16

Wow 5 pages since I lasted checked in! Feeling awful, permanently nauseous and weak. Roll on 2nd trimester!

Blueskygirl30 · 11/02/2016 20:51

Hmmm, so I'm 5+5 today and have just got light red bleeding, trying to not panic but am getting worried. I've got a scan booked in on Monday, should I just wait for that or call the EPU or MW tomorrow?

wondermoose · 11/02/2016 21:04

bluesky I hope all is OK, I'd ring them just to see what they think, they may well say to wait for the scan but it's not worth you being a nervous wreck all weekend

Reluctantnympho · 11/02/2016 21:26

Boobs hurt so much today, it's like someone has sliced my nipples off and just left a raw open wound!Shock

IndiX · 11/02/2016 22:21

I feel your pain reluctant! Mine have been agony the whole daySad
Blue I agree, maybe get in touch with your MW tomorrow just for reassurance. I'm sure you'll be fine but it's good just to check for your own peace of mind X

Afreshstartplease · 11/02/2016 22:22

My boob's have calmed down ATM

Felt sick again this morning and again this evening too

No insomnia here

I have three DC and a full time job, I could sleep for weeks

Lollieoftheflowera · 11/02/2016 22:26

reluctantnympho mine too. I'm trying not to make too much of a fuss to dh though. I feel like he doesn't get my pain if you know what I mean. I'm all 😢 and he's all 😍. Hoping this'll be gone soon though. I seem to remember it's a symptom of early pregnancy?

How are any of the teachers on here coping with morning sickness at school? I was so close to throwing up during tutorial this morning but I haven't even told my own children (one of who attends the school) that I'm pregnant. Really don't want to announce it to my students this early! Any good tips?

Gigglebert · 12/02/2016 06:08

6w today... :)

Cute story from yesterday morning with my 27month daughter: lying on her bed with her cuddled into me (waiting for the sun to wake up on her gro clock) and she was rubbing my tummy...

"Mummy your tummy is very warm... You have a baby in it like my Auntie Nicola...??!"

I said no as clearly a two year old would be the worst secret keeper ever and I'm scared something might go wrong but asked if she would like that...

"Yes mummy, I have a baby sister to cuddle"

Struggled to hold back the tears! She is a very smart little cookie but hadn't realised quite how perceptive she is! She will make a wonderful big sister! :)

Afreshstartplease · 12/02/2016 06:19

That is cute giggle

My dd is 34 months, lots of her friends mums have just had babies so it's a big thing with them all

Dd spends lots of time with stuffed animals up her top, pulling them out and exclaiming "its a giraffe" etc

Afreshstartplease · 12/02/2016 06:23

I feel rough this morning and I'm scared to get up incase I be sick Sad

Havetobecrazytolivehere · 12/02/2016 06:56

Hi everyone, wow this thread moves fast. Was trying to catch up but have fallen behind, again. I'm 5+5 today seems to have taken ages to get here. No symptoms today but am getting insomnia in the early hours, I have always had it anyway as I am quite an anxious sleeper. Hello fresh I am pg with dc4, totally terrified about coping and what everyone will say but had a mc last year so keeping it very quiet at the moment. smwarb brown blood is old blood so it could be implantation bleeding or just things settling in, keep an eye on it and maybe call your go if you are worried.

SimileMilly · 12/02/2016 06:59

Id maybe just get checked out bluesky to save you worrying all weekend.

This thread is moving so fast!!

I had a lot of cramping last night and woke up with no symptoms (although at 4am so I guess that's a symptom in itself?). Cramping still there but a lot milder and I just feel sick now. I hate the not knowing.
