Eastend just spotted I somehow cut off the end of what I was going to say... I reckon it's surely really important too to just get some sleep, however that happens! I'm sure our bodies are pretty good at self-regulating, so I'd think I'd wake up/move position in my sleep if things were being squished. My bump is small still too, so perhaps when we're massive it'll be more important to be mindful. Having said that, I've got a pregnancy pillow to stop me rolling on my back so much, though I do sometimes get fed up of being on my left side, sling the pillow out and enjoy some time on my back and right side Smile

Eastend2015 · 20/01/2016 08:38

Mollie Lol! DH was tasked with being the "pregnancy pillow" last night and keep me on my side. I don't feel nauseous today and have done the last few days so maybe there is something in it!

Belleboo23 · 20/01/2016 10:07

Good luck to all today's scans!!

I've got my private gender scan at 6 counting down the hours. Kids can't wait either but one of them will be disappointed .... just hope they don't start fighting in there!! 😂

bikingintherain · 20/01/2016 10:27

Trying to potty train DS who is now 3. I'm so keen that he is out of nappies by the time baby comes.

We tried at the end of the summer and it was a disaster. This time I'm trying to be so chilled out so I don't put pressure on him. He is perfectly capable of weeing in a toilet, holding his wee etc, he is dry at preschool but just can't be arsed at home!

mrsmugoo · 20/01/2016 10:36

Baby girl all healthy at 20 week scan today - she even gave us a wave!

Eastend2015 · 20/01/2016 11:13

Ahh, lovely Mrsmugoo, congratulations! I have taken the leap and booked a John Lewis nursery appointment for a couple of weeks time. DH has given me a gentle telling off for being so negative and has also said he is keen to go to the Baby Show for research (I normally hate those kind of things). Now I just need my own scan to go well and I can start getting excited!

LouLou030783 · 20/01/2016 11:37

Brill Mrs mugoo amazing difference between 12&20 weeks x

laughingGnomette · 20/01/2016 11:55

belevdere - no, I haven't started looking at them yet, have you? I think I might pop to a sling library in a couple of months.

biking - my sympathies! We had the same problem with DS - great at nursery but lazy at home! We just kept reminding him and he got there in the end.

Congratulations mrsmugoo!!

I seem to be getting cold after cold, I'm so fed up. I also had a call from DS's nursery warning me that there is a case of slapped cheek in his room and to keep an eye on myself and DS. :(

mrsmugoo · 20/01/2016 11:59

Can someone remind me who it is in charge of the FB group?

LouLou030783 · 20/01/2016 12:12

emma85x · 20/01/2016 14:53

Huge congratulations to biffleroo and mrsmugoo!! Gorgeous scans and both girls! Congratulations to you both.

TBH I'm feeling a bit down today. I'm 19 weeks and still another 2 weeks to go until my scan. It feels like forever since the 12w scan and I'm desperate to know everything is ok. No flutterings here and I feel like the only one. I'm just feeling so down. I ordered a doppler today (Amazon do same day delivery) and it should arrive tonight. Hopefully it will work, I'll hear baby and I'll relax a bit. Sorry for the moan ladies.

LaPharisienne · 20/01/2016 15:00

Emma85 no flutterings here either and I'm 18 weeks, if that makes you feel better!

Is anyone here in SE London?

Belleboo23 · 20/01/2016 15:18

Emma I felt nothing with my first until 20 weeks this is my 3rd and I'm 18+1 still nothing when they say you feel them earlier the more kids you have! Not me lol, I have a doppler that puts my mind at ease all sounds ok in there!

emma85x · 20/01/2016 16:41

Thanks ladies. I appreciate it - just feeling low today. Basically in desperate need of reassurance. At work marking A Level mock exams.. not helping! Going to go home and patiently await the arrival of the doppler. Fingers crossed! Will keep you wonderful ladies posted.

Violet88 · 20/01/2016 16:47

Emma none here either at 19+5. x

bikingintherain · 20/01/2016 17:01

laughing it's not much fun is it! He got so stressed about it he didn't poo for a week. Bribing doesn't work, I think it's going to be a long road! A girl was so much easier!

Spock27 · 20/01/2016 17:19

Well after wiggling my hips, lying on my left side, then on my right, then on my left almost on my front, jumping up and down, going up and down three flights of stairs, repeating wiggling and turning over then walking round the hospital and some final wiggling, we managed to see the heart. Which was the last thing to be measured, and thankfully all is well. But despite all that moving we still couldn't see the sex, so we're team yellow Hmm at least it's healthy, but what a stubborn baby I have!

GrubbyWindows · 20/01/2016 17:49

Me LaPh! There must be more SE Londoners too?

LaPharisienne · 20/01/2016 17:51

I would be surprised if it's just me and you, grubby but maybe SE London has been crossing it's legs Wink

LaPharisienne · 20/01/2016 17:52
