I am too Emma and was panicking too but there was a thread about it on the pregnancy board last week and loads of people have it! I'm wearing panty liners and changing them regularly.

strawberrypenguin · 03/02/2016 08:10

I have a fair amount of discharge in the morning emma (although I don't feel like I need a pad) then it seems to slow/stop in the afternoon. I don't remember it being as much last time but then this pg has felt different in other ways too. It's normal - something to do with the mucus plug replenishing itself I think. You'd know if it was an amino leak I think, it would smell different.

mrsmugoo · 03/02/2016 08:42

The mucous! Yes it's gross, more this time then I remember last time. But healthy, so just another gross, undignified thing about being pregnant!

LouLou030783 · 03/02/2016 09:29

They don't tell u all the horrible side effects of pregnancy do they Hmm the constipation the haemarrohoids the list is endless tbh lol

Klaptrap · 03/02/2016 10:04

I am struggling to keep up with this thread - but I've asked to join the Facebook group. I'm already on one private facebook pregnancy group and I find it really helpful.

20 week scan went really well, baby bits are all present and correct. We have stayed team yellow too. Smile

nehagarg · 03/02/2016 11:52

I have some discharge every day too Emma. Never thought I'd miss the days when I had to wear liners/pads/tampons only 5 days a month. Now I am in a liner, every day. Confused

Definitely double check with the sonographer but I have had clear liquid discharge a few times too (that even smelt sweet) but the amniotic fluid was unaffected. Its just another joy of pregnancy.

Loving all the lovely scan news. Smile .. My growth scan is on Monday. Can't wait.

Took a day off yesterday to relax at home but ended up burning my hand. Second stupid incident after I wore 2 earrings in one ear for a whole day without realising. DH is convinced that I cannot be trusted alone anymore.

I have been having lots of pressure down below and finding it difficult to turn in bed. I had very bad SPD with my first and I think its returning

laughingGnomette · 03/02/2016 18:40

clarish84 - wonderful news!

nehagarg - doh! I just bought mine last night! Haha!

laughingGnomette · 03/02/2016 18:49

Oh and a big 'THANK YOU' to the rude lady that refused to make room for me when I was trying to get off the overground train this evening. It was LOVELY having to squeeze myself, my bump and my three year old past your lazy self!! AngryAngry

Eastend2015 · 03/02/2016 19:07

Gnomette yup had exactly the same experience tonight- some people!?

Eastend2015 · 03/02/2016 19:08

Congrats Clarish!

emma85x · 03/02/2016 19:09

Congratulations on your scans klaptrap and Clarish so glad they went well.

Thank you for your feedback on the cm. Reassuring. Will also check amniotic fluid levels with Sonographer tomorrow.

I can't believe that I've been desperately waiting for my scan (21 weeks now) and now it's tomorrow I'm really really nervous. Fortunately it's at 8:30am so no waiting around! Keeping everything crossed! We will also be finding out the sex so I'll let you know. Anyone else have their scan tomorrow?

laughingGnomette · 03/02/2016 19:28

Eastend - grr! I asked her "excuse me please" politely and she said "there's enough room"!!
Sympathies that you had to go through similar.
emma - yay! Not long now!!

earlgreydrinker · 03/02/2016 20:21

Good luck for tomorrow emma

Osirus · 03/02/2016 22:17

Good luck with your scan tomorrow emma. I've had the pants issue too but my amniotic fluid was fine on scan. It's just one of those we have to put up with I think!

I forgot to say when I had my scan on 28th Jan that we stuck by our decision not to find out the sex so we are still Team Yellow. I'm so glad we didn't and I'm really looking forward to the surprise! I also forgot to add a picture, so here it is.

strawberrypenguin · 03/02/2016 22:23

Good luck for scans tomorrow.
Not sure if someone's already posted about this or not but I picked up a tommee tippee microwave sterelizer half price in tesco today - £10.50 which is a great price. Wouldn't have been without our microwave sterelizer first time so just in case we end up ff again it seemed like a good deal!

17caterpillars1mouse · 04/02/2016 03:52

Eurgh after a week and a half of reduced sickness but not actually being sick, it is now back as of this morning. Hoping it was a one off

emma85x · 04/02/2016 06:15

caterpillars so sorry you're still suffering with sickness. Maybe time to return to the GP? Hope you feel better soon. Thinking of you.

Osirus Gorgeous scan photo! Congratulations.

Slept awfully last night, worrying about this morning's scan. Bloodshot eyes this morning! Maybe it's good practice for when baby comes?! Thanks for your good wishes. 2 hours to go. I'll keep you posted. Have a lovely day everyone.

nehagarg · 04/02/2016 07:07

Good luck emma. Brilliant that you have it in the morning. The wait through half a day is terrible.

Been up since 4 AM. Tossed and turned and got irrationaly angry at not being able to go back to sleep and finally gave up a half hour ago and made myself some breakfast.

Feel better soon caterpillars! I hope it ends for good soon.
