Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 43rd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 42nd grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 56th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

corgi88 · 22/12/2015 18:39

What a beautiful chunk molly! Congratulations! pud you're up next, get bouncing and chili-eating!! Xx

YogaPants · 22/12/2015 19:01

Yay Molly, congratulations! Glad to hear the birth went well. Enjoy your snuggles.

Hobbit19 · 22/12/2015 19:07

Molly, he is absolutely gorgeous!! So, so happy for you!

Ha ha Pretzel, shall we start singing Away in a Manger?!

Had a vindaloo for tea. I know I like spicy food but it wasn't even that hot. FFS what have you got to do to evict a baby around here?! Grin Sweep from the midwife tomorrow so it will be interesting to see what the old cervix is up to. DH'S lovely but slightly eccentric cousin has consulted her astrological charts and has predicted a Christmas Day baby!!

honeysucklejasmine · 22/12/2015 19:10

Pud get some econa hot pepper sauce. And eat a tablespoon of it. That stuff burns.

jellypi3 · 22/12/2015 19:14

Has anyone started their perenial exercises yet? I feel a bit awkward about them.

honeysucklejasmine · 22/12/2015 20:00

No Jelly. When are you supposed to?

CarrotPuff · 22/12/2015 20:03

Didn't do it last time and not going to this time either. I doubt you can get it to stretch the way epi-no does...

ThursdayLastWeek · 22/12/2015 20:05

What carrot said
Though I'm not sure I really know what you should do anyway Confused
Happy to stay ignorant on that one!

34 weeks honey apparently.

And we did it once and it made me feel so awkward. Might tell dp I don't want to do them (he's the one urging me to do them)

Hobbit19 · 22/12/2015 20:30

Can you do it yourself Jelly or does the bump get in the way?

honeysucklejasmine · 22/12/2015 20:38

It really doesn't appeal, but neither does tearing.

Difficult.

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 22/12/2015 20:41

Molly - That is absolutely FANTASTIC news!! I am so happy for you!! Also so utterly relieved and happy that you got the birth you wanted. A huge congratulations!

jelly what are perineal exercises?? Do you mean like the "massage" thing some people do (which I totally don't understand either) ? I had no idea they were things you were supposed to do with a partner. Er....no thanks!!

I really wish I could have used an epi no, but the cost was just way too much.

yorkshire could you try invoking law of sod, and hoping that the baby comes after christmas?

CarrotPuff · 22/12/2015 20:50

Thursday I think it's quite irrelevant to you as you're having a CS anyway Wink (How do you do Santa hat smileys?)

I'm a bit on the fence re epi-no. I didn't tear with DS, but I don't know if that's because of his good positioning and small head, or I just have a stretchy vagina? I'm quite tempted to just try my luck again!

I'm shattered today. Don't know why, I didn't sleep too badly (except 5.30 start from DS), but I was struggling to keep my eyes open at work!

lildottie · 22/12/2015 21:03

Just googled perineal exercises. What's wrong with sticking a finger in your fanjo? Sure you all did it to find your pant snot! ;) I really need to start my pelvic floor exercises. Apps recommendations for android please

jellypi3 · 22/12/2015 21:11

pud No way could I do it myself I'm struggling to wipe my own arse at the moment

gouda you don't have to do it with a partner it's just easier if your bump is big and in the way.

I want to do them to prevent tearing but honesty having DP down there stretching the skin was just weird. It also made me freak about a bit because it was quite painful and birth is gonna be 100 times worse.

I am regretting not getting the epi-no. I know it's not too late.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 22/12/2015 21:11

Hooray for MollysChunkyMonkey!

pud I too have a woo feeling about christmaspud coming on actual Christmas. You really should bunk in with pretz and go the full monty on this whole holiday theme Xmas Grin

NFMD (news from my drama) is that DP and I had a long heart to heart today. He insists he is very sorry for the way things turned out and promises that next time DSD will be told she has to do as she is asked. I was dreading hearing what DSDs mum would have to say about my meltdown over it but funnily enough she said that she would have been angry and shouty too and agreed with me that DSD was just being a bit of a brat Xmas Shock I thought for sure me saying that would have caused World War 3... it is a bloody Christmas miracle.

I had a nice long nap and then agreed to go home... tomorrow. I need just one more night in my friends big, beautiful, tidy, silent house... DD and I are sharing a giant feather bed and she is just so cuddly and it is nice just the two of us...

I managed a trip into town and bought DD and DSD a £50 gift card each for Build a Bear Workshop from my Dad, who lives abroad so sends cash every year. A bit excessive but they will love it guilty mummy buys slighty extravagant presents

Hope you all had a good day FlowersCakeChocolate

jellypi3 · 22/12/2015 21:12

lil the fingerings bit didn't bother me. It was the feeling of stretching that was weird. Plus DP was way to insistent about it. I'm sure he got a cheap thrill from it.

KateBeckett · 22/12/2015 21:13

Do I need to take pre to the scan tomorrow? And anything g I should wear/avoid wearing?

Am deflecting my anxiety... Ha!

KateBeckett · 22/12/2015 21:13

Pee not pre!

jellypi3 · 22/12/2015 21:23

I've just done my 4th poo of the day! What the shit is going on with my digestive system!

corgi88 · 22/12/2015 21:25

Kate good luck! You don't need pee, just a full bladder. Just don't wear a dress as they put your top up and tuck tissues in your waistband when they put the jelly on your tummy. Exciting! Gx. I still don't have a date for mine.

Viroids, just realised you are the best people to ask advice for about my dilemma! So dh and I got 2 lodgers when we moved into our house, as both of us had been living with people before and didn't fancy rattling around in an empty house. So my friend from uni and dh's friend live with us. It's worked really well for the last 2 years and gives us a lot of financial leeway as we don't have to worry about mortgage.

However, I'd always assumed that once I got upduffed we would kick them out (nicely obvs). But dh (and also bizarrely my parents) have said it seems a shame to do that as we will have 3 empty rooms, esp if baby spends the first 6months in our room anyway. Plus financially it will be a lot easier esp on maternity pay. (I'm the main breadwinner currently.) I'm just worried about all the parenting stuff eg breastfeeding, baby crying, etc being hard enough without an audience!

Just wondering what you guys think especially as some of you have done this parenting/new baby malarkey already. Dh and I aren't arguing about it or anything, and he's said he's happy to go with whatever I think. Just wondering if my fears are irrational or if I'm just overthinking it all.

Nfmw (womble): 9+3 today! Saw midwife for booking yesterday, very exciting! Also had to buy a 32e bra. Norks going bonkers.

lildottie · 22/12/2015 21:30

Corgi I'd want my space! But I'm a hermit.

jelly perhaps you've gone too fast too soon if its that painful. Dh and I used to have to do pretty much that to have sex for a while. Just tell him to be a bit more gentle and stay where he is when you say stop. You wouldn't go to the gym and start on the highest weights.
