Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 43rd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 42nd grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 56th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

It rocks.

Now then. About five hours ago, I said to DH "oh! Don't forget we need to take x with us tomorrow"

Can I remember what x was? Can I fuck. DH not well so he probably won't remember either. Grr.

5hell · 24/12/2015 05:31

Towels honey ?? obsessed

Another crap night here too jel :(
Think some blame has to go to massive dinner we had out with friends last night...spent several hrs awake feeling sick n worried I'd got food poisoning, but think it was just greediness. Plus generally can't get comfy,so have finally given to phone for ent.

I don't think I'll be doing many of the 6+ hrs of driving we have ahead of us Xmas Sad

honeysucklejasmine · 24/12/2015 05:51

No, not towels. Wink Its annoying because I remember thinking "phew! Glad I remembered!" Angry

fruitlovingmonkey · 24/12/2015 06:36

Oh no Honey that's the worst. I put a mystery object by the door in the spare room so that I'd remember to take it. I forgot it and have no idea what it was!
Hope your DH recovers for the big day.
Did you get your towels in the end Shell?

SecondCupOfTea · 24/12/2015 06:57

Fucking cat has brought in a fucking mouse from outside to 'play with'. I could hear them both meowing away in the living room (the two cats that is, not the cat and the mouse). The problem is, one cat is almost blind and the other is stupid so they've lost the mouse. Even when I put them in front of it they don't spot it. It's like Tom and Jerry with Mr Magoo thrown in.

Anyhow, I've made a cup of tea and got back in bed. No doubt (as always) I'll have to kill the mouse myself later.

Grrrrrrr!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 24/12/2015 07:19

I am up before the kids. Trying to decide whether or not to go back to sleep... excited for them to open presents. Oh! And my DB's GF is in labour! She has been for like 4 days poor lamb. Hope my little niece comes out soon! Xmas Wink

pretzelpieces · 24/12/2015 07:26

4 days, sky! Dear god. I, too, am awake and can't go back to sleep. My brain is all "it's Christmas eve! You get to visit and cuddle your dog today!" Xmas Hmm #bigkid

Also my hips are still playing silly buggers despite reuniting with Pablo.

ThursdayLastWeek · 24/12/2015 07:31

I'm awake before everyone else too. Good luck to your sort of SIL sky, I actually can't enjoy knowing when people are in labour anymore, I'm just happy to see the cute pic at the end!

Fucking cats indeed tea

Oh no honey I wonder if you'll remember? A present for someone? Hair straighteners?

I thought I was having my first bout of pregsomnia proper last night jelly, but then next thing I knew it was morning. So I guess not. Having a toddler really helps, I'm sure I slept much worse than this last time Confused

Today I need to clean/tidy upstairs and the living room. Prep sprouts. Write a couple more cards. And cook meat, which the butcher should deliver around 2pm. And then it's CHRISTMAS!
I can't wait to see DS face when he's finally allowed to open his presents under the tree, he has really got into Xmas this year Xmas Smile

Hobbit19 · 24/12/2015 08:22

This might not be the same for everyone but my pregsomnia got much better in the last few weeks of pregnancy apart from having to wee every hour so there is hope! My ribs and hips have also been much better in the last 4 weeks (since being on mat leave), not sure if that is because I am resting more if if my body has done all of its stretching and therefore doesn't hurt so much; so hang in there!

Change of Xmas plans here, MIL now doing Xmas at her house so we can go there with SIL and family tomorrow which will be really nice. Only issue is we bought food from M&S as we thought we would be here with the baby.... so we are now going to have Christmas dinner today as well! WINNER!!! Grin

SecondCupOfTea · 24/12/2015 08:26

You can't complain about two Xmas dinners Pud Smile

Hobbit19 · 24/12/2015 08:33

Definitely no complaints from me! Nom nom nom.

Hobbit19 · 24/12/2015 08:34

Unfortunately though my weight gain chart stops at 40 weeks... so either I am supposed to stop putting on weight now.... or I can eat whatever the frick I want to make up for lack of baby. Let's go with the latter, woohoo!!

Peenut · 24/12/2015 08:51

So pleased for you Kate (PHEW! Xmas Grin ) and Feathered and ... sorry did I miss somebody else? Scan central! Boo to scrooge-like sonographer. Love the smiling picture! Um ... hedge my bets at girl?

It's actual Christmas Eve!! Currently in bed drinking tea like the queen while the cleaner cleans the house. I didn't anticipate the guilt that comes when lying in bed while somebody else cleans you house, I feel like I should go and help but am resisting the urge. (I did say she didn't have to come today but she said she didn't mind. It wasn't like Kermit the frog and Michael Caine in Muppet's Christmas Carol when he asks for Christmas day off or anything.)

Anyway, go for it Pud on the mulled wine/wine/gin front! I think tipples spaced out over the day when you are about to pop anyway must only have medicinal soothing effects on baby/you. (Disclaimer: I have a qualification in colouring-in not anything medical but it's just a hunch I have.)

I agree –if men did this preggo thing more research would surely be done into whether seemingly harmless things, like Olbas sodding Oil were actually harmful to an unborn child. I feel frustrated that everything is so vague and bossy. I obviously don't want to do anything to harm my unborn profiterole sized child, and am steering clear of all the contraband pregnancy items, but a lot of stuff just seems ridiculously overly cautious without any 'proper' explanation behind it. (Doctor said as much to me the other day).

Tea Oh no, mouse up for Christmas execution!

honeysucklejasmine · 24/12/2015 08:55

Glass jars! Glass jars to store the fat from the goose!

SecondCupOfTea · 24/12/2015 09:21

Nicely remembered Honey

Pud I'm fairly sure you've entered the eat-what-you-flipping-well-like stage. The only downside I can think of having two Xmas dinners, is that if you're digestion isn't on top form, and if you go into labour on Boxing Day, you could end up having a massive shit while trying to push the baby out! Grin

pretzelpieces · 24/12/2015 09:36

honey Xmas Grin glad you remembered! I hate that niggly 'I've forgotten something' feeling.

Congrats on two Christmas dinners pud!

KateBeckett · 24/12/2015 09:45

Thanks pee feels like a weight has been lifted. Can't stop looking at the pics! Bet you are very excited for yours, not long now!

Well remembered honey ! I would never have suggested glass jars...

pud I definitely think you can eat whatever the hell you want. It's only fair.

We had lots of fun telling our nearest and dearest yesterday after the scan. My oldest friend just kept saying 'bloody hell. BLOODY HELL!' Grin still haven't told my dad tho... Guess I'll have to do that today. Not really looking forward to it, as I'm not expecting a very positive reaction! I'll just have to bite the bullet. And I can always put the phone down if he starts being a twat right? Can't be doing with complicated family dramas Xmas Confused

Happy Christmas Eve!!!!!!

Mermaid36 · 24/12/2015 09:48

Morning lovelies!

I'm very envious of you all, I'm currently sat in the office until at least 3pm Sad

However, tonight we are off to tell my mum and sister about BabyMermaid, and will tell DH's family tomorrow when we see them fopr lunch....I can't bloody wait, keeping a secret like this has been excruciating!

ThursdayLastWeek · 24/12/2015 10:00

Glad to hear all the good scan news folks. And I vote boybee feathered

Merry Christmas eve viroids!

Hobbit19 · 24/12/2015 10:23

Ah Merry Christmas Eve my lovelies! And congrats to all those telling their families today/tomorrow, what a lovely time of year to do it! (Hope your Dad is not a twat Kate).

Ha ha Tea, the ginormous-two-christmas-dinner poo in the birthing pool situation did cross my mind, but I think it is worth the risk. Grin

Honey Christmas will be OVER if you didn't have your glass jars for goose fat! Wink

SecondCupOfTea · 24/12/2015 10:29

Oh no Thursday! That's not good news. Mine has been stretching gradually over the last few weeks, but mainly the top half of it. So it looks odd...but not as odd as it'll look if it sticks out Hmm

pud I think I'm more uncomfortable because she's breech, she's sitting higher and more across my hips than if she was head down?

thurs 'on the turn' Xmas Grin mine is massive now. Looks like my tummy has a nose. Xmas Blush
