Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 43rd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 42nd grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 56th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

DH also has a thing about paying someone to do things he can do. Great sometimes, but occasionally very frustrating.

5hell · 16/01/2016 13:13

sky we have to adapt, don't beat yourself up!

Moss cake is filled and topped with a simple cream cheese frosting - pics later.

Off for ickle baby cuddles, eek! Grin

honeysucklejasmine · 16/01/2016 13:37

Sky I refer you to my earlier advice to Thursday. Sit down and eat some chocolate. Hooyah.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 16/01/2016 14:28

That hooya gave me my first laugh of the day. I may have had a small tantrum after being awoken 20 minutes after falling asleep by DPs booming voice trying to coax the children out of the house for a playdate I have begged out of.

honeysucklejasmine · 16/01/2016 14:37

Do you and DH have DSD every weekend? Must be such fun for her and DD.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 16/01/2016 15:07

Every other weekend. They love being together and they are quite sweet but it can be a bit intense.

jellypi3 · 16/01/2016 15:41

Any news from gouda?

Peenut · 16/01/2016 16:56

Hi Viroids ...

Hope your shower was fun Honey, hope people were kind with their weight guesses - no ten pounder nonsense! Wink

Sky the home stretch towards mat leave! How long do you think you'll take off after? That question is to all the self employed ladies actually ...

I really don't know but need to give clients a rough idea, my agent (finds me work) who I told yesterday about my upduffed-ness told me to assume it's be a year and if I want to return before then I've got the option - I don't want to firmly say until I've had baby bean so saying the longest time is prob best. He was lovely actually and talked some sense into me!

Also ... Does anyone know why the deal is with mat allowance? Can you work a certain amount of hours after a few months and still claim it? I think I'll be eligible to claim it.

Thursday I did preggo yoga on weds for the first time - loved it but felt very un-pregnant compared to other ladies who were about to pop!
I'm finding running is pulling all sorts of odd muscles, my back this week.

Glad to hear you and baby are doing well Pud!

Moss cake sounds good 5hell! ... Or at least it will be iced! Cake

5hell · 16/01/2016 17:48

Moss cake - was delish, but not as a scrummy as friends new baby Grin

Er my friend who also has gestational diabetes and was a week ahead of me was induced this week and she had a 10lb 3oz baby. I am officially scared!!

honey sounds good. hope the baby estimates were nice and low for you.

sky you are not a failure! that is just a lot to do! hope things ease up soon and the next 3-10 weeks pass quickly for you.

pud so good to hear it is going well!

I think my bump has dropped. It feels very heavy, sore low down and sometimes pulling at the top too and something in my back clicks in and out when I walk. Hoping this all means progress.

jellypi3 · 16/01/2016 20:18

Wow that's a big baby! I hope this one isn't huge, I have a feeling she will be.

I've got that feeling again like ive pulled a muscle in my groin, only this time it's on the other side. Hurts like fuck. Im getting close to being done with being pregnant. I have loved most of it so far but never realised these final few weeks were so tiring, for all the wrong reasons! And if 1 more person says to me "the tiredness only gets worse when the baby is here" I think I'll kill them. I fucking know that but at least I'll have my baby with me!!

ThursdayLastWeek · 16/01/2016 20:39

Yeah the last few weeks are the worst jelly - I think that is what makes so many women so desperate to get the baby OUT and best laid birth plans go to fuck!

Hope you're feeling a bit more rested now sky

Well done for running still pee. It's totally beyond me now I think. I'm just gonna volunteer at parkrun for the next few weeks Smile

That cake looks quite terrifying 5hell but is like to try some!

I got stuck in the floor earlier - DH had to help me up because my tummy muscles just felt so weak and painful. And so it begins...

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 16/01/2016 20:51

Just because her baby was big pretz doesn't mean yours will be.

honey hope you had fun at your shower!

5hell that does indeed look like moss! Bet it was tasty though...

Thanks to all the viroids wishing me well. I do feel a bit better after a day of rest and a bit of restructuring of my plans.

pee I will probably have to start working a couple of days a week on a project from about June onwards. I own the agency and it will keep running during my mat leave so in a sense I won't ever be off completely, just not active on accounts. But I am the type who needs to be busy anyhow...

pretzelpieces · 16/01/2016 21:17

sky very true it is just the birth anxiety talking. Glad you're feeling a little better.

jelly ugh, it's so annoying isn't it. I was saying how I'm tired to someone and I know it's only going to get worse once she's here (in part to pre-empt that comment) and they actually said "yes, but then you'll at least have a baby to look at" and I was like ahh thank you for saying that.

Peenut · 16/01/2016 21:32

Blimey, that's a whopper pretz. Waving belated pom poms for your mate! I'm sure you will be absolutely fine - you'll be in good hands on the day Brew

Ouch, that's sounds painful Jelly ... Hang in there and no one would blame you for going ahead and killing the next person to say that sentence!

5hell - that cake is so ... Green! Must be healthy!

Thursday good idea to volunteer at parkrun! I might do that soon too.

Viroids ... I went to m and s to buy a new bra. Got measured and the woman somehow thinks I've gone from 34B to a 36 D!

D!!

I now have some terrifying looking non wired bras ... ConfusedConfusedHmm

ThursdayLastWeek · 16/01/2016 21:38

Gouda I hope you're ok over there

First stretch mark has arrived! At least my varicose vein isn't lonely anymore Hmm

honeysucklejasmine · 16/01/2016 22:12

It was amazing! Everyone was so generous. I am really quite overwhelmed! Will pop a pic on Facebook tomorrow.

pretzelpieces · 16/01/2016 22:36

Aw honey glad you had a good time. can't wait to see the loot

pee congrats on increased boobage Grin

sky sorry about the new tiger stripe. Have a Biscuit and a Brew

My friend says she only needed gas and air, didn't tear at all either. (Also it was her second baby.) Hopefully that makes the story a bit less scary. Oh and her baby was predicted by a growth scan that it would be over 10lbs.

LaLaLaaaa · 17/01/2016 06:41

Hey gals!

Popped in to see how you are and saw a couple of you are feeling a bit frustrated/tired and also getting a bit nervous.

Sending massive loads of moral support and hugs. Jelly the last few weeks are so utterly tiring and frustrating, you are entitled to feel impatient and knackered! Tell them to feck off and get comfy on the couch, bed or have a bath. Yes it's tiring when baby's here but you're right - it's a different sort of tiredness and it's more rewarding because you have a baby to show for it. Baby will be here soon and this annoying bit of pregnancy will fade to memory. I hope you don't have to wait too long xx

From someone who had a nearly 10lb baby - you'll be fine don't worry! It's probably not going to happen to you unless your family tends to have big babies? But even if it does you are a strong woman and you will get through it, same way we cope with everything else. The staff will look after you and get baby here safely x

Wafting lots of positive birthing vibes at you all!
