Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 41sr grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

Pretzel I am on two a day. Not bunged up but not exactly my regular schedule.

fruitlovingmonkey · 06/12/2015 12:49

Sorry for the viroids who slept badly. I've been ok so far, but I do need to get some more pillows to stop myself from rolling onto my back/ stomach.
Lil I obviously didn't want to ruin your post- scan ecstatic mood the other day, but I was wondering if this would happen. My scan euphoria lasted 2 or 3 days and then I was back to worrying. It's normal and the good news is time will speed up now and you don't have long until the first movements start. I felt flutters around 15 weeks, I wasn't sure then that it was the baby but now I know it was.

pretzelpieces · 06/12/2015 13:24

(I didn't feel movements until 21 weeks though!)

honey Ah I'm on 3/day and banned from chugging all the fruit cause of me blood sugars. Wondering when I'll (ever) poo again. #poowatch2015

lildottie · 06/12/2015 14:11

Omg we went in mothrtcare! #excited!

Tbh fruit I'm kinda expecting to be a nervous wreck until its born 30
Think things are stretching/moving around again ATM or I'm having a hormone surge or something as felt nauseous last night and been a bit crampy/tired again today

oneyorkshirepud · 06/12/2015 15:45

Hee hee I'm sniggering at #poowatch Pretzel, and I wish you luck! Can you take lactolose if you run in to difficulties?

Cramps are totally normal Lil, like you said everything is growing and stretching in there.

Just been for Sunday lunch with my bro which was ace. Now contemplating a second nap. Steady.

SecondCupOfTea · 06/12/2015 16:13

Nice big bowl of steamed sprouts should do the trick pretzel Wink

I adore sprouts Grin

Ooh! My bestie has been round with loads of baby stuff! We now have a moses basket, jumparoo, bouncer chair, rocking crib, baby bath, bumbo and a playmat thing...

God knows where we're going to put it, as we're still renovating, but it means we'll have to buy less stuff than we thought Grin

Trijo how did you get on at the gym? Thanks for telling me you bra tale - you inspired me to out my own on and do some exercise at home this afternoon.

MollyBloomYes · 06/12/2015 17:10

Ffs at hospital to be monitored, baby hasn't moved since this morning. Sure all is fine, it's done this before but best to get checked. At least I miss the witching hour that is my DS before dinner time! My poor dad!

oneyorkshirepud · 06/12/2015 17:25

Hope baby is just hiding Molly.

Good work on the baby stuff Mermaid!

Okay, so I know 'my body is amazing' and it has 'made a baby' and yada yada yada.... but I feel like a right fatty! I love the bump but whyTF do I need neck fat in order to grow a baby? FFS. Not that I should be cross really given all the chocolate food I have eaten whilst being upduffed. Looking forward to the baby coming so I can get fit again and feel like me! Gah! Rant over. Smile

ThursdayLastWeek · 06/12/2015 17:32

Gx for you Molly, glad you're in the right place.

pud I often find my fat-esteem is a bit in my head - is there any kind of exercise you could do to get a few endorphins flowing and help you feel better?

TriJo · 06/12/2015 17:42

Thursday it was pretty good! Did some strength training and 20 minutes on a very upright stationary bike, felt great afterwards :)

We won a Chicco Next2Me from Amazon on Friday on the wish list competition - absolutely chuffed :)

MollyBloomYes · 06/12/2015 17:43

Heart rate fine one or two great whacks against the monitor just waiting for dr to check me over as have been cramping. Can never quite get comfy with monitor on but still got twenty mins to go!

Pud my delightful double chin has made an appearance again. Bloody hate it not like I can disguise it with clever cuts of clothing!

oneyorkshirepud · 06/12/2015 17:51

Tri that is awesome!

Thurs I am still swimming a km or so a couple of times a week (very slowly!) Which I love but it is starting to wipe me out a bit now and I end up napping all afternoon afterwards!

ThursdayLastWeek · 06/12/2015 18:00

Glad all seems ok molly Smile

I know the feeling pud although I'm at the eat-it-all-back-immediately phase rather than sleep-it-off phase just yet! Swimming has always made me hungry though, and I swear they strategically locate fast food places nearby...

Well done Tri! I slacked off parkrun yesterday so I'm glad you motivated me to move this afternoon.

Mermaid36 · 06/12/2015 18:25

Well, since my bloody zumba instructor is in panto until January and I can't kickbox when preggers, I will have to get back into the pool next week. I was scheduled for a cold water competition in February but have obvs given my place away, need to schedule a couple of swims a week in at least. I'm sure that's why I feel so shit - I've gone from training 5 times a week to sitting on my arse...

SecondCupOfTea · 06/12/2015 18:39

Thursday I'm with you on the eating after swimming. Mind you, I do go before breakfast. Today I did 1km and then ate a bowl of porridge made with 6 (six) very heaped dessert spoons of porridge oats and could still have eaten more Shock

SecondCupOfTea · 06/12/2015 18:40

Oops, meant to add glad things are ok Molly

ThursdayLastWeek · 06/12/2015 19:05

I'd have to be zombie apocalypse hungry before I could eat that much porridge Tea! I can just about stomach a very very small bowl on a race day and that's it.

Does anyone have any experience of headaches in pregnancy? I've been having quite bad ones this weekend - they've been on the cusp of migraine, effecting my vision sporadically. I don't suffer from migraines regularly, have had a few in my life. Anyone have any reason why they might be bad now?

oneyorkshirepud · 06/12/2015 19:14

Thurs it is probably worth calling your mw, severe headaches with visual disturbances can be due to high BP. When did you last have your BP checked?

ThursdayLastWeek · 06/12/2015 19:16

On Wednesday and she said it was lovely and low... That's what's so confusing!
Thanks pud I'll call the team in the morning, get some advice.

MollyBloomYes · 06/12/2015 19:36

Thursday I had loads in first trimester, they went away around 16 weeks then came back around 20 weeks for a little bit. My
bp always fine (though do still get checked out) so was out down to hormonal fluctuations. Paracetamol and rest as much as possible. The cooling gel forehead strips are also a godsend just don't wear them in public or you'll look like you have a sanitary pad in your forehead and everyone will shoot pitying looks at the poor pregnant lady who has clearly lost her mind Wink

ThursdayLastWeek · 06/12/2015 19:47

Thanks molly, I've found a non-emergency number in my notes that I'll call in the morning just in case - they might have some advice for me. I did get high BP at the end of my pregnancy with DS so I'd rather be safe methinks.

Are you home now?

KateBeckett · 06/12/2015 19:55

Hi Viroids, fell off the Fred again Confused have been feeling quite melancholy so not felt like posting much... A mix of preggo hormones, tiredness and sick of being ill I think...

Really want to tell a few people new I am nearly 10w, but dp isn't keen to tell anyone until we have told family. We are telling them over Christmas when we see them in person, but I have a few friends I want to chat with now! Humph. It's his news too so I'm trying to respect his wishes, feeling a tad grump about it tho!

Got our letter for scan, it will be on Dec 23rd Starting to get scanziety already!!

molly hope everything is ok and baby is giving you a kicking Wink

Flowers to everyone feeling shite for whatever reason.

ThursdayLastWeek · 06/12/2015 19:58

Tell them Kate what he doesn't know won't hurt him.

I had to share much earlier with friends than I expected to want to, but it really helped having some real life ears to listen - as well as us of course Wink
