Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 41sr grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

I went to watch Star Wars last night and was pretty proud of myself for staying awake during the film...Confused

Sadly, when I got home I was struck by pregsomnia and have had 4hrs sleep Hmm

5hell · 19/12/2015 08:43

had a fun xmas do last night, didn't get home until 2pm Xmas Grin so feel proper hardcore, and surprisingly not too tired this morning although will probably nap later. food could have been better, but was quite fun watching others get twatted...cocktails are FAST acting!!

have a day to myself today as DH is attempting to become a Knight of Sufferlandria by doing 10 turbotraining vids on the trot, so he will be stuck in the cellar for 11ish hours, the crazy fool! raising money for Macmillan too.

xmas shopping to be done (eugh!) and dogs to be entertained

jellypi3 · 19/12/2015 08:51

Haha 5hell it wouldn't be the first time viroids have met lol! Good luck shopping today, isn't it meant to be the worst day for retail today?

Thanks for the arse rain.sympathy pee. We are meant to be heading off for a Toby carvery breakfast, not sure if I can manage it!

YogaPants · 19/12/2015 08:59

ill so sorry to hear your news. I hope you are able to have a relaxing break over Christmas and that you are able to fly out today.

Jelly sounds like you have a case of exported Montezuma's revenge. I think it is normal that you have to eat smaller meals as you get farther along because baby is taking up space your stomach would be normally.

I am was up with the other pregsomniacs this morning. 3-5 were catching up on mumsnet and creeping down to the kitchen for a midnight snack.

honeysucklejasmine · 19/12/2015 09:11

Jelly I have had a reduced appetite for months now. Certainly helping with my aim to not gain too much weight (4lbs so far). Also means we have agreed to skip starters at crimbo dinner this year - DBro eats small too and we want to be able to eat the main course in full so can't risk filling up on starters. For the first time in my life, I went out for dinner and did not eat it all! (Okay, so I wasn't a huge fan of the main and the salmon was underdone anyway, but I left behind cheesecake! Perfectly good cheesecake!)

SecondCupOfTea · 19/12/2015 09:14

Overnight I've had four wees and only as many hours of fitful sleep. Am lying on bed needing another wee drinking my second cup of tea of the day.

Need to get up, dye my roots, shower, then we're off for lunch with BIL and family.

Sorry to hear about arse rain jelly

Hobbit19 · 19/12/2015 11:02

Morning Viroids,

Sorry to hear that you have been feeling so poorly Ill, you must be shattered. I hope your flight back today is uneventful.

Sorry to all the pregsomniacs, we had a bit of an epic last night so I didn't sleep well either.

Baby had been quiet all day (not massively unusual) and I had done the OJ/lying down trick in the afternoon and baby moved enough for me to carry on with my day. However, after dinner baby wasn't moving (very unusual) and I did an hour and a half of drinking/eating sweet and fizzy things, lying down, poking the baby, wiggling the bump etc and got nothing. I have been worried about movements lots of times before but have always been able to get baby to move. So basically I was absolutely bricking it and called the MLU who told us to go in for monitoring. Obviously as soon as we got there baby starting having a rave (phew!). They put me on the monitor anyway and the MW was so so nice and took the time to explain everything to us and showed is that baby was v healthy.

My braxton hicks were showing up on the monitor too and the MW asked me if I could feel them. I replied 'Yes, but it's not very strong, I can only feel it in my head, not in my stomach'. I presumed that everyone got like a head rush with BHs but the MW had never heard of this before! She thought it was fascinating!

Anyway, so baby is totally fine but I was a bit shaken by the whole thing and didn't sleep. I was also really hungry so got up for breakfast at 3am!

Apologies for the epic post but needed to write it down. Hopefully we will be going back to the MLU soon in the actual labour!!

Pud candy glad to hear you're both ok after medical trips. Have Pom poms at the ready for when the time comes!

Ill sorry to hear you've had more drama. Hope being home for Xmas means lots of spoils and treats and a bit of a break for you.

It's funny to read all your ramen and gyoza fantasies - I'm in the Japanese area of Bangkok and I get similarly salivatory over toasted cheese and ham sandwiches!

5hell · 19/12/2015 11:45

no apologies needed pud ...glad to hear monitoring/MLU spooked xmaspud into wriggling, sorry you had the worry

just waiting to feed dh mid way through his challenge then i'll be out to shop, face the post office and pick up new slings too! Xmas Grin

Hobbit19 · 19/12/2015 12:10

pokes head in and waves

Still lurking... glad everyone is ok. Up to my elf ears in Xmas prep and DD is poorly. Her father has come to hang out with her so I can finish off my work and get a nap in as seeing family tomorrow. They are in town for a day and are meeting DP and DSD for the first time. Excited! Just praying I am not up all night with fever like DD was last night...

Mermaid36 · 19/12/2015 14:55

Afternoon Viroids!

Have actually done some xmas shopping today with DH....still not sure whether we're putting a tree up yet, mainly cos we CBA!!

Had lovely nausea looking round the supermarket today, was supposed to be getting stuff for a cheese board but couldn't face the cheese aisle cos I was heaving so much!!

pretzelpieces · 19/12/2015 18:54

Gosh pud, sounds scary. Excellent news that baby is healthy though. GX you are there for the labour soon! Xmas Smile

We've been non stop so I haven't been on here as much. Up north for DP's grandad's funeral yesterday and going back up there tomorrow. My hips and back are obviously loving all the time in the car Xmas Hmm

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 19/12/2015 20:07

Officially on #poowatch2015 Xmas Envy

5hell · 19/12/2015 20:39

Heartburn...say no more :(

Good luck sky

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 19/12/2015 20:49

Word to the wise. Don't by the Sainsbury's own brand gaviscon stuff. Blech

Discofairypants · 19/12/2015 21:06

Heartburn ... I feel your pain ... Literally! Double action gaviscon works a treat though.

honeysucklejasmine · 19/12/2015 22:25

I still find Rennie good.

Sky I am no longer on #poowatch2015 so you have my commiserations. I guess my body is now used to the extra iron and is coping marvellously.

Must remember to put my prescriptions in before Christmas so they are ready to collect afterwards.

This week I will be making bread sauce, cranberry sauce, stuffing and rum and raisin fudge. I have written my shopping list. Just need to brave a supermarket now. And get confirmation from dbro as to who is doing pigs in blankets! Have some red cabbage in the freezer already, and need to get some malbec wine for DBro's FIL. Argh!

Hobbit19 · 19/12/2015 23:15

Mmmmm, your Xmas dinner sounds delicious Honey, are you hosting for everyone?

Joining you on #poowatch2015 Sky. I have literally pooed every day since being upduffed, this is a novelty for me as I normally have IBS of the non productive variety. But today.... no poo! Weird. I will be sure to keep you all up dated though Grin

May the fibre be with you sky. Heartburn remedies often cause constipation.

Did some terrible farts round marks and spencer today. There should be a Christmas emoji that's just a sprout in a santa hat.

pretzelpieces · 19/12/2015 23:28

Does anyone else get pains in their urethra when the baby moves? Sort of like cystitis but it's not. Ouch.

Niffertiti · 20/12/2015 04:13

Pretzel yes. She roots around down there and it gets stingy. Mean baby.

I think JC is doing a baby... I think so I think so. Admittedly she might just be asleep. Rustles Pom poms discreetly and tries to contain excitement. And wee.

It's our first wedding anniversary today. Feeling a bit soppy Grin. Did a big cry on DH this morning, he was taken aback, he's normally the weepy one. Bangkok at 37 weeks is very different to our Christmassy wintery Bakewell wedding!

Niffertiti · 20/12/2015 04:15

And sky lovely to see you round here, hope you're doing ok.

Niffertiti · 20/12/2015 05:16

Oops sky I was getting you mixed up with aux/aur who I don't think has been on the Fred much recently or on FB. Is she ok? Last post I saw from her she was struggling a bit I think?

Mermaid36 · 20/12/2015 08:01

#poowatch2015 - having to limit All Bran to 2 bowls a week....at least it's shifting what it's supposed to Shock
