Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

Molly I can't believe it's BABY TIME TOMORROW!! Your FIL and H are absolute tools of the highest order - good grief, the absolute BARE FACED CHEEK of them both. He came in the end after I screamed and threatened to leave him if he didn't then didn't speak to me the entire way home from the hotel afterwards. He was cross because I yelled and swore earlier in the day when he agreed to take DSD home to her mum for an unspecified wobble even though my family flew in specially to meet them. He just caved in and let a six year old ruin our whole day on a whim. I was beyond humiliated showing up without them. My family can be a bit tricky and I have spent years rebuilding a bond with them after a terrible horrible awful drama pulled us all apart. I am still NC with a lot of my family and so are the ones who came to visit and when we see each other it throws up a lot of uncomfortable feelings from past trauma. DP knows all this but as usual DSD's whims have come first... I really thought he had learned to take ALL of us into consideration but apparently I was wrong...

In more amusing news DD just announced that Makka Pakka (from In the Night Garden) has constipation clever little thing knows that poo jokes are how to make mummy smile.

Am I'm danger of falling off the thread again. Things are just so manic atm and I'm.finding it easier to keep up with you all on fb so neglecting Fred. Sorry!

sky hope you're OK and things seem better in the morning when you've had time to rest. Sounds like he is carrying guilt he needs to deal with over his DD if he's allowing her to call the shots like that.

Thanks lil I plan to spend the day crying hibernating tomorrow so hopefully I will geel better when I am not so tired.

Have to be at the ward by 7 so probably leaving here about 6.20 to allow for parking etc. Nil by mouth after midnight. Goodness I'm going to miss a cup of tea in the morning! Bet I don't go in til really late and then miss dinner time as well. I've packed snacks!

Sky has your DP tried to contact you? I understand why you are so frustrated so hope he does too.

He has been texting and has been nice and says he understands and is sorry... but he does that every time this happens. In the end it makes me feel resentful of his DD and vice versa which isn't fair to either of us because it is neither of our faults. A child should not be put in a position where they have that much power. It is unhealthy for everyone. This time it was over something that was so important to me that I just can't swallow it.

Oh Sky it sounds like he was a major douche. I agree that it's not enough to apologise if he does it again and again. Will you have more opportunities to see your family while they are over?

I don't know what is going on with these men. I hope it's not catching. If DH does go rogue, at least I've got my new love, Kip the magic pillow! 4 nights we have been together and 4 nights I have slept well.

I need a Kip in my life. My bf plillow is great for breastfeeding but meant to be for sleeping too. It fails miserably at that. I can't wait to have no more spd and instead replace it with c section pain instead

Sky you're right, it is unfair on the both of you and I hope he can realise that and actually do something this time rather than think sorry will fix everything without any real actions.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. He isn't a total douche, just textbook separated dad... unfortunately all us stepmothers seem to have days like this. Hell, I have it easier than a lot of people. Still though and taking full advantage of having somewhere to run away to.

Just had our breastfeeding nct session. It made it seem so easy. I know it's not lol!

I must say the past 3 or 4 days my digestive system has gone mad. I'm going to the toilet 2 or 3 times a day (used to go once every 2 or 3 days!)

Sky sounds so tricky - glad you've got a bolt hole where you can let off some steam. Your DP must feel conflicted I guess. Hope he made some effort with your family.

5hell that's what we're doing! Back south for Xmas day with my family (or as I like to call it, proper Christmas ). We were also up here for a funeral last week, the travelling is not fun at this stage in the game!
