Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 41sr grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

Bleugh bieber! Slightly concerned I'm going to look like him after haircut tomorrow. Must specify absolutely no bieber overtones. Or frankie from Saturdays.

Def go and checked later if you feel all is not well honey. Last time I went this child started discoing as soon as monitor was on. The midwives don't mind and I think see it more often than you'd think

Hobbit19 · 18/12/2015 09:09

Ahahahahaha!! Justin Bieber!! Brilliant and so, so wrong at the same time!!!

Have you felt any more kicks this morning Honey? If it helps at all the minute I wake up I have a little panic that baby is not moving, then I remind myself that baby is asleep and will wake up when I have breakfast, which it inevitably does. But, if you are worried, call the midwife. Have you tried the usual tricks?

Eep Corgi as if you are 9 weeks already! Is this by your original estimate or from your early scan? Your 12 week dating scan will be more accurate than your early one, they are so ickle then!

Mermaid, Keep and Trijo did you ever get an invite to the FB group? I fear that I royally cocked this up! The other way to do it is to be Facebook friends with someone in the group and then they can add you via your fb name, which should work. Unfortunately I cannot do this due to my privacy settings being on lock down.... can anyone else help?

Morning!

You have some weird dreams, I didn't dream at all. Mostly because I didn't fucking sleep. Oh well.

Honey i'd give them a call to be honest. It's always best to get checked out. If it's nothing then great, you go home feeling a wee bit silly but knowing baby is fine. It's what traige and MAU are there for.

SecondCupOfTea · 18/12/2015 09:32

I also didn't sleep very well last night. Oh well, at least it's the weekend soon.

I'm off to the hosp now, for blood test results, asthma check-up, a quick game of find-the-heartbeat, and two hours of sitting in the waiting room! Hmm

Jcandy · 18/12/2015 10:59

Jut been to have my second sweep but they couldn't do it yet Sad had some blood stained discharge this morning but it wasn't very mucusy so didn't think it was show related. Turns out they think I might have a urine infection so got to go and be checked out at PAU at half 12. Still hoping they'll be able to do my sweep later.

That's what PAU are there for honey always best to get checked!

Hobbit19 · 18/12/2015 11:56

How come they couldn't do it JC? Because of the uti? Gx for you for later.

OP posts:
Jcandy · 18/12/2015 12:17

Yeah they wanted me to get checked out before they did. Think its coz it was red blood so they are just cautious of where that's coming from

Hobbit19 · 18/12/2015 12:23

Ah okay, hope it is all good!

Meh. Got a day off my day-job today to finish off a corporate order for my own business....but I'm currently sat on the sofa feeling very nauseous....Yay for lunchtime sickness!

honeysucklejasmine · 18/12/2015 12:42

Well I have felt some movements today whilst at work. And just this second. Currently eating lunch and drinking coke so will see if it goes mental. I am going to give them a ring later if need be, that's for sure.

I am officially on mat leave! Sent off my SMA form yesterday asking them to start giving me money from Feb. As I will get invoices paid to cover January.

CarrotPuff · 18/12/2015 12:56

I hope it's nothing serious JC and you have a successful sweep.

Yay for mat leave honey.

My Xmas do is tonight but I'm contemplating not going. It's in Central London, which will take me over an hour to get to just for a buffet dinner and a glass of wine... I'm not that keen on the company, feel tired and achy and have a big parcel to pack for tomorrow morning. I'd rather get everything done in peace and watch Star Wars eating mince pies...

honeysucklejasmine · 18/12/2015 13:20

Yeah, baby going mental now.

Hope you get your sweep soon JC

FeatheredTail · 18/12/2015 13:31

Sack it off Carrot!

Hope you're out of there soon Jc

Yay Honey!

Jcandy · 18/12/2015 13:56

Been on monitoring and had a very happy baby. Just been seen by doctor. No vaginally bleeding other than streaks so probably part of mucus plug. She's done my second sweep. Just waiting on the midwife now but hopefully can go home. They don't think it's a urine infection as the sample that was sent on monday has come back clear. I was having regular BH on the monitor but the doctor says I'm not in labour yet

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 18/12/2015 14:16

honey - see how you go. I think they advise for you to try lying on your side and counting kicks yourself for a while first, before going in? It's a PITA if you're at work, but maybe give that a go before trudging over to hospital? Or maybe try give him a massive poke? Grin Maybe he is having a lazy day! But obviously don't let yourself stress for days about it. If it helps, I think most of us have moments like you described in the morning - it's pretty scary.

Sorry to everyone suffering with insomnia. It's so shit when you're shattered all day, then when you finally get to bed you just lay there thinking "What the actual FUCK". Mother nature is such a joker sometimes.

Has anyone had their strep B test recently? The hospital forgot about mine, so I've had to arrange separately. I go tomorrow for what should be my LAST batch of tests!

Feeling much more relaxed now christmas shopping is out the way, my maternity bag has at least all the essentials in it, the batch cooking is finished and the flat is in a much better state.

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 18/12/2015 14:17

jcandy - what do your BH contractions feel like? Can you definitely feel them, or could you just tell from the monitor? At least baby seems happy!!

Jcandy · 18/12/2015 14:28

I could feel them. Knew they were happening and looked on the monitor to see it rising.

Just on my way home now Grin

jellypi3 · 18/12/2015 14:30

oo lots of bh's could be the start of something jc!! glad all is ok though!

gouda we don't get tested to GBS over here, you have to pay for it privately unless you are at risk.

Hobbit19 · 18/12/2015 14:32

Ooh good news for both of you there JC and Honey. Hopefully your sweep will kick something off JC!

Good work Gouda on the organisation front. Currently re-packing hospital bag like a mentalist. We were given loads of gorgeous baby things from DH's work yesterday and I am putting some of those babygros in as they are cuter than the ones I packed originally. I know. I'm an idiot. But I am so excited about having a baby hha!!

I just had a lovely wagamamas for lunch and now I want fries..... Or a mince pie

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 18/12/2015 15:28

jelly - ahhh I see, thanks! I wonder how they decide who is at risk or not? Weird.

yorkshire - ahahaa we are the opposite! I've been trying to put in the less cute/less expensive baby gros for the hospital bag as I'm worried about them getting super mucky (apparently they don't wash the baby these days??? Seems a bit grim!!!) It's lovely that his colleagues got you presents though - so sweet!!! Are you putting a range of sizes in, in case of small/ginormous baby, or going for all "newborn" sizes?

honeysucklejasmine · 18/12/2015 15:48

Country I have eaten 4 mini mince pies Blush and I really really REALLY want a huge steaming bowl of Wagamama ramen. I love ramen.

We do have a local Chinese supermarket which does all the other Asian cuisines too. Maybe I can buy all the ingredients.. Or at least gyoza. I love gyoza too. And fish balls. Aaah, south east Asian food is amazeballs.

Have pressed half my patchwork squares. Did I mention I am an impatient person? It takes ages.

CountryGal4 · 18/12/2015 16:00

I had the gyoza :D I literally can't stop thinking about food. It is literally all consuming. :S this is normal right?! I've spent most of this pregnancy not fussed by food. But now I want it all and I want it noooooow

ThursdayLastWeek · 18/12/2015 16:07

Our hospital doesn't even have baby baths Confused
Poor stinky DS was in for 8 days and even then it took a day of courage rustling to bring ourselves to bath him at home!

KeepTheHope · 18/12/2015 16:11

Hospitals don't wash the baby? But... But... It has STUFF all over it! I'm not pleased about this at all.

Pud I don't think it worked, sorry but thanks for trying!

I've never had Wagamama's Blush
