Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 41sr grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

Ill I'm so sorry. Do look after yourself. Lots of us have been through the same. Do come back over to the undergrads when you're ready, even if you're not up for shagging just yet.

MollyBloomYes · 17/12/2015 21:30

Oh my god ill there's me banging on and completely missed your news. I'm really sorry, take care of yourself and do whatever you need to do to get through this Thanks

FeatheredTail · 17/12/2015 21:34

Yes Thurs. Lots of good points raised and made by sensible posters, but just one or two that felt the need to describe in gruesome detail why women should know what could happen during birth.... I'm in an overtired mood/bit grumpy so probably being way more sensitive to those posts I would usually be!!

pretzelpieces · 17/12/2015 21:38

molly OMG so exciting, I'm so glad for you that you have an earlier date. GX they don't move it. And remember pregnant women are empathy machines, your hormones are doing you no favours there.

pud also exciting!! Rustling my pompoms for both of you. (and you jc!)

Thanks carrot, fruit (just naming different kinds of cake here! Cake on the brain!) and disco it's reassuring to know other people feel the same and there will be more chances to make friends.

mermaid yay for booking in appt!

jelly sorry for the tireds.

Growth scan and consultant today. They're happy with my blood sugar now I'm on 3 metformin a day. Scan all good and growth spot on BUT baby is breech, she's turned over. Is it wrong that I don't really want her to turn because it'll mean I can have an elcs instead of going through induction on the fucking antenatal ward? I know there's spinning babies (OB says there's no scientific evidence) but not sure I want to try. Anyway she may well turn in the next three weeks, seeing them again for scan/diabetes/obstetrician at 36 weeks when if she's still breech they'll have me decide whether to book a version or an elcs.

And I finished work today! Apart from possibly one or two meetings in January!

jellypi3 · 17/12/2015 21:44

OMG pret you're done? No frigging way! Yay!! I'm so jealous I can't wait to finish!

molly wooo roll on 22nd! Try not to focus on your DH, you are having a baby soon!

pud gx this is the start of something. I feel for you and jc right now!

I'm off to bed. I'm so tired.

ThursdayLastWeek · 17/12/2015 21:49

yes, I see what you mean feathered - interesting but partisan!

pretzel in your shoes I'd feel just the same - I'm not a fan of induction, and obvs I'm all for elcs so I get where you're coming from! But you never know, with your blood sugar all under control you might be able to go au naturel anyway?

I'm starting to feel really pregnant now I've hit 28 weeks - I thought, and people keep telling me that I have a 'neat' bump, but when I compare to pics of previous pregnancy I'm MASSIVE!
I a,so keep getting ligament pain that makes it hurt when I laugh!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 17/12/2015 22:02

Just popping in to say I am still lurking.

Flowers ill sending you a big hug

Xmas Grin molly and pud

Mermaid36 · 17/12/2015 22:04

I still haven’t told my mum or sister yet, we're doing something special on Xmas eve to tell them....However today I spent several hours with my sister and it was torture not telling her! I had to make sure I was wearing a big baggy hoodie to hide the fatness!! Can't wait to tell them!

Jcandy · 17/12/2015 22:22

Great news molly you might beat us all! Glad they've moved it for you though. As others have said it's normal to feel like that about h but it is his own fault.

Sounds like a good midwife appointment pud I've got my next tomorrow for my second sweep. Really hoping it does something! Had a burst of energy today so managed to go for a walk and wrap presents and finish sorting the nursery (sheets on mattresses etc.). I brought the car seat and pram downstairs to where they will live and dp freaked out when he came in from work coz he thought it meant I was in labour and he'd missed a message from me Grin

MollyBloomYes · 17/12/2015 22:34

Ooh burst of energy. Classic Wink welcome to the bookend of symptom spotting from ttc, trying to second guess when labour might start.

I'm definitely in empathy overdrive, always do when down. When my milk came in with DS I cried for most of the night because the healthcare assistant looked a bit sad when she took my blood pressure (prob just knackered from night shift) and I was a terrible person for not making sure she was ok. Baby in scbu a floor down but definitely more important that a mardy hcp was ok Hmm dreading that bit this time!

Pretzel gx baby stays breech or you don't need inducting because your sugars do so fabulously.

Thanks to all for love and support going to have a baaaaaby soon. DS has four more days as an only child and definitely looks far too little to be a big brother!

honeysucklejasmine · 18/12/2015 02:13

Eugh. Fucking weird dream. Bit disturbing tbh! Guess I am awake for the next while!

Mermaid36 · 18/12/2015 02:22

I've got pregsomnia....DH sleeping soundly next to me whilst I read/check MN..... Meh...

honeysucklejasmine · 18/12/2015 03:42

Grr. Had some fun winding up a troll over on feminism chat, but now I am bored. Cone on, sleep. Pleeeeeease!

Niffertiti · 18/12/2015 04:37

Hello insomniacs! It's elevenses time here... Decaf iced coffee and chocolate Mm... ChocolateChocolateChocolate

Just popping in to see whether there's any news on baby pud and candy... Sounds like things are warming up - though we might even have some Xmas babies.... [santa][santa][santa]

And Molly eek for Tuesday - that's not far off and you'll have a little squishy baby for DS to meet! Is he excited? Does he know what's going to happen?

Ill sorry to hear your bad news. It's a crap thing to go through, especially when you've had a complicated time getting there. Give yourself time and don't hesitate to wallow a bit. It's grotty.

Pret I hear you on the befriending front. I having to force myself to get out and meet new people and I hate it! I'm bribing myself - if I go to bumps and babies on Wednesdays and speak to 4 new people I get a foot massage (God bless the land of the cheap foot rub...). I'm really nervous in large groups, and I've just accepted it's never going to be a good way to make friends for me although I still feel bad when I can see others managing it. I'm much more comfortable in groups of 2-3 so I try if possible to make arrangements to see people for coffee separately. Don't know if that might work for you?

The news here is I'm fully baked today. 37 weeks. Holy fuck I'm going to have a baby! I'm actually getting pretty excited about meeting her now, and seeing if the little personality I've invented for her matches when she comes out. In other news it does not feel at all like Christmas - it's hot, sunny, I can't drink, and we don't have any family visits lined up... It's going to be really odd! We are having Christmas lunch in a pub with a bunch of people I've never met. See comment above re large groups of new people, I have very mixed feelings about this Confused!

corgi88 · 18/12/2015 04:56

Hello everyone! On labour ward nights again, last one until Christmas day night though! Lots of lovely little babies :) so excited for you pud candy molly niff you will be cuddling little bundles of joy so soon! Eeeee.
Nfmw (womble): 9 weeks on Sat! Also eeee. And see midwife for first appt on Monday before we drive home for Christmas. No preg symptoms though except for random terrifying womble cramps.
Hope everyone else is having a lovely run up to Christmas even without mulled wine and damson gin

corgi88 · 18/12/2015 05:00

Oooh mermaid what are you doing to reveal your upduffedness? Wish I had waited now but got too excited and told family pretty much from bfp!!

5hell · 18/12/2015 06:49

Last day at work this year, woo hoo! !!!
Plus Xmas do tonight Xmas Smile

No news from my anything really, except feeling a bit fat #boring

ThursdayLastWeek · 18/12/2015 07:50

Morning all, we're having our Xmas do tonight too (DH works alone, from home and I'm a SAHM Grin). We're going out for a fancy dinner with some friends yum yum yum.

DS and I are going to brave town in a bit - wish us luck!

Hope everybody's feeling suitably pregnant for the week they're in xxx

MollyBloomYes · 18/12/2015 07:53

Morning! Niff he's a bit little to really understand I think (though you never know) but we've been reading lots of new baby type stories and he has a toy doll he's been helping me take care of. He's been incredibly sweet with the 'beba' and gives it cuddles so gx he's not totally averse to a real one!

I'm crap at making friends, find the baby groups etc really hard work as everyone else seems to know each other already but I'm determined to persevere. Nct is great if it works out but certainly not the end of the world if not. Mine were awful but they got me out the house in the early days. Seem to remember we didn't really start messaging and meeting up properly until the classes had finished so fret not pretzel there's still time. Then you can meet some like minded people whilst out and sod the ones you don't like!

Niffertiti · 18/12/2015 07:56

NFMN (nipples): I held a baby and they leaked. In the middle of a posh shopping mall. First time I'd met both mum and baby. #embarrassing Blush

honeysucklejasmine · 18/12/2015 08:11

Lol Niff! How awkward! Good idea on the Christmas dinner. Imagine how many massages you will be entitled to after that! There's a British (or maybe Irish) pub on sukhumvit somewhere. I remember going there for dinner one night. Richard Hammond had just crashed his car (remember that?) so all the TV screens were showing coverage of that. I seem to remember it being near a bowling alley, but I might be making that up.

So. My immediate thought on waking today was "baby's dead". Confused I have since jiggled the bump a bit and got kicked a bit. Is it wrong of me to phone DAU later and ask to be monitored? Movements have been more sporadic the last few days but bump has changed shape too so prob just baby moved. I feel paranoid and now getting to a " it would be my fault for not getting checked" mood.

Mermaid36 · 18/12/2015 08:21

corgi we're just going to tell DHs side of the family when we see them on Xmas day, but for my mum and sister (cos I only have them) I've had some little glass plaques made (not even coaster sized) that say Nanna and Auntie respectively with a babygrow on them and we're wrapping them up as part of their presents! Squee!

We're also planning an amusing announcement for FB once I've had a scan, but that's still in the planning stage yes folks, I'm doing a FB announcement

FeatheredTail · 18/12/2015 08:50

Hahaha, oh Niff! Great that they're up and running though, eh?!

Honey what an awful dream. Great you got some kicks, but if you still feel something might not be right, go in. I think that's the mantra for this group right? Trust your instinct and feel relieved when it's wrong!

I had a pretty awful dream too.... I have Justin Bieber a blow job. And I enjoyed it. Then in another part of the dream I found out everyone at work thought I was a sulky diva becuse I had slammed my office door (in the dream).

I blew Bieber.

FeatheredTail · 18/12/2015 08:51

*gave

Mermaid36 · 18/12/2015 08:55

Eeeww! Justin Bieber!
I dreamt that I couldn't let the dogs out because we had white tigers in the garden and I was waiting for pest control to come and remove them....it was all so logical!
