Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 41sr grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

YB yes, it does, as long as I remember to take it!

Fruit yikes, poor thing. Sad

TriJo · 16/12/2015 07:46

I like Gap's maternity stuff - particularly the jeans, absolutely living in their full panel skinny jeans. I've been kinda boring with maternity clothes though - pretty much every day is open cardi, top and jeans.

MollyBloomYes · 16/12/2015 07:50

I caved and bought another cheapy gym ball from Argos. DS won't let me near it this morning, new favourite plaything. Tried it last night though and oh my goodness the relief on my hips! How to work out how to sleep on it....
Anyone else watch tattoo fixers? Developing quite the crush on Sketch. And I'd probably get free tattoos. Win win!
Sky and yb sorry to hear about your...leakages!

KateBeckett · 16/12/2015 07:54

YB I'm on the same meds as honey, and they are good. Stopped working for me for a while so I went back to go and got something different, then back to cyclizine and it has been fab since. I am 11 weeks today and sickness is easing a lot now X

sky Grin

I'm feeling much more human at the moment. It's partly nice not to feel bone tired and sick, and it's partly fuelling my anxiety that something is wrong. About to phone GP to try and get an appointment...

honeysucklejasmine · 16/12/2015 08:02

Yay for balls Molly

Had my favourite work call this morning: stay in bed, no student today. Well, OK, they don't say "stay in bed" but that's totally what I do.

Coughed so hard I almost vommed. What fresh hell is this?!

ThursdayLastWeek · 16/12/2015 08:21

Oh, my pelvic floor is being rocked whilst sneezing at the mo too viroids. I have abstained from the lemsip since our previous conversation (not hard, because I don't really like them anyway) but boy oh boy did I feel the difference last night. I was using DS snufflebabe. It's not the same, though it does smell very nice!

I bought most of my maternity clothes on eBay. I mostly like h&m for basics, topshop for something slightly more fancy. Asos come up HUGE FYI.

DH is self-employed so our works Xmas do is going for a fancy dinner with another couple Grin it's this Friday, she's pregnant too, I'm very excited.

Weather grim down here, but DS spending the arvo at his grandparents. Hallelujah!

Molly you were in my dream last night, but I can't remember what it was about now!

ThursdayLastWeek · 16/12/2015 08:28

I'm in my third trimester as of today!

And there's only 11 parkruns between me and meeting this baby Shock

lildottie · 16/12/2015 08:31

Morning all.

yb I swear acupuncture has kept my ms to a minimum as it got worse as I was coming up to next appt then better again immediately after. I was going every 2weeks in first tri, now monthly.

FeatheredTail · 16/12/2015 08:43

Ordered my first couple of mat dresses from ASOS earlier in the week - I'll let you know how they fit!

Feeling pretty shit. Missed the work chrismas party yesterday. I managed 10 minutes before having to leave. It's the bloody new all bran I've been eating - it has ruined my entire stomach. The actual explosive runs I can deal with, but as a result I feel weak. And my digestion pains are awful. Sorry for the massive moan, but I was really looking forward to feeling festive/eating tons of delicious free food!! - gahhhh!!

I don't feel at all festive at the moment. It's shit. Just go to work, feel ill, come home and sit on my tod. DH always works late so I'm lucky to see him before 9pm (earliest).

Anyway, some of my best friends are staying this weekend so hopefully my Scrooge mood will lift. Will stop wallowing and watch "Elf"/sleepless in Seattle/it's a wonderful life/listen to some Xmas Buble until then! Wallow over!

oneyorkshirepud · 16/12/2015 08:51

Thursday! Congrats on third tri, I can't believe you are still park waddling, jealous and impressed! I am going to get jacked once this baby is born! DH is building a climbing wall/gym in his massive shed so we can get/keep fit while we have a lickle bambino.

Sorry to those of you with various leaking body fluids. Oh the joys.

Was getting worried about baby movements, didn't sleep much last night worrying about it (which is silly because baby pud never moves on a night time). Was just contemplating calling the MW when baby woke up and started having a rave. Naughty baby stressing me out!

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 16/12/2015 08:53

carrot - Have you been using any sort of body cream? Itchy bump is often skin being too dry whilst stretching. It might help to try drinking more water and using a really good body cream. Bio oil is a bit pricey but the bees knees if you use it regularly, and get enough water.

Also, I TOTALLY agree about this arsing "walk up and down stairs" advice to speed up labour. What the fuck?? Why would you want to shatter yourself out before anything's even really happened yet and it could be HOURS until you're done? Confused

Good luck to all the viroids hoping for imminent arrivals! I'm really hoping mini cheese doesn't arrive before his due date (10th jan)!

Full term this week! Spent all of yesterday cleaning the apartment, as I really don't want to worry about going into labour unexpectedly and it being a total shit heap. Today I am going to start doing the hospital bag.

Anyone else hospital bagging this week?

oneyorkshirepud · 16/12/2015 08:54

Flowers Feathered, that sounds rubbish! Maybe stop/reduce the all bran for a bit? What preggo vits are you on? It might be worth trying some different ones if you are having digestive issues.

fruitlovingmonkey · 16/12/2015 09:01

Oh no, Honey not you too. I'm going to the doctor this afternoon so will let you know what they say about coughing until you vom. my phone wanted to change vom to come, now there's a side effect I could live with Happened again this morning.
I found some Gap basic vest tops that are the perfect shape for pg, although not labelled maternity. Have been wearing them under regular t shirts and tops so far but my sister is giving me some of her old mat tops. Also bought a long cardi in Gap that will definitely accommodate a bump. You can do a lot without the actual mat department, although I desperately need some stretchy jeans in my life.
Tried some in New Look and I just looked like an obese person wearing skinny jeans Xmas Hmm
Sorry you are feeling so shit feathered. I missed DH's Christmas party last night. Friends and festive films sounds like a good plan to cheer you up. The Holiday was on yesterday on itv if you can get it on catch up.

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 16/12/2015 09:06

oh shitting arse - sorry for the double post, but can people reassure me that losing your mucous plug isn't necessarily a sign of impending labour???

I know baby cheese has his head on my cervix, I was 25% effaced last week (which she said meant labour was NOT very soon!) and then last night and this morning my mucous plug has definitely either come out, or a large portion of it has.

TOO SOON, TOO SOON.

oneyorkshirepud · 16/12/2015 09:29

Gouda it doesn't necessarily mean that labour is imminent. It can either grow back.... or it can be a sign that you are dilating and labour could be on the way. It is officially weird that I am jealous of your mucous plug falling out!!

ThursdayLastWeek · 16/12/2015 09:39

Gouda my mucus plug only dislodged with the help of the MWs fingers. DS was born a few day later, but only because I was already overdue and was induced.
Have you had an examination?

FeatheredTail · 16/12/2015 09:49

Glad Xmas Pud showed some party spirit in the end last night Pud! Hope you get to catch up on some rest today.

I think it's the combination of iron tablets, super laxative effect cereal and a not particulary great diet that's causing my entire system to fold! All within my control though, so I'll tinker with it (and reduce all bran intake).

Fruit good tips for gap! I already look a bit dodgy in skinny jeans ("strong" legs) so lord knows what I'll look like in them in a couple of months!

Oooh! A mini cheese could be imminent! Hope you're feeling ok Gouda - exciting times!

oneyorkshirepud · 16/12/2015 10:06

Ha! Imagine if you overtake the rest of us Gouda. You'd better stand on your head or something to stop baby cheese making an early appearance! Grin

Molly when is your CS scheduled for?

5hell · 16/12/2015 10:18

Lil how are you 2nd tri already?! Time is flying!

molly is there a new series of fixers on? I loved the first series (although i dont have any tatoos, or plans to get one)...Sketch is sexy - creative, talented, funny, family man - what's not to like ;)

Sorry you're suffering and missed your do feathered ...hope you can find a middle ground between constipation and the shits asap! Dont feel bad about not feeling festive yet either - it's still over a week away. I love xmas, but as we're always away visiting family i never really feel like I get as into it as I'd like to...i'm never hosting/cooking/doing the big xmas food shop etc.

Flowers YB I'm sure the Drs will be able to help - be insistent! I only had nausea and was v rarely sick, but even without emetophobia it gets you down, so I cant imagine how physically and emotionally drained you must be feeling :(

SecondCupOfTea · 16/12/2015 10:48

Sorry to hear of all the vomming and shitting/not shitting.

Gouda I'd maybe phone the midwife to say that part of the pug has come out.

While we're in confessional mode, I was standing in the bathroom yesterday morning, wearing just my bathrobe, brushing my teeth, when I sneezed, and a not inconsiderable stream of wee ran down my leg, over my foot and onto the floor. I just shrugged and finished doing my teeth Grin At least no-one knew well, apart from all of you lot now

SecondCupOfTea · 16/12/2015 10:49

Bollocks, that should have read 'plug' not 'pug'. I'm not suggesting you've a small dog rammed up yer foof.

5hell · 16/12/2015 10:52

all the best for a lovely scan today keep !

FeatheredTail · 16/12/2015 10:52

Shits self again laughing at Tea's post

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 16/12/2015 10:57

Thanks all, please all cross your fingers that it grows back!!!

second we have an ante natal class tonight so I will mention it to the midwife and see what she says.

Thursday - No, last examination was last week. Although we did have sex last night so maybe that did a bit of dislodging?

yorkshire - lol, I wish it were still there! The grass is always greener and all that jazz!

I had better get my arse in gear and go buy some disposable pants from the pharmacy just in case. And maybe actually do that fucking hospital bag...

honeysucklejasmine · 16/12/2015 11:04

Hospital bag. Definitely a third trimester job.

Shit. I am in the third tri. In 10 weeks time they are going to give me a baby and leave me to it! Shock

Tea you do make me laugh. Pug up your foof indeed!
