Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 41sr grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

Oh god you ladies do make me laugh. Laughing WITH you, not AT you all weeing yourselves of course! Grin Kegels Viroids, kegels.

What time is your growth scan today JC?

Gouda! Pack your bag!!

jellypi3 · 16/12/2015 11:16

Grin haha i'm loving confession time!!

also musuc pug! Grin did make me lol!

Jelly-baby has chosen worst possible day to decide to be quiet, i've got a work lunch and work do this evening. Dunno whether to just start prodding my belly to get some reaction!

Mermaid36 · 16/12/2015 11:27

Thanks for all your clothing recommendations....I will make a confession now - I don't own a pair of jeans! I tend to wear combats/leggings or coloured/patterened tights if I'm not in work! And I definitely don't have legs skinny enough for skinny jeans!

I found a couple of nice vests/t-shirts with some skulls/hearts etc on which I think i will get, and some decent-enough work stuff on the web as well. I think because I don't buy my clothes at high street stores, I just was unaware of which ones had maternity ranges!

Also - I'm 8wks today and baby is the size of a wild strawberry/2x2 lego brick (DH was especially excited re the Lego reference)
Apart from having a bump already, I don't feel especially pregnant today. Plus I haven't even been given a date for my booking in appointment yet. Meh.

I did do a snort (no wee) about mucus pugs though Grin

Jcandy · 16/12/2015 11:36

Growth scan is at half 2. I'm actually pretty nervous. But then also feeling very tired, nauseous and have a bit of a headache this morning so it might be all linked.

I only ever had tiny wee based accidents where I've been very happy that I was wearing a liner! Definitely no trickling down my leg!

KeepTheHope · 16/12/2015 11:56

Thanks 5hell, I'm very excited bit the nerves are taking over. Oh and there's a new series of tattoo fixers starting next Tuesday! Looks like they've replaced the woman but Spike and Jay are still there.

Good luck with your growth scan JC.

Oh dear, leaky viroids. I'm trying to pretend that kind of thing will never happen to me definitely will.

honeysucklejasmine · 16/12/2015 12:28

Mermaid might be worth chasing up your appointment, especially if you self referred.

JC good luck! Enjoy seeing CandyBaby again.

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 16/12/2015 12:37

Good luck with the scan JC!!!

fruitlovingmonkey · 16/12/2015 12:48

Good luck Jc
Blimey Gouda sounds like mini cheese might want to be a 2015 baby. You could try standing on your head until January helpful
Thanks for making me laugh Tea!
I actually can't wait to go to the gp. No idea if she will be able to reassure me but she was very good last time I went about 3 years ago I'm now so snotty it's difficult to breathe.

oneyorkshirepud · 16/12/2015 13:29

Wow JC it will be really strange seeing baby on a scan and knowing you will be holding them in less than 10 days!

I have put my fat cats on a diet. They are both sat looking at me in a mournful manner as they no longer have a never ending supply of buscuits. I feel so mean!!

SecondCupOfTea · 16/12/2015 13:51

If they're anything like my cats Pud, they're trying to mind control you.

oneyorkshirepud · 16/12/2015 14:34

It's working, I gave them more biscuits.... so weak....

pretzelpieces · 16/12/2015 14:41

Omg tea mucus pug was nearly the end of me.

Gx for good scans everyone! V exciting you've lost your pug plug gouda. Could be baby's first Christmas!!

Baby more active today. Had an appointment with the midwife and she told me off for not ringing up last night and told me to pack my hospital bag. (I'm 33 weeks today.)

Bump measuring fine. Something weird in my wee so got to send a sample away tomorrow. Consultant and growth scan tomorrow.

Also our pram arrived! Yay!

Jcandy · 16/12/2015 15:20

Scan was all fine Smile baby measuring ok, plenty of fluid and placenta is working well so good news. Baby estimated at 8lb 5oz though which is bigger than I was expecting!

oneyorkshirepud · 16/12/2015 15:30

Yey that's great news JC! 8lb 5oz is a good size, time to come out now baby Candy!

So, despite my rigorous moisturising schedule, the skin on my bump is still quite dry. So basically my stomach beard looks as though it has dandruff. I am literally the height of sexy appeal right now. #sexgodess #youknowyouwould

rdm10 · 16/12/2015 15:39

Pom pons are out ready for all these xmas babies!

Yep ginormobaby keeps on growing- hes 12lb 6oz at 5 weeks!! It's a full time job trying to fill him up!!

carrot I diagnosed myself with pup/pep in the last 6 weeks of pregnancy, it's horrendous! I mentioned to the midwife a few times and they just checked my blood for cholestasis and weren't bothered when it was clear. I'm convinced it was pupp as it was just my stomach, around my gorgeous stretch marks. It got to the point where I wanted to rip my skin off so you have my sympathy. I used e45 itch relief cream although it didn't really do much. Calamine lotion helped for a short while but when it was bad the only thing I old do was cover myself in cold, wet flannels!! Hope yours isn't that bad. If it makes you feel any better it went away the second the baby was out!?!

oneyorkshirepud · 16/12/2015 15:42

Can we get some eyes over on the undergrads please? I don't want to be fuelling false hope by seeing things.

fruitlovingmonkey · 16/12/2015 15:46

Great news JC, sounds like mini candy is fully cooked.
Pud pop down to boots and get yourself some Head, Muff and Shoulders!
So I have a bacterial sinus infection. In the range for antibiotics but because I'm a wannabe barefoot hippy I got a script for all sorts of natural stuff to try first, then the hard drugs if I don't see any improvement. She said try not to blow my nose too hard, as it makes it worse. Apparently the only thing that can harm the baby at this stage is an untreated fever and I haven't had a fever yet so hopefully little fruit man is ok in there. It can't be whooping cough because I was vaccinated 3 years ago and she said it covers you for 10 years.

SecondCupOfTea · 16/12/2015 15:55

Did you get a sweep JC or are they leaving that?

Jcandy · 16/12/2015 16:10

No sweep today, got my second booked for Friday so not too long to wait (baby Candy it would be great if you can arrive before then though please, mummy is definitely ready now)

pretzelpieces · 16/12/2015 16:17

Eee jc it's SO SOON NOW! Xmas Smile

pretzelpieces · 16/12/2015 16:18

I popped into undergrads pud but I am infamously bad at seeing lines, so. Xmas Wink

MollyBloomYes · 16/12/2015 16:48

Yes new series on Tuesday but have been watching on catch up. I'd be covered if I could but alas alack I have to do boring things like buy food. Might start planning one for when breastfeeding is finished though, little treat for myself. Maybe I could meet my own Sketch Wink

Who asked when my cs is booked was it fruit? It's the 29th December, my due date and 30th birthday. Pretty awesome present but a shite birthday so do feel quite guilty in inflicting it in the poor kid! No room on surgery lists before then though. It's like a weird updated version of the nativity though hopefully with less livestock.

Glad to hear of excellent scan news jc. That was about wha they estimated DS at and he was 9lb 13 Grin
Gouda I think it's probably for the best you're all the way in France if you do end up skipping the queue! Hope all ok!

Went to gp today and she's agreed to prepare a prescription for anti depressants so I can have them ready to go once babys here if I need them. Big relief, I know how quickly I could decline and not think straight so will be very reassuring to have them just in case. She's taking some time to research the best ones for breastfeeding (if there is such a thing) then they'll be ready to pick up Friday.

KeepTheHope · 16/12/2015 17:45

Eek we saw a blob with a heartbeat! I have never been so happy to see a non-descript blob in my life Grin

We're multitasking by crocheting and blood testing our way through pregnancy. We are waiting for our clutch of Christmas babies to hatch while our newbies are gearing up for scans, it's JS Grads 42!
Jcandy · 16/12/2015 17:53

Yay keep! A beautiful blob it is too Smile

Good plan there molly my mental health team have recommended sertraline if I need to start them. It's so nice to know you have a safety net if things go wrong isn't it

SecondCupOfTea · 16/12/2015 18:12

Nice one Keep. Now get ready for the really freaky bit where that blob turns into an identifiable baby in just a few weeks Smile
