Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 41sr grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

ill sorry your bean/womble is causing you so much worry ...i had 3 big scary bleeds (bloody, watery, gushes) which were attributed to a "perigestational sac bleed" seen at 8w, which had disappeared by 12w (with no more bleeds) ...and will be 25w tomorrow, so don't lose hope.

mer people probably notice less than you think...i had two people 'suddenly' realise at the end of last week, including an unsolicited bump poke by the lady behind the till in our canteen!

lildottie · 14/12/2015 21:02

Kate I understand the worrying. If its any help when my 1st pg failed I honestly just knew, even before the negative test. This time I have been worried constantly but I have felt uncertain either way, not sure like last time. So hopefully you're dealing with uncertainty and all will be OK. Flowers Chocolate

feathered I'm desperate to feel movements too, and I'm only 14wks. I'm struggling with the wait to 16w mw appt, let alone 20wk scan! Shall we rock in a corner with the crazies together?!

Ill you must be so worried you poor thing. Please don't assume the worst. In the 3 years I've absorbed the entirety of the mn conception and infertility boards I've seen many women have bleeds and go on to have no problems. Gx for you.

I'm trying to save my mat wear shopping until after Christmas. Only a few meetings left so seems silly to buy now just to grow again by January!

fruitlovingmonkey · 14/12/2015 21:36

Ill that must be really scary. Hopefully you can take some reassurance from the viroids' stories of bleeds. Try to stay positive and don't be afraid to rest up and let DH look after you.
rdm that's great that you had a calm and happy birth. Hope you have recovered well.
I'm also trying to save most of my mat clothes shopping for the January sales.

Illiria · 14/12/2015 21:37

Thanks everyone, it's down to brown now and only when I wipe so feeling much better but still scared. Trying not to poke it to see if it is done, this might have contributed to recent bleed as well.

Sky I had a scan last Monday which caused the first bleed and then another last Thursday to reassure and that has caused this most recent bleed. So it seems that my foof does not like internal scans. I'm 9w today and the hb was seen on both my scans at around 158bpm.

Also am flying back to the uk on Saturday so the added fun of that.

Peenut · 14/12/2015 21:40

What a lovely birth story rdm. welcome to the world Henry aka ginormababy!

Oh dear Ill, you must be very worried but this doesn't mean it's all gone pear shaped. Maybe go back for another scan and ask for it to be abdominal, how far along are you? I had abdominal at 7 weeks ish and it showed up heartbeat etc. Everything crossed for you bleeding stops and all is well.

I feel your pain mermaid! Tried to wear a high waisted skirt at the weekend ... Tried and failed. Might wear that item this time next year (here's hoping!) just bought some nice jersey pencil skirts from H and m, stretchy and thought they'd last a few months of growth! 🍰🍫🍕🌭

honeysucklejasmine · 14/12/2015 21:59

I wore a Jersey pencil skirt on the weekend. But I pulled it right up under my bump because it was annoying me being so restrictive.

YouBastardSockBalls · 14/12/2015 22:49

Carrot tell your midwife about the itching, it's probably nothing but bad itching can be a sign of something that affects the liver in pregnancy, can't remember what it's called sorry!

Ill you must be so worried Flowers stay positive!

rdm 10.5 is huge! Lovely birth story, hope you're enjoying him Smile

honeysucklejasmine · 14/12/2015 23:39

Choleosis or something... That's more itchy hands etc. I think a few of the girls over on FB had bad itching. Repost there?

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 15/12/2015 01:15

Still awake. Baby kicking bladder like it is a hacky sack... Xmas Hmm

honeysucklejasmine · 15/12/2015 06:00

Annoying Sky! Mine is just having a fidget now and that's distracting enough.

Is a hacky sack like a beanbag?

oneyorkshirepud · 15/12/2015 07:53

Lovely birth story rdm, glad you are recovering well and congrats on your gorgeous boy!

Carrot my bump is so itchy! It drives me mad! I use E45 anti itch cream twice a day and then coconut oil every couple of hours, I find that helps a lot. I think it is just due to the skin stretching but it could be choleowhatsit or PEP but if it is just your stretch marks I think that is quite normal. When do you next see your mw?

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 15/12/2015 08:03

Yes bean bag! Like that game where you have to keep kicking it and not let it drop...

Then DD woke at 4. Then I had to pee at about 5. Am so tired. Back to doctor after school run then back to bed (I hope)

CarrotPuff · 15/12/2015 08:12

Yeah, obstetric choleostasis, but that's more to do with itchy palms and feet. I did read about PEP though, I really hope it's not that Sad

What itch cream do you use pud? Tbh it stopped itching now, I think it was just one off due to stretching.

Sorry about your rubbish night sky, any chance of a nap?

I'm getting some cervix punches, oh the joys. Anyone else finding low down movement quite uncomfortable? I don't mind kicks, but the elbowing and groping about my bladder/cervix is just ouch.

ThursdayLastWeek · 15/12/2015 08:31

Morning all.
Sorry carrot no idea about the itching - I haven't stretched past the point of my previous stretch marks yet, though I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

I was kept awake last night but by my wretched first born. I don't think there was even anything wrong with him, but he came in with me and was awake poking and prodding me from 1.30-3 at least. So today my plan is soft play for an hour or two, then stick him in his cot for the rest of the day

Jcandy · 15/12/2015 08:54

Morning viroids!

Sorry for those that didn't sleep well. I woke up lots last night but thankfully managed to sleep in chunks in between so don't feel too bad this morning.

All the cramping I was getting last night after my sweep seems to have gone now so I'm back to waiting again. Got to have a growth scan tomorrow as my measurements have tailed off so they aren't sure if baby is still growing.

Thanks for the lovely birth story rdm Xmas Smile

jellypi3 · 15/12/2015 09:04

Hey rdm :) Great birth story, glad it all worked out ok! That was one healthy baby eh!

JC hope scan goes ok! Come on baby candy, we want squidgey baby pictures!! (Christmas Pud and Baby Molly can come too!)

SecondCupOfTea · 15/12/2015 09:16

Just showing my dreadful memory...who was is that had seemingly dozens of sweeps? Was it La?

Miraculously, I had a decent sleep for the second night in a row!

Now, can one of you hurry up and do a baby please?

oneyorkshirepud · 15/12/2015 10:17

Nope, sorry, no baby yet! Grin

Carrot it is just called E45 anti itch cream.

FeatheredTail · 15/12/2015 10:25

Great birth story RDM - it's really good to hear about a c-section birth too.

Did the sweep hurt JC?

Peenut · 15/12/2015 11:09

Yeah one of you full term ladies do a baby sooooon! Festive child alert! :)

Just been to the docs and described cat allergy symptoms and suffocating feeling I got. Doctor said it's fine to take a antihistamine as long as it's cetirizine if I'm visiting a house with cats. Apparently a one off couple of days of taking it will be fine. I'll go wuth that as still recovering from the snot overload of Saturday. Just thought I'd share in case anyone else is wondering about that sort of medication.

Oh, and olbas oil which I though was fine isn't apparently! Been inhaling that since Sunday! Whoops. Xmas Hmm

Jcandy · 15/12/2015 11:22

Not at all feathered but apparently I was very relaxed. Just closed my eyes and breathed through it. It was mildly uncomfortable at most

lildottie · 15/12/2015 11:30

Morning all.
Waiting for bff to turn up. You remember the one who told me about her 12wk scan appt minutes after I told her I was having a mc. Yes her. She's back from abroad for Christmas and seeing her for first time since April. Excited to tell her my news and she's late, as usual!

Good news on Antihistamines pee not so good on olbas, really hope I don't get a cold!

Phoned drs today for uti results. Looks like antibiotics cleared it up. Gx I don't get any more!

pud ylu clearly need to try harder! All of you get on those exercise balls, drink cod liver oil, rlt and have all the sex! Come on babies!

KeepTheHope · 15/12/2015 12:14

Ill I'm sorry you've had a scary time, take it easy and try not to worry too much. No one has said its over which is really good, I'm sure it will be ok. ThanksBrewCake

Kate I agree with the others, please go and see your gp. I'm sorry you're feeling so low but there is support out there for you ThanksBrewCake for you too.

Sorry for all the bad sleep viroids, I had a good night for a change!

Early reassurance scan tomorrow afternoon. I completely get the scanxiety thing now! I'm a bit excited but mainly feeling very anxious about it. I can't imagine getting through any bad news. Sorry for the me post, I've been keeping it all in my head for the last few days and needed an outlet.

Come on festive babies! It seems like the viroids need some uplifting squidgy baby photos!

oneyorkshirepud · 15/12/2015 13:29

Keep good luck for the scan tomorrow, how exciting! We are looking forward to seeing the pics.

I walked into town and back in an effort to provide you all with festive baby pics. Don't feel that I can enforce sex on DH until we get truly desperate ha ha. I can't do RLT either as you are I read that you are not supposed to drink it if there is a history of breast cancer in your family (lots of it in mine unfortunately.) But I will bounce on the ball like a crazy viroid later. Shock

oneyorkshirepud · 15/12/2015 13:37

Also, I will be 39+5 when I see the MW on Thursday. Do you think she will do a sweep then? I will just see her at the local docs surgery. I thought I would avoid sweeps at all costs but I want to meet baby now ha ha!
