Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 41st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 41sr grads thread is HERE

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE
for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates. (Except it's not because I don't know how to link to the stats sheet!)

corgi Can I make a cheeky recommendation of getting some nightwear with support as well? I got a Bravissimo nightie and pyjama top at around 8-9 weeks and they were amazing for a bit of extra support at night, I was waking up a lot less sore.

KateBeckett · 07/12/2015 20:06

I just have some non wired bras from Asda at the moment. They are comfy, but if the ginormaboobs get bigger I'll need something more exciting... Supportive!

Had a chat with dp and he agreed I could tell my closest uni friends. Smile they are v excited, and also v helpful already- one has 2 kids already and one is 30 weeks. The pregnant one said she had guessed last time we visited!

They are def the people I would want support from if anything goes wrong, and I know I can trust them not to out me (can't believe how many of you have had that issue!)

Ha Mermaid I had that worry as well, a day or two before the mega sickness landed... Hopefully you won't feel too bad but enjoy it while it lasts!!

Anyone else reaaaaally fucking itchy?! What's that about??

Mermaid36 · 07/12/2015 20:09

I'm a bit Hmm at non-wired bras....I have pretty big boobs already (36DD pre pregnancy) and I really need the support that underwire gives me...boobs are already huge and growing...

oneyorkshirepud · 07/12/2015 20:25

Oh god yes Kate, the ITCHING!!!!! I'm using E45 anti itch cream twice a day and then either bio oil or coconut oil every two hours or so. The oil really helps. If you get itchy all over/on your hands/feet then it is worth calling your mw though as it can be a sign of liver issues.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 07/12/2015 21:37

I had a bout of itchy eczema early on in pregnancy. Some hydrocortisone cleared it right up. My GP specializes in dermatology she assured me it was fine.

TriJo · 07/12/2015 22:30

Mermaid No need to wear the non-wired ones if you have a bra that fits properly - any issues are down to wires sitting in places they shouldn't. The only non-wired ones I wear at the moment are my sports bras!

lildottie · 07/12/2015 22:31

merm I was a 32D pre pg and wouldn't dream of not having underwire....until I bought my first maternity bra. It's so supportive! And comfy and already starting to get tight 4 weeks after I bought it

Can't remember who said what else. I'm so tired, working far too much/late and just need a day off! And my arm hurts where I had my flu jab :(

Going bed now!

Illiria · 08/12/2015 03:13

I miss being a DD, am a 30JJ and that was pre pregnancy. I can't get bras big enough over here so have to mail order from bravissimo. Their shipping rates aren't too bad though.

8 week scan today, all is well. Bean with heartbeat. Lots of information and a hell of a lot of appointments given. DH is going to be away for 11 week scan so might take DM who will be visiting.

Sorry to those having morning sickness.

Gods a lot of you seem to have had issues with telling people. We are telling DParents and Dmil after we fly back. Having my parents pick me up from Dmil house and going for lunch. Not putting on Facebook until delivery.

honeysucklejasmine · 08/12/2015 04:31

Eugh. I am awake. My hips kept clicking when I turned over in bed. Is this the start of feeling like a whale? Sad

Also, I am constipated. And my bump hurts. And now I am hungry. Grr.

Oh well. Stewed apricot for desert from now on.

5hell · 08/12/2015 06:07

YAY! for 8w hb ill Xmas Grin
How are u feeling?

honey Flowers and Chocolate for u ...take it easy today (and u lil)

Felt lots of kicks last night when me n dh were reading in bed ...dh got to feel it too Grin

jellypi3 · 08/12/2015 07:43

Morning viroids.

I'm knackered today. Firstly I had super super itchy legs all night, which stopped me getting to sleep. Then DP decided he was in an amorous mood and we ended up DTD (quick great difficulty and some hilarity) and then I had a killer combination of sore back/hips and needing to pee a million times which woke me up every hour. Fun fun fun.

honey sorry you had a bad night too, it's the worst feeling when u haven't slept and your alarm goes off for work.

Had whooping cough yesterday and my arm is also aching like mad. Feel ok apart from that though lol!

2 weeks 1 day until Maternity leave (technically 3 weeks 1 day but my boss said he doesn't expect me in between Xmas eve and NYE). I can't wait, it will mean no trains and I can nap!!

lildottie · 08/12/2015 08:38

Yay for nice boss jelly! And arm sympathies to you.

honey and jelly sorry about lack of sleep. I had a fairly good night for a change, though could've done with longer!

Ill yay for scan and HB. Incredible isn't it! Shame ur dh will miss next one bless him.

I only have 2 pessaries left. Yikes!

oneyorkshirepud · 08/12/2015 09:16

Yey for the scan Ill! That's fab news.

Flowers Honey, some nights will be bad and some will be good. I find that a bath before bed helps with the hips as well as not drinking much a couple of hours before bed and having a good pillow formation!

Yet for upcoming maternity leave Jelly!! Have you got any plans? (Other than napping?)

FeatheredTail · 08/12/2015 09:22

Great news Ill! Xmas Smile

Jelly good work with zee sex! Sorry you slept badly afterwards though.

DH and I broke the sex dry spell this weekend! A bit nervous, but feels good to be back in the saddle again!

I keep waking up around 3am. It sucks. I don't ache or anything, I just wake up, have a pee, stay awake forever for an hour or so then my alarm goes off what feels like 5 minutes later!

Feeling a tiny bit wistful today. I'd have most likely been starting my mat leave this week (or annual leave tacked onto mat leave) if bean #1 had made it. Ah well. Just glad bean #2 is all well!

jellypi3 · 08/12/2015 09:41

pud i have a house full of boxes to unpack, so I think i'll be doing that during Mat leave. Plus seeing some friends I've not seen in a while and generally preparing for baby to arrive. I'm fortunate that my grandparents live in the same house so they are doing the cleaning/cooking currently!

feathered Flowers i can imagine it's a tough milestone.

I must admit i'm not enjoying sex whilst pregnant, it's just so uncomfortable. Never mind, if it keeps the men happy...

MollyBloomYes · 08/12/2015 13:18

Feathered Thanks

Growth scan in hour and a bit. Bump suddenly shot off the scale. Depending on scan they might do a repeat gtt. They'll have to get a wiggle on, I'm 37 weeks today! By the time they've made a decision I could be past early delivery slot anyway!

oneyorkshirepud · 08/12/2015 13:22

Ppfft, surely your DF can, ahem, keep himself happy for the forsee able Jelly? What was Country's brilliant phrase... subsistence farming?! Grin Or can you get creative so it is more comfortable? I have no more specific advice having given up on dtd completely in the last few weeks, it's just too weird!

Ooh yes you have new house stuff to do Jelly, that's ace! Do you have much decorating to do or was it left in a good state for you?

Flowers Feathered, even though you have your lovely bean on the way those milestones will still be tricky. Big hug.

oneyorkshirepud · 08/12/2015 13:23

X post there Molly, did you have a mw appointment today? Hope the scan goes okay.

SecondCupOfTea · 08/12/2015 13:41

So far today I've eaten: a very large bowl of porridge for breakfast; a rather large homemade fruit smoothie for elevensies; and a lunch consisting of 3 ham and cheese sandwiches, a bag of wotsits, a yogurt, an apple, and a decent sized piece of walnut cake. I still have four bourbon biscuits for this afternoon, and then my dinner.

At this rate, I think I may be give birth to a hamper Hmm

Can anyone outdo me? I can't help but feel hungry all the time!

oneyorkshirepud · 08/12/2015 13:51

Ha ha no Tea I cannot out do you there, that is very impressive!! Some days I do feel like I could eat for England though, I think it must be baby having a growth spurt. That's my excuse anyway.

jellypi3 · 08/12/2015 14:15

molly hope the scan goes ok, let us know!!

pud it was in a good enough state when we moved in decoration wise, but my grandad was a painter and decorator for 40 years and can't not decorate, so he's doing up each room. the only one i care about is the baby's room!

DP reckons he doesn't "polish the purple helmet", so i'm sure me suggesting it would go down well. I've said to him to get some condoms so I can still assist without actually having the sex, but he hasn't so far!

tea that's a good effort. I just had a footlong subway....

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 08/12/2015 15:02

jelly - I'm a bit confused - why on earth would you need condoms for a hand job??? (if that's what you were referring to!) Surely a waste of money?

second - I can't remember how far along you are, but I'm guessing the second trimester if you can still fit all that lot in? I can just about manage a normal sized meal without feeling uncomfortably full and sick at the moment.

Saw the midwife this morning - my cervix check shows me at 25% effaced ("so it should be quite a while yet"), but she could feel his head pressing against the cervix. They all seem surprised at that for some reason. We have travel plans next week, so it was nice to get confirmation that they had no problems with us leaving Lyon in the immediate future!

jellypi3 · 08/12/2015 15:06

gouda it'd be a bit, erm, messy wouldn't it? Yeah that's what I was referring to (I'm not big on the whole cock sucking thing), i guess tissues might suffice?

Do you get internals as standard during AN checkups then?

FeatheredTail · 08/12/2015 15:25

Wetting myself laughing at Tea giving birth to a hamper of delicious food and the Gouda and Jelly confusion over a condommy hand job.

Ta for the hugs.

Molly how did the scan go?

oneyorkshirepud · 08/12/2015 15:30

Lol Jelly I am loving your non-messy standards, genuinely! Grin

Absolute winner moving in with a painter/decorator too, brilliant!

They are poking you in the foof already Gouda?! I am hoping to put that off for as long as possible!
