Just wanted to find out if anyone else is due around January the 19th ☺ and what's going on with their pregnancy ☺ x

I don't know why I thought I'd got away with it but found some stretchmarks this morning at bottom of bump Sad I'd been religiously moisturising too, there's no escape!

I thought my stretch marks at first was indents from my clothes till I notice they didn't go back to normal haha.

I think with stretch marks you are either going to get them or you're not - I'm a believer that no amount of moisturiser will prevent them appearing, but will help reduce the severity of their appearance. I got stretched marks during puberty and was super slim and not due to any rapid or extreme weight gain - it was kind of inevitable I would get them in pregnancy, but I was really disappointed when they did appear. For the next year I will be moisturising in the hope the colour will fade into silvery lines Hmm

Keep getting sharp cervix pain-anyone else had this?? Kind of takes my breath away a bit. Midwife friend thinks it's probs softening of cervix.
The runs continue too.
Having like two showers a day as I swear pregnancy makes you smell more. Envy
It's gorgeous being pregnant. Grin

annelieandbetsy I've certainly noticed I smell different now to pre - pregnancy.... or my smell senses have changed. .. somethings changed!
Re:stretch marks, l take my glasses off when changing. .. DH daren't too polite to point out any stretch marks, I continue to live in ignorant bliss!

I keep getting them. my mw told me it's the baby engaging but they're getting worse as each day comes and constant going to the toilet.

I keep getting twinges like I have an upset stomach when I don't and a sharp pain but it's not a shooting one it's just in one place.

anneli I've had some of the shooting pains, they tend to be at their worst if I'm trying to come downstairs! I've put it down to baby's head putting pressure on my cervix too. It's interesting what you said about smell too, the other day I was rushing around a bit and later on wondered what that weird strong smell was, it was ms!!

Nousername it must be the hormones but I'm dead paranoid that I stink ha. I've had enough now - the Fanny pains the worst
& the swelling. Anyone had any more labour signs ?? All my friends are taking bets on when I'll go in to labour Hmm I'll still be here in February. Just made a pineapple smoothie and trying to have regular sex but feel like a massive upturned turtle which makes the whole experience less enjoyable. Ha.

due date tomorrow and all I'm getting is this weird pain by the public bone that slowly goes down into my groin to inside legs. Oh and when LO does move it feels like he's pushing his way out haha

due today and no sign of little one. getting frustrated now haha. DP keeps talking to bump to try and get him out but no luck :(

I'm due a few days after you on Wednesday and I feel nothing - nada! Not even twinges - the pains I was having a few days ago have disappeared Sad Am VERY restless now.

I was cramping up loads last night and thought this is it he's coming....nope died down once I was about to pick up the phone to the hospital.

I keep feeling him pushing down but that's only every 30 mins if not longer. I told him he needs to come out as I'm fed up with all the calls and texts asking if he's here or am I in hospital or any pains. it's like I won't tell them

Bit of cramping here and there but nothing of note... I'm fed up now, baby can come now, please! Sleepless night paranoid about Movements.

In other news, arrived home to find an Amazon parcel outside. Couldn't remember ordering anything but had been playing on tablet yesterday and in baby brain /dozing state may have hit the buy now button. Checked account, nope.
Opened parcel - a changing bag, just like the ones I'd been looking at (I was going to wing it if I hadn't got one when baby arrived!), but no note, gift message or invoice.... Double checked mum hadn't done it.... Nope... Checked all emails to see if anyone had been in contact (DH aunt had mentioned about getting one, about 6 weeks ago buy hadn't been in contact since) nope.
Finally thought well I wonder if amazon will tell me. They traced the parcel but won't tell me, they have emailed the sender to say I don't know it was them who sent it.... So now it's a waiting game to see if they own up to be thanked! (but glad it wasnt accidental order!)

I'd love to come home to a parcel like that. I just come home to a messy house when I leave DP alone for 5 mins :)

been having a lot of tightening what feels really uncomfortable so going to try the hot curry and bath to see if I can get the LO out. I'll do anything to get him now.

I had some tightenings yesterday for about two hours and they were painful, but I figured they were Brax hicks.. And they died down.. Today nothing. Baby very wriggly! Only in my 37th week and already wanting bubba to get here!

I've been having lowing back ache this afternoon and mild period type pain on and off, but nothing haven't felt before. Someone else must go into labour soon to remind us that we aren't going to be pregnant forever ha

Mystery solved, DH aunt (who was my prime suspect) but didn't realise it wouldn't say who from unless gift message left!
Still impressed tho, it was just what I was looking for (I wanted a multiway strap that didn't look odd as a backpack or as a messenger bag) apparently MIL helped, bit still impressed they know me so well!

Got my first braxton hicks yesterday, and today I've had them for 5 hours and counting now! Trying not to get excited...

I am beginning to wonder if there is ever an end to pregnancy!
Although cuddles with a 3 week old tells me this baby will come out some way or other, I feel ill be waiting forever!

Just had a text from a friend/acquaintance asking to stay over next Monday as in area...they weren't aware of pregnancy let alone the current timing... If I knew when baby was coming it would be fine, but I'm thinking childbirth is stressful enough without having to make sure someone can get into the house, coz sods law is that if baby hasn't come on DH birthday then it will be that day!

Just say you can't if possible - although easier said than done, could make something up about house being bomb site etc and full of baby stuff...
The baby will come - I keep (wishful thinking) symptom spotting. Am only 37+6 though, last baby came at 41+6 so I potentially have 4 weeks left of this aghh! I just feel so huge and uncomfortable come on baby!!
