vitalite · 10/12/2015 15:36

another one still waiting on scan here. Going next wed when I'll be 13 + 1. Can't wait, can't help worrying. Still feeling crappy with nausea, got prescribed some cyclizine this morn.

Eastend2015 · 10/12/2015 16:18

I hope all goes well for you. Waiting/ worrying is crap!! Now my mind is at rest (for now anyway!) I've been more productive this afternoon than I've been in ages!

bikingintherain · 10/12/2015 16:43

divergent I know you've been worse than me, but I was really bad week12, but now am halfway through 14 and am so much better. I've even been able to come off the mess. Fingers crossed you'll see a big improvement over the next few weeks.

Lovelybeano · 10/12/2015 16:46

Felt really sick today, don't know if its extra worry on top of MS!!

carrie1008 · 10/12/2015 16:59

Had another scan today after another heavy bleed...baby is absolutely fine and cooking along nicely. We got a bonus scan photo too which means I was able to surprise my auntie by popping a copy into her birthday card with a note saying " your birthday present hasn't arrived yet - so here's a photo instead!!" she should get it on Saturday so that'll be one excited phone call to look out for!!

LouLou030783 · 10/12/2015 17:09

Congrats on all the beautiful scan photos! And WOW Obsessed!!!! Grin Does anyone know if bonjella is safe, Ive got a mouth ulcer. I did ask in the chemist and the lady said it was fine, as I wasn't going to be absorbing it???? Erm I'm pretty sure I will be I'm putting it in my mouth!!! In other news I will be 14 weeks tomorrow! Good luck to the last few waiting for scans, I wonder if there will be any more double surprises?? xx

MollieRos · 10/12/2015 17:52

This thread is so lovely at the moment, with all the exciting scans! Though in between more difficult news and all of us still feeling pukey!

Felt dreadful again today, topped off with a visit to the dentist to have a filling, eurgh. My lovely dentist is also pregnant- I went about 4 months ago and I thought she was maybe showing a tiny bit... there was no mistaking her huge bump today! So we compared notes and commiserated on how grim morning sickness is Grin

clarish84 · 10/12/2015 18:18

Aww obsessed amazing news I'm a mum of twin girls nearly 6 and it's been one of the best experiences of my life ypur gonna love it x

I can't wait for next week got a 3d scan booked to find out sex . We was gonna do a big reveal we was pregnant at Christmas but because I had to go hospital at the beginning we had to tell people so they could watch our other children. But where planning on finding out fingers crossed so we can make a Christmas card to our parents if there getting a pink or blue . It's my dh first child and his parents first grandchild so I'm looking forward to it x Grin

iamdivergent · 10/12/2015 18:24

Thanks biking fingers crossed!

Billi77 · 10/12/2015 18:27

Me too with horrible cold. Started on Sunday and thought would be a light one. Have been lying on sofa all day feeling miserable with day off. Had flu jab at around 5 weeks so hope it stays as an awful cold.
Anyone have scan on 18th? Had a scan at 8 weeks and saw a bean but very nervous still having had MMC in June ..

kezod · 10/12/2015 18:47

its at 11.20 on Tue magic! Can't come quick enough!

Congrats everyone on beautiful scan pictures!

Lovelybeano · 10/12/2015 19:03

Eeekkk rose hi due date buddy!! Although you'll probably beat me because I was late with dd & ds, I'm under consultant care this time so I'm not sure how that will affect the actual birth and how long they'll let me go over so you never know I may be on time this time!! aww I'm so excited now!! Oh has told me I can have anything I want for tea to celebrate, I still feel quite ill, but I don't want to burst his bubble - I'm trying to think of the plainest takeaway that I can pick heehee

Elliecherry · 10/12/2015 19:22

Everything looked well on the scan today, such a relief!
She moved me back to 11 weeks though :/ at least The baby looks happy :)

TattedPixie · 10/12/2015 19:55

Carrie I'm doing that with my mum. She knows I'm pregnant and told me not to get her anything for Christmas, so I'm putting a scan picture in her card saying "Merry Christmas Nana"

jellybelly85 · 10/12/2015 20:25

Searching for tips on early maternity clothes!! Been searching everywhere and realised it's almost impossible to find any maternity wear in shops - online is best.

Tried on normal size 12 in Next to check my sizing (was snug but fine).. but when I tried on maternity size 12 - blooming massive, falling off my hips and just not working! Do I need size 10? Am I too early?!

I don't have much of a bump - more of a bloat - but getting pretty uncomfortable in normal clothes... any recommendations for first time pregnancy?

Belvedere · 10/12/2015 21:17

Jelly most maternity stuff is for when you have a half/full bump. If you can attach an elastic to your normal jeans or wear some looser tops I'd do that for as long as you can. You'll only need to buy twice. Your mat jeans should be the same size as your normal jeans :)
