Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 40th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 39th grads fred is HERE.

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Haha pud! The poor guy bet he didn't know what to do! Jealous of your half term but ive only got 12 working days left before my mat leave starts so I'll be a lady of leisure soon! for a bit

Jcandy · 21/10/2015 17:43

Glad everything was ok jelly always better to get checked out though. I think it's actually a surprise how much you need to eat. Little and often is the way!

jellypi3 · 21/10/2015 17:46

Yeh I'd also been in meetings solidly from 9 till 12 today at work which doesn't help. The midwife said take a chocolate bar in and if anyone says anything tell them to stuff it.

I liked her.

pretzelpieces · 21/10/2015 17:51

Glad everything is OK jelly

Pud hahaha I bet you did the best grin. Hooray for half term. DP is off for half term from Friday (it's his birthday today as well) and we are visiting his folks and then he'll be moving in eek. Bye bye to my bachelor pad, no more strippers and cocaine parties for me.

Cross post! Jelly that midwife sounds very sensible.

NFMPAC (pain au chocolat) - polished off the last of the 4 this afternoon. No regrets.

jellypi3 · 21/10/2015 18:01

pret will you have to give up the pain au chocolat when he moves in? If so I'd LTB.

pretzelpieces · 21/10/2015 18:26

jelly hell no, no man comes between me and my pain au chocolat Grin

I posted my spare Stork to Just. Embarrassing at post office... "What's inside, for security reasons?" "Erm Blush a conception aid... Blush"

jellypi3 · 21/10/2015 18:48

Haha that's brilliant honey, if not a tad embarrassing lol!

Good news pret are you excited to be living together

pretzelpieces · 21/10/2015 19:11

Hahaha honey!

jelly yeah it'll be nice. We've lived together before but I still think it'll take a little adjusting to again. This place has only ever been my flat so will have to get my head around that.

fruitlovingmonkey · 21/10/2015 19:46

Haha Honey
Glad everything is ok Jelly, great advice from your midwife there.
Hope you got your goodies in the end pud. What have you got planned for half term?
Ooh Pret you're going to live with a boy! Wink
Nfmh (house): take away pizza, pjs and Back to the Future. Life is good.

SecondCupOfTea · 21/10/2015 19:47

Hurrah! Thursdayhas leapfrogged me and I've dropped down to 17th Grin.

I'm impressed at the supermarket 'embarrass the sales assistant' rage.

ThursdayLastWeek · 21/10/2015 20:30

Thank you for sorting my stats Tea BrewCake

oneyorkshirepud · 21/10/2015 21:21

Evening all. Spent a further half an hour in Asda sorting out the chuffing shopping. They agreed to deliver it to my house tomorrow but wanted to charge me £3 delivery! 3 QUID!!!! When I had just driven 45 minutes to pick up my non existent shopping! Did my unhappy face and the store manager gave me a gift card for £5 Smile. I did manage to pick up the stuff I had ordered from George for the hospital bag though. Pjs in maternity; check. Dressing gown; check... but I forgot to order this in maternity so I can only get it to fasten if I tie a bow on top of the bump! Ha ha ha, looking special!

Jelly the midwife sounds brill!

Congratulations Pretzel, that's great news! I do think you should have a sit down chat and lay down some boundaries though. I can forsee a future situation where he starts to get very comfortable and the next thing you know he thinks it is okay to eat one of the four pain au chocolates in the packet....

pretzelpieces · 21/10/2015 21:43

Haha pud no that won't do at all. Clearly I need all 4. Actually I could do with someone saving me from eating them all myself...

Just had a kind of embarrassing scare! Did a big poo and then was scared momentarily by how much blood there was in the toilet but I'm sure now it was all from my jeremies. Blush Really shook me up when I thought it was all going horribly wrong for a moment though.

oft pretz they must be uncomfortable.
V glad it's nothing more sinister.

Glad you got most of your kit pud. Just put the dressing gown in the bag, by the time you need it you'll be a lot lighter! You've reminded me that we threw out my maternity bag dressing gown a few weeks after DS was born, it sadly got nicknamed the dressing gown of death, and could summon no happy memories for us Grin

honeysucklejasmine · 21/10/2015 23:05

Was the birth not good Thursday? Sad

SecondCupOfTea · 21/10/2015 23:48

Sorry Thursday twasn't me that updated your stats, I've no idea who the secret number jiggler is, but I'll take the tea and cake anyway it'd be rude not to

LaLaLaaaa · 22/10/2015 04:53

Hi viroids! Any news on lil?

Not guilty of stats meddling! I do sometimes pop on to see how far along you all are but I don't fiddle I promise! To amend your stats you need to be on PC ('twas me who created the spreadsheet)

ThursdayLastWeek · 22/10/2015 07:03

Oh! Well that's a surprise - who is the phantom number twiddler? When will they strike again? And how can the city ever thank them?

honey it was all just rather unlucky, with a long drawn out recovery. The dressing gown just became synonymous with me looking & feeling dreadful, it was a pleasure to get rid!

honeysucklejasmine · 22/10/2015 07:04

La I've spoken to Lil. She said ms is starting to kick in. Scan is when she'll be 8 weeks, but I am not sure when. Send her a message on FB, I am sure she'll appreciate it. Smile

honeysucklejasmine · 22/10/2015 07:05

Did you have a ceremonial burning of it? Or just take great pleasure slamming the bin lid down?

ThursdayLastWeek · 22/10/2015 07:10

I think we might have given it to charity.

Great great pleasure - I'm not usually one for chucking things out until they're totally threadbare, or don't fit or something, I get waste-guilt but this was a very satisfying exception!

I shall be treating myself to another soon I suppose, fleece dressing gowns and hospitals don't mix - too hot.

FeatheredTail · 22/10/2015 08:02

Pretzel that sounds awful, you poor thing!! Can you take anything make them go away??

I had a partly great partly awful dream last night: great bit was that I gave birth to a healthy baby and the pain was totally manageable and I was declared a trooper. Bad bit was that I appeared to be completely mental and beat up my mum, was having an affair with one of DH's friends and was moving back into my old student house with the baby. Confused Poor mum.

In other news, my smugness about feeling great and non-pukey was swiftly replaced with mega-nausea to the power of 100,000,000,000 accompanied by bone aching exhaustion.

RARRRRRGHHHHH. An I have to host 3 tables at massive awards ceremony tonight/chat to everyone/network/look after a load of students. Really going to take something to pull this off without bursting into tears and going up to my hotel room at 8pm, which just isn't an option. Sad

FeatheredTail · 22/10/2015 08:03

I had to twiddle my own stats last week. I hope everyone else is updating their age as the months pass?!!!!
