Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 40th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 39th grads fred is HERE.

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

I really rate Topshop maternity. It is flattering and stylish and reasonably priced. There's a good selection on ebay. My only complaint is the maternity jeans- I have two paors of but they are under the bump and slide down a lot . I have a skinny butt and love handles so nothing to grip. Sexy Grin

Discofairypants · 07/11/2015 20:58

Haha I'm the same sky! Next used to do amazing maternity jeans with adjustable waist band but they've changed them all now.

ThursdayLastWeek · 07/11/2015 21:15

Gotta be over bump jeans. Jeggings actually I prefer.

pretzelpieces · 07/11/2015 21:26

carrot I've got this dress from New Look which I think is smart for work but it's also quite warm, thick material so it depends how hot you get at work.

oneyorkshirepud · 07/11/2015 21:51

Carrot I've been wearing dresses to work because even if the dresses aren't super smart I can wear a jacket to smarten it up.

Bad news on the maternity wear front... my mat jeans are no longer comfy, I cannot sit down in them! It's pjs or jogging bottoms from now on, waaah!

jellypi3 · 07/11/2015 22:05

pud I found this today with a pair of my mat jeans. They are skinny one so that might be why but they were painful on my belly.

Ive been watching my bump move and wriggle all night. Baby is having a party in there lll

CarrotPuff · 08/11/2015 07:32

Thanks viroids. I'll have another go at new look I think. The problem with dresses is if I wear them too often I get thrush Confused I've ordered some trousers from Next, hopefully we can pick them up today. Found a couple lovely tops on eBay, but for some reason when I go to check out, one disappears from my basket! Anyone ever had this? They are from the same seller, so I want to order them together to save on postage.

CarrotPuff · 08/11/2015 07:33

I meant I get thrush from wearing tights...

ThursdayLastWeek · 08/11/2015 08:06

Morning all - how's everyone feeling today?

5hell · 08/11/2015 08:16

Boo to thrush carrot ...hold-ups / stocking's? :)

We're about to cook a massive full English as have friends and their lovely 6 month old staying. She's v cute, especially when the dogs made her giggle :)

fruitlovingmonkey · 08/11/2015 08:33

carrot I highly recommend Falke tights, they have a breathable gusset so you don't get sweaty in them. They are pricey but I often find them in the sales and they last forever.

lildottie · 08/11/2015 10:09

Morning all.

Can't remember who said what. Boo for stupid asos though, and for thrush! This pg lark is all fun fun fun isn't it!

Nothing to report here. Time is super Dragging since 8w scan.

oneyorkshirepud · 08/11/2015 11:17

Ah Lil it does really drag to start with and then goes scarily quickly at the end. Suddenly you will be 34 weeks and you will be stressing that you are not ready and that your house is a big mess! (Or is that just me?)

So, I'm not sure if I had a contraction last night, or if I had a dream that I had a contraction, or if the baby was tugging on the umbilical cord or something... but it hurt! It hasn't happened since though so I am going to pretend that it's all fine!

NFMR(ribs) they are starting to hurt when I sit down at home now, boooo! Currently trying to sew poppies whilst lying down - tricky!

ThursdayLastWeek · 08/11/2015 11:20

Oh lil, if you think it's started to drag at 8wks you've got a long 7 months ahead of you!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 08/11/2015 11:50

lil it won't always feel like that. The tiredness makes it seem long but in your second trimester time will fly. Promise!

pretzelpieces · 08/11/2015 12:48

lil time really dragged up to 12 weeks and then as long as I was feeling really ill all the time, up until about 14, 15 weeks? It is a long time though isn't it, pregnancy. I mean 9 months is a long chunk of time in any case. I currently feel like I've been 27 weeks plus something forever!

Hello Viroids. Waves from JSers

May I cautiously join your ranks from the just shagging ladies? I say cautiously because I actually only found out I was pregnant last week so almost five weeks now. All very new and weird at the moment so I thought I'd dip my toe in to chatting to you ladies! I'm about a week behind Kate who joined you recently.

Feeling OK so far, weird boob fluctuating soreness/tingles and very, very odd dreams (woke DH up screaming in my sleep!!). Oh and a bizarre taste in my mouth, not really metallic, just weird!

Managed to slowly do a trail race this morning. Really enjoyed it as I had a valid excuse for walking up hills and enjoying the scenery)

These breathable crotch rights sound excellent Fruit! I've yet to find a pair that don't dig in at the tummy whilst falling down at the same time. I'm a fan of 2nd pair of knickers over rights to hold them up (while also wearing knickers on the usual place!)

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 08/11/2015 13:01

Welcome peenut! What is this 2 pants sorcery you speak of?! What kind of pants work best?

ThursdayLastWeek · 08/11/2015 13:07

Welcome peenut!
Well done on the running - I'm also enjoying 'letting' myself walk up hills guilt free Smile

Peenut · 08/11/2015 13:13

Thanks Thursday!

Sky I find a small lightweight inner pant then a short based outer pant works as a good combo. Prob not a great tight holding up strategy for thrush sufferers out there!

KateBeckett · 08/11/2015 13:42

Yay, glad your brain has caught up now pee Grin I have now lost the wierd taste in the mouth, but having mega morning sickness and exhaustion instead...

lil I know how you feel, I almost cried when I read that everyone here felt exhausted until at least 12 weeks, and maybe even 18... That feels like forever away right now Sad

fruit where can I purchase these tights?! They sound awesome sauce, I always have bother with tights...

I think in going to have to get some more dresses for work - my school trousers are feeling right already! (My arse seems to have expanded. A lot.)

We're just on our way home from our friends, managed not to let anything slip, but I think my friend might have an idea- we went to get a hot chocolate at Starbucks (the Xmas honey and almond one is out now!!!) and I had to get her to order mine, as the smell of coffee near the counter was making me retch. I also had a moment this morning before if eaten when I nearly puked in her kitchen. She was very polite and didn't ask though!

SecondCupOfTea · 08/11/2015 14:17

Afternoon Viroids Smile (and welcome Pee)

After my NCT Nearly New Sale expedition yesterday (paid £20 for easily £100 worth of clothes!) I'm 'relaxing' today by making Xmas cakes (one for us and one for my folks). The first one is in the oven, the second one is all measured out and ready to be mixed/simmered/zested/whatevered, and the house smells all lovely and Chistmassy. Mind you, I almost passed out at the smell of the brandy...but that's 5 months of no booze for you Grin

oneyorkshirepud · 08/11/2015 14:47

Good work on the Christmas cake Tea!

Welcome Pee, the weird dreams continue I'm afraid. I had a dream last night that I had to cough, and I coughed up a tiny ginger kitten, then a tiny black one! Ha ha they were very cute - if only giving birth to cute babies was that easy!

pretzelpieces · 08/11/2015 15:01

Welcome pee!

That all sounds lovely tea! Eee Christmas and bargains.

pud that dream made me lol! I dreamt that I was expecting triplets last night! I was very afraid and also panicking about where I'd get/fit two more cots. Confused

Welcome Pee.
Kate I think pregnant women can sniff each other out or something. I could tell straight away that my friend was upduffed.
John Lewis or House of Fraser for the tights, I always seem to find them reduced in hof at sales time, but then I like coloured tights, they probably don't reduce the black ones.
Good haul Tee, well done.
