Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 40th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 39th grads fred is HERE.

The thread we have graduated from is HERE in its 55th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread HERE for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

HERE is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

StarStar to Molly and Pretz for epic milestones. I had severe complex PTSD about 10 years ago and SSRI's caused a manic episode. You know that "may cause suicidal feelings" rare side effect from AD's? Yeah, that was me Shock. You're not alone and you're not mad either. The world is a mad place and we all just do the best we can with what we are given. I'm raising a wine glass full of cordial in your honor right now. Well done ladies!

I forget who asked but my scan is at 11ish tomorrow. Literally bursting with excitement...

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 04/11/2015 20:29

Also congrats justme!

I am a Londoner but not a commuter... I generally find a seat whenever I am on the trains but if I had to do rush hour I would probably get the badge...

JustMeAndHim · 04/11/2015 20:40

Thanks Sky! Hope all goes well for tomorrow. And Star for coming through all that, i'll join you on the wine glass full of cordial!

Could I just have a little MiL rant please? DH and I told my parents and his quite early in the pregnancy. This wasn't something that I was particularly comfortable with but the alternative was to tell a fair amount of lies about events coming up etc which I was finding quite difficult. We expressly said please don't tell anyone else. MiL has told both his sisters. His one sister lives at home so she told her and then said she felt it was unfair on the other sister so had told her too!! I'm Angry

KateBeckett · 04/11/2015 21:02

just I would be fuming!! Does she realise how annoyed you are? Brew Cake

I have books to mark, but I am going to bed. Can't think straight I'm so tired!! Fuck knows how I'm going to get through this half term...

pretzelpieces · 04/11/2015 21:56

Thanks sky, I had cptsd/bpd/eupd depending on who you ask! Hmm well done for getting through it and thanks for the raised glass Wine

justme what a shame they spoilt that for you. Very inconsiderate. I can understand you being angry.

Evening all.

thanks Gouda (about the not feeling pg thing) good to know I'm not alone!

Haven't felt "sick" the last couple of days. Did feel rough after eating dinner. Was like I'd stuffed 2peoples portions and I had no room left! Wasn't a small meal but not huge either. Need to take note of the "little and often" advice.

Thanks all for advice re scan booking. I really don't know what to expect given I've only just notified them due to being under fc until now. I guess time will tell!

Phoned fc with the qnsqns I forgot to ask yesterday! Still can't swim, still can't have sex though having seen my lil bean I'm not so bothered about the latter now! but I can do my dancing at friends hen.

pretzel and molly I'll join the others in raising a glass, though mine contains water! I had a rough time with depression years ago and its scary where your mind can take you. I was however fortunate not to suffer as badly as you guys. Dh has got some terrible stuff to deal with atm and is struggling to fight what I'm convinced is a mild bout of depression and itsso hard to watch. I guess I'm not used to being this side if it.

sky I didn't realise you had a scan too tomorrow! Gx for you and feathered, and then for Gouda too! Maybe too many for a hat trick feathered but hopefully the record so far means its a good week to have a scan in!

I obv can't compare to being further along but definitely starting to struggle with energy so standing on a tuve/train would probably end me!

gaggiagirl · 04/11/2015 22:18

Fell off the bloody thread again.
Anyway I haven't pissed myself for 10 days. I'm living the dream!!!!

JustMeAndHim · 04/11/2015 22:21

Thanks. It wasn't that she had spoilt us telling them - I was annoyed that she couldn't respect what we had asked her enough to keep her mouth shut. DH did lose his rag with her over it so she is aware that it hasn't gone down well. It's a shame as it will stop us telling her things in future. Can't tell how much the hormones are playing a part in my rage!

Gx to Feathered as well for the scan tomorrow. Hope all goes well

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 04/11/2015 23:01

gaggia I've wet myself sneezing with a full bladder 3 days running... Yo've passed me the piss torch Grin

Have just consumed a large steak with truffle balsamic for second dinner while obsessing over the Waitrose Christmas sandwich selection, trying to decide what to take woth me to hospital tomorrow.

Please someone tell me there's a 20 week growth spurt and I am not just a greedy guts?!

honeysucklejasmine · 04/11/2015 23:15

Sky I have that issue with sneezing pretty much every day. Think I may buy shares in Tena Lady.

Trying to decide whether to put anything on FB now. There's been nothing so far as I felt it was insensitive, but friends I was being sensitive to are now pregnant too! So might pop a short FYI up. I'm not one for big attention seeking statuses. Would literally be "DH and I are expecting a baby in February." But then I think if I am not going to make a big deal out of it, is there any point saying anything at all?!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 04/11/2015 23:46

honey it is nice to mention it. It doesn't have to be a big showy post but it definitely isn't something you need to avoid talking about...

gaggiagirl · 05/11/2015 04:32

sky piss torch! Grin
honey ooh yes a simple sentence will be nice. Not one of them confusing photos of tiny socks or whatever. I am easily confused though.

5hell · 05/11/2015 06:17

Well done ga ! I must admit I am trying to be quite diligent about my clenches, although no quite managing the 6 sets the tena lady app suggests Confused

Unmumsnetty hugs for pretz, mol & sky MH issues are much more common than most of us realise and being open about it helps awareness, and hopefully helps u too :)

sky I was ravenous yesterday too, so hoping it's growth spurt time (bean not me!)

oneyorkshirepud · 05/11/2015 07:15

Star for Ga! Everyone else get an app and get clenching!!

Last big event at work went well last night but couldn't really walk by the end of it - pelvis and feet were so painful after running about for 4 hours. Surprised (and pleased) that I feel okay this morning! Now just need to tie up lose ends and do handover and I'm done! 12 days and counting Grin

CarrotPuff · 05/11/2015 07:56

Justme how bloody rude! How about considering your feelings before telling anyone? Angry

lildottie · 05/11/2015 08:08

Can cats tell you're pg?

ThursdayLastWeek · 05/11/2015 08:20

I think so lil
My dog acts a bit differently around other dogs when I'm pregnant, more protective. You'd think it was sweet but he's a Staffie and people already clutch their pearls at him Grin

TriJo · 05/11/2015 09:10

Regarding all the commuter talk yesterday... middle aged man on my train very loudly and publicly embarrassed the fuck out of a young guy this morning who was pretending to be asleep in the priority seat while two pregnant ladies were standing. Justice :)

jellypi3 · 05/11/2015 10:32

Woo for justice tri haha!

honey I did a very subtle status after my 20w scan. Just "we are expecting a baby girl in january"

lil I reckon they can. Since getting upduffed my cats have been dive bombing my stomach with serious intent. Little fuckers.

Off to a wedding today!

purplewhale · 05/11/2015 10:49

Fell off the fred - sorry viroids will catch up later.

We're at my sisters in Scotland. It's definitely more stressful being away from home and trying not to wake 5 other people in the night. However in other news he only woke at 3 and 6:30 after being an arse all evening

goodnessgraciousgoudaoriginal · 05/11/2015 10:58

Good luck to everyone with their scans! Ours is imminent, and I'm hoping we can get a look at his face with one of those horrendously creepy 3d picture things.

sky and honey - I don't get the leaking afterwards, but I can definitely join your "what-the-fuck-is-this-constant-sneezing" club! I swear the noises this baby will be most used to are me sneezing and bloody car horns from the road outside Grin

trilo - Super respect to the middle aged man. I can't believe how uppity people can get about having to give up PRIORITY seats (which SPECIFICALLY SAY they are for people with mobility problems or pregnant people!). It's not a question about whether or not aforementioned person is "more tired" or "sicker" than the pregnant person!! If the train were to brake suddenly and a pregnant person to fall (or get really knocked by someone), then they could easily end up in hospital, or even lose the baby! Someone feeling "a bit ropey" would just feel a bit sore for a while.

Can you tell I get very Angry about this? Grin

Sorry to everyone feeling dog rough by the way. I hope you are all part of the majority who start to feel much better after week 15/16! I have literally no clue how people manage to commute with morning sickness. It boggles my MIND.

lil cats know everything. They probably know you are pregnant before you do! Grin

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 05/11/2015 11:52

Team Pink Flowers! Will post to FB later xx

FeatheredTail · 05/11/2015 12:13

Lovely news Sky! I know you said you had a slight preference for a boy, but just think how close/bonded all the girls in your family will be. Your dd and your dp's dd will be so over the moon at a little sister! Flowers

FeatheredTail · 05/11/2015 12:16

My old cat used to just EXUDE a mystic knowledge on, well, basically EVERYTHING. You only had to look into those little green slits to see she was in fact some kind of mind reading, all knowing, feline soothsayer.

My mum's new cat, however....sigh well. He likes to roll in poo. Enough said really, eh?

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 05/11/2015 12:40

I secretly wanted a girl too... I just wanted to be team boy so it was a bit more fair...
