Hope its nothing Rose .. Hate the waiting. Fingers crossed for you Flowers

nehagarg · 15/10/2015 14:34

Thanks Kensal .. It really is a bit horrible. My nausea seems to stem anywhere and everywhere but its not too bad yet. Just uncomfortable. I bought the acupressure wrist bands that someone suggested on this thread (sorry forgot who it was) ... Have had them on for 2 hours. So far so good. Grin

Rose2806 · 15/10/2015 14:38

thanks lex, I hope your wait gets easier and you manage to find some distractions in the meantime. I was googling everything I do, every face cream or any other product lol so in the end stopped going online and made DH do it instead!

I;m not sure if the pain has got any worse- just hurt when I coughed which it didn't before but now it's gone again and doesn't hurt when I press on it. Seems silly to go straight back to the hospital when I only just left. They said to come back if I can still feel it through paracetamol but don't really want to mask it too much so I know if it really does get a lot worse. It's quite scary :-(

Rose2806 · 15/10/2015 14:39

thanks as well nehagarg

Aposey · 15/10/2015 14:43

Hope all is well Rose, and hopefully if you say the pain has gone again then thats a good sign? Can you do something happy and distracting like watching silly films or something to make the time pass until you can find out tonight?

laughingGnomette · 15/10/2015 15:24

Hi Rose, I'm so sorry you're going through this. I had surgery to remove my left Fallopian tube in July and conceived again in September (I ovulated on the side I lost my tube too!) so it is absolutely possible. They'll take your bloods to monitor how your hgc levels are rising or falling. If it is confirmed ectopic the levels will determine how best to treat it. Sometimes it just passes away naturally. There is a drug they can give you to make it pass without surgery. Surgery is for cases where hgc levels are high. Mine were about 6000. I had dull pain on my left had side, it was only constant right at the end.
HOWEVER there is every chance that you'll be fine and this isn't ectopic, they just have to make absolutely sure. Feel free to ask any questions if you have any. I'm keeping everything crossed for you xx

tigress23 · 15/10/2015 15:28

I'm sorry, Rose, I hope it's nothing and that everything works out fine. I'm getting intermittent pains too, but I think it's slower-than-normal bowel and trapped wind.

Beano, I'm always quite bad in that respect because of IBS, so no real change for me! Do you know, they make pants with carbon filters in the bum so that you can puff to your heart's content and all the odour is absorbed by the filter! I don't think they are particularly flattering, tho, and they don't do anything about the noise...

nehagarg · 15/10/2015 15:33

Anyone else have a lack of cramps? I havent had any cramps at all for a few days. Is that normal? Sorry first pregnancy - i question everything Smile

mrsmugoo · 15/10/2015 15:36

I haven't had any cramps and I'm pretty sure I didn't get any last time. It's early days yet though - I got brutal stretching pains around 16 weeks.

MadrigalElectromotive · 15/10/2015 15:40

Sorry about your worries Rose I hope you get good news tonight. Flowers

Had my booking in appointment with a lovely mw, and I think it went well. I'm high-risk but I was expecting that because of some existing health problems I have. Am pretty dehydrated from the vomming though so could only provide the smallest dribble of pee for her. Blush Oh well.

Have got the most diabolical nausea and vomiting though - feel sick no matter what I do. Confused

Belvedere · 15/10/2015 16:00

I'm a bit crampy but nothing bad I don't think. M
Anyone who's had a c section before getting pain/stingy in their scar?

mrsmugoo · 15/10/2015 16:11

Nope, my scar is fine (for now!)

Mrspopper · 15/10/2015 16:25

Nehagarg is think cramping settling down is normal so don't worry. I still have some but not as much. Think it's the ligaments settling down maybe.... Dunno! We worry when we have symptoms, worry when they go!

nehagarg · 15/10/2015 16:28

Story of my life Mrspopper ... Thanks mrsmugoo. Reassuring to know that it isnt just me. I just end each worry by telling myself that whatever will happen, will happen. Absolutely zip I can do about it so I might as well settle down and enjoy not having to cook or clean Grin

13loki · 15/10/2015 16:35

And I'm out. Will lurk a bit to see everyone else have happy outcomes.

BiffleRoo · 15/10/2015 16:36

Belvedere I've had 3cs and never had any pain in my scar despite being HUGE at the end of pg.

Having a really rough day, can't stop vomming and feel like death with a whingy and clingy toddler.

KensalM2B · 15/10/2015 17:00

belevedere so far so good in the scar area.

BiffleRoo Have you had any advice on possible complications due to a previous c-section? I'm worried because of how close my births will be (19 months) that I will have issues...

I need to book a Dr. appointment.... haven't done that yet!

tigress23 · 15/10/2015 17:20

I'm so sorry, Loki, hopefully you'll be back on for July or August Thanks

Belvedere, this is my first, so no previous c-section, but I do have a similar scar from intestinal surgery when I was 17 and two smaller scars from hernia repair last year. They all feel normal so far.

I've managed to make it through my day at the office without any inappropriate puking. I've also discovered that the Boots pregnancy vitamins I've just purchased contain ginger to help with nausea. Will test them on myself and let you girls know.

I actually feel much better today than I have for the past while. It's worrying me

17caterpillars1mouse · 15/10/2015 17:36

Derbygirl and Jbiscuits I'm also from derby (well just outside of) :)

BabySocks · 15/10/2015 17:38

nehagarg · 15/10/2015 17:49

Oh no. So sorry loki.

tigress - I feel the same. Hence the cramps question. I havent felt as tored today and havent been nauseous either. Boobs still hurt but they havent been bad this whole time.

Lovelybeano · 15/10/2015 17:50

Sorry Loki take care xxxFlowers

tigress23 · 15/10/2015 17:52

Nehagarg I hope we're just adjusting well to our pregnant state and everything is fine! My boobs are also not as sore. Perhaps they have finished their first growth spurt and are leaving me be until they decide to go again

Lovelybeano · 15/10/2015 17:52

tigress I may have to look into those pants Wink

Mrspopper · 15/10/2015 17:52
