potkettle Fingers crossed for you! My friend bled regularly throughout both her pregnancies and was totally fine- stay positive!

Lovelybeano · 14/10/2015 15:39

magicducky I've bought the asda decaf teabags and they taste ok, I'm a tea addict too :)

MagicDucky · 14/10/2015 15:43

Oooooh thanks beano I'll give them a go!

nehagarg · 14/10/2015 16:34

I have already started developing pregnancy brain. Lost my kindle Sad .. Isn't this supposed to start about 20 weeks in? At this rate, by 20 weeks, I'll be walking into walls.

obsessedlex · 14/10/2015 16:35

Keeping everything crossed for you potkettle* xx

obsessedlex · 14/10/2015 16:39

torf
I think I do understand, thank you for a really good explanation, I think that's probably what has happened - my cycle has been a little irregular recently xxx
Just hoping for a quiet next ten long days. Love this supportive thread Smile

mrsmugoo · 14/10/2015 16:46

Lex my scan is on the 24th! Seems like ages away doesn't it?!

BiffleRoo · 14/10/2015 16:55

My hubby had to tell some of his colleagues as they are due to deploy on my EDD. They are a team of 7. Another wife is due 3 weeks before me. Found out today another wife is due a week after us ...think the boss might me changing all the chairs in the office!!!!

locomomma · 14/10/2015 17:37

I feel so late joining the party given we have a second thread already! Tested positive on Monday - due around 20 June.
Holy cow, I had an awful day. Normally never get sickness. Wound up with migraine at work this morning with aura and nausea and I'm only 4+2 or something. My youngest is 3 so it's been awhile, need to get my head in the game. Right now doesn't feel real (had 2 losses, and I've a 6 & 3 yo).

doricgirl · 14/10/2015 18:43

Can I stay? Had a scan today so I can start clexane which dated me as 7 weeks 2 days EDD 30 May! I was pretty nervous so it was amazing to see the wee sac and heartbeat!!

Slightly worried by the midwife who thought a sign of pregnancy mental health issues might be putting shoes in the fridge... Isn't that just normal for having small kids??

bikingintherain · 14/10/2015 18:46

I have felt so sick today, I've barely been functioning at all today. I was at home with DS and anything resembling good parenting fell by the way side.

I really don't remember it being this bad, but then I was thinking about it and I remember half convincing myself I was having twins last time because the morning sickness was so rough. Clearly I had forgotten.

Urrrghhh it's going to be a long first trimester.

Aposey · 14/10/2015 19:42

Hi all, can I join? Smile

Got my bfp on the 4th, and due about 12th June ish. Tricky to tell exactly as I seem to have short cycles but didn't realise that until I started ttc!

Spending so much time worrying it isn't going to actually happen, which I know isn't going to help. Started feeling sicky nearly a week ago then had two days where it went away and I was convinced that was it! Breakfast nearly came back for a second viewing this morning so weirdly relieved to be right back to morning sickness again. I know it sounds odd but its such a relief to see Im not the only one worried. Hopefully all our worries will turn out ok!

MrsSparkles · 14/10/2015 20:07

Still here, life got in the way of posting - how terrible, can't believe its thread 2 already. Symptoms still coming and going, no sickness for the last couple of days hurrah!

Went to the Rugby last week with a huge group of people so had to tell them why I wasn't drinking, but they've promised to keep it to themselves - hopefully they will.

nehagarg I still claim babybrain - my DD is now 4, although I swear its getting worse....

Derbygirl37 · 14/10/2015 20:24

Checking in on this thread (sorry I'm a bit late!) Vitalite, our EDD are very close. Mine's the 22nd! I'm still getting gripes in my stomach, the friends I've told keep reassuring me that it's normal but I still can't help worrying! I think most of it's to do with trapped wind more than anything else (which seems to be worse lately), but it still frightens me.

I'm 4 weeks + 1 day and I've really struggled at work today. I seem to ache all over and am worried that my job is too physically demanding for this early stage of pregnancy. I've also found out today that I start to feel dizzy, woozy and sick when I need to eat, even when I'm not hungry! No proper sickness yet though thankfully.

I hope everyone is ok and send love to those going through a worrying time Flowers xx

Lovelybeano · 15/10/2015 05:10

Hi aposy , aww I bet it was lovely to see that little heart beating doricgirl!!
The insomnia begins.....woke up at 3 and couldn't get back to sleep so I've decided to get up, have a cuppa then crack on with the housework before I head off to work :) , I didn't finish work until 930 last night and I've got a full day booked in today, followed by taking the kids to their dance lessons - I'm sure I'll regret getting up this early however there's nothing worse than laying in bed not being able to sleep grrrr
I think I'm going to start a major clear out this weekend and start decorating, I just keep looking round thinking I ought to get this and that done before the little one arrives. Taking it very steady though cos the symptoms are starting now, just hope I don't suffer with sickness as long as I did with ds xx
How's everyone else doing? Anyone else feel like they need to start getting on top of all the chores ?

BiffleRoo · 15/10/2015 05:41

beano I'm at the point where all the mess and clutter is driving me mental but too exhausted to do much more than moan about it.

Lovelybeano · 15/10/2015 06:17

I've been a bit tired biffleroo but not exhausted yet so hopefully, while I've still got a bit of energy, I'm going to start doing little bits, I started with ds room yesterday and it's nearly done, I'll wait till oh is at home to pull the furniture out, but all of the rooms could do with a bit of a sort through, hopefully it'll only take a week or so depending on what i find lurking is dd and my fitted wardrobes lol they'll definitely take the longest!! It's hard to fit it all round work, kids clubs and general day to day chores. I hope the exhaustion eases off for you soon xxx

BiffleRoo · 15/10/2015 06:23

Know the feeling beano this is #4 for me and I never stop. I'm constantly tidying up after everyone else and running them around here, there and everywhere so never get time for a deep clean. I've given up on DD1's bedroom - she's 12 and it's now referred to as 'the snake pit'!

BabySocks · 15/10/2015 07:29

Good morning all, was out last night so just skim read. .. wish my pregnancy moved as fast as this thread! Hope you ate feeling OK obsessedlex must be really hard waiting, remember you are still pregnant today :) I am finding it hard.

Am 6 weeks today, a friend announced she was 10 weeks yesterday and she was all happy. I am really pleased for her but then thought, oh no if mine goes wrong then I will always be comparing to her. .. I really am a harbinger of doom! Hopefully we will both have loverly calm pregnancies.

Off to reread and check anything I missed, welcome all the new gang- this bus must be getting pretty full now! !

BabySocks · 15/10/2015 07:30

(Full in a good way! ! :) )

tigress23 · 15/10/2015 07:44

Morning everyone! First day in the office for me since I found out... Wish me luck and that I don't throw up anywhere inappropriate!

obsessedlex · 15/10/2015 07:49

Thanks babysocks I need to stop obsessing (hence the name!) and just try to focus on something/anything else otherwise at the very least I'm going to pee Mr obsessed off!! And I'm sure the stress I'm causing myself isn't great for a hopefully growing baby anyway! Any tips?
tigress good luck with the no sick mission!! Xx

BiffleRoo · 15/10/2015 07:55

I don't want to adult today. I'm exhausted and feel so sick. Sorry for the moan.

jbiscuits · 15/10/2015 08:01

Morning everyone!

I've had a rough few days with a horrible cold on top of everything else, so am absolutely shattered. Definitely not getting on top of all the housework and chores!

doric even before I had DS I used to do things like put the flour in the fridge and the milk in the cupboard after cooking. It's gone down hill from there!

A bit late but waves at derbygirl . I'm in Derby too Smile

tigress23 · 15/10/2015 08:02

Thanks, obsessed!

I'm not sure how to eliminate the worry, but I worry too and my best friend said something I found helpful: people are born every day and statistically there are more chances of it going right than not. Xx
