Brilliant news Snowflake ... Look at those teeny little legs. Very happy that you have peace of mind Smile

That's a fab scan snowflake you must be feeling a bit more reassured.

Symptom wise today still with the sore boobs, mouth keeps filling with saliva and feeling nauseous but not being sick, feeling really irritable too and my work trousers are tight too which is causing me grief!

carrie1008 · 26/10/2015 16:50

Congratulations Snowflake what brilliant news! x

Try not to panic Mrsunsure brown discharge is a sign of old blood, possibly from implantation. My Dr told me previously that bleeding or cramping in early pregnancy is not unusual. If you have both and it becomes worse or doesn't ease off then call your dr back rather than wait for them to call you x

nehagarg · 26/10/2015 17:12

Mrsunsure ... Brown is old blood. I have had that and gone on to have a scan showing a healthy heartbeat. Harder done than said bur I wouldnt worry unless it turns into torrents of red with pain. If you have access to an EPU, maybe ask for a scan for some reassurance?

PrincessPunzie · 26/10/2015 17:25

Great scan pic snowflake!

Mrsunsure I had some brown bleeding the weekend before last, at about 6.4 as well. I rang 111 (as it was the weekend) and ended up with a referral to the EPU and a scan that showed all was well and the baby had a heartbeat. They will take any amount of blood, no matter the colour, seriously so don't feel bad about asking for a scan. It really put my mind at rest.

Stripes1983 · 26/10/2015 17:27

Great news snowflake , I'm having a bad day, started off ok & then just after lunch went really tired, dizzy, and felt nauseous since - almost dribbled too when I yawned! I was having a really good day yesterday too! Agree with you all about the eating thing , I have about an hour after I've eaten when I'm not feeling sick, I'm mainly wanting bread and oranges !

Lovelybeano · 26/10/2015 17:28

Congratulations snowflake!!!

Belleboo23 · 26/10/2015 17:29

Made my first midwife appointment today 11th November :) I will be 8 and a half weeks glad it's sorted now

mrsmugoo · 26/10/2015 17:37

To reassure those on symptoms - first time around I went the entire 1st trimester without knowing I was pregnant. This time everything was healthy as of 2 days ago and other then tiredness and constant hunger I have no other symptoms! No sore boobs or any of that malarkey yet- it's fine to feel fine (enjoy it while you can!)

Ugh I still feel really nauseous, it's been the same all day no matter what I eat :-( need to be up at 5am tomorrow to travel to an all day course and won't be home till 9 or 10pm. Really not looking forward to it! will be packing a load of random snacks so need to try and not look too weird constantly munching on stuff!!

Rose2806 · 26/10/2015 18:56

And snowflake that's a lovely scan, very exciting!

HarleyQuinn90 · 26/10/2015 20:31

I've got an early reassurance scan booked for next Tuesday Smile can't wait!

Weepants143 · 26/10/2015 20:48

Aw snowflake great scan pic! That's made me feel all excited Grin

I don't have many symptoms either, and didn't last pregnancy either. Mind you I'm still early compared to some of you so maybe the morning sickness is in the post! Haven't had any cravings yet either...

Hayley is the early scan a private one? I'm so tempted to book one!!! 12 weeks seems so far away, got my appointment today and it's December 14th - so far away!

iamdivergent · 26/10/2015 21:26

I think mine will be around then too weepants but I've not even got a mw appt yet as the Dr has to refer you. Seeing Dr Thursday first thing though so fingers crossed we can get the ball rolling soon! Tomorrow I'll have known for a week and what a long week it has felt, does anyone else feel like that? This first trimester is going to drag!

My dsis is 16wks ahead of me, she is having a dd Smile so all being well I'll be an aunt and a mummy within 4mths.

Weepants143 · 26/10/2015 21:43

You are not wrong about it dragging... I've only known since Friday haha! Fingers crossed doctor sorts you out with a booking and scan appointment then you can start a wee countdown! I remember with my DS I had to go to the Dr first, but in Glasgow it seems now you ring midwives direct.

Does anybody else have an almost two year old/toddler as well? I'm getting way ahead of myself and looking at buggies - can't decide if I'll need a double or not. My DS likes walking but does get tired! Any advice would be appreciated xx

HarleyQuinn90 · 26/10/2015 22:22

Wee pants yes it's a private one, I just really need to see the little bean to make it real!
Don't worry I'm already looking at buggies too Blush maybe you could get a buggy board for 2 year old? Or a sling for baby and have toddler in a stroller? It's completely up to you if you think you'd be better off getting a double go for it. I got one with my second as there was a 14 month age gap between 1 and 2, there's 18 months between 2 and 3 so when I took them all out on a longish walk id have 1 and 2 in the double and 3 in the baby carrier, looking back I think it was a good thing I had them all young don't think I could do that now Blush

Billi77 · 26/10/2015 23:51

Hello, may I join? Due date 26th june. 5 weeks with no symptoms. Should probably count myself lucky!

iamdivergent · 27/10/2015 06:46

Welcome billi Smile

mrsmugoo · 27/10/2015 07:05

My DS will be 2.3 when this one arrives and I would really like to avoid getting a double. Trouble is, he's flipping hopeless at walking from A to B without asking to be picked up every 5 seconds. Guess I've got 7 months to get him practising!!

mrsmugoo · 27/10/2015 07:07

Cool scan pic Snowflake! Mine was literally a blob. On screen it looked a bit like a prawn.

mrslewis2015 · 27/10/2015 07:18

Woke up this morning with a seriously painful ear, it's been sore for a few days but this is something else! I've never had an ear infection before, anyone else had them? Don't know what I can do to help myself! Feeling pretty low today.
