I feel so bloated, I honestly could pass as 6 months preggers if I relax and let it all hang out!!!
Tum is pretty flat in the morning, so weird!!

Osirus · 25/10/2015 00:44

Hi miracles. My seven week scan is on Tuesday! I'm very nervous and after going through the treatment, I'm scared they'll be nothing there or it's not viable. I'm sure everyone feels this way though.

Best of luck with your scan in November Flowers

obsessed1 · 25/10/2015 07:12

Osiris, I know how you feel. It's so scary, fingers crossed for you. Will be thinking of you Tuesday. How far along are you?xx

I have been feeling pretty terrible this weekend, with a combination of tiredness and sickness. I went to nandos last night feeling ravenous. But when I got there just about all I could stomach were my chips and I couldn't bear to even look at the chicken (very unlike me, as I do love my food), and just sat there feeling so tired poor huBby had to rush his dinner to get me home to bed (it was only 7.30!!!!).

Then in the middle of the night woke up feeling feverish, sore thought, sick to the stomach. Has anyone else had this? I thought, oh perhaps the tiredness was just the beginning of a cold, but now this morning I feel normal-ish... Very strange!!

obsessed1 · 25/10/2015 07:13

Sorry osirus, just looked at ur msg again, you said week 7!! Xxx

BiffleRoo · 25/10/2015 08:01

Day started stupidly early thanks yo DS and the clock chafe. DH has gone out and I can't stop being sick. Hate feeling like this.

Lovelybeano · 25/10/2015 08:18

6 weeks today yay!! Feels like forever since I found out and it's only been 2 weeks lol!!! This next 6 weeks are going to drag, plus my oh is away most of the week on my week 12 so we'lol probably have to wait till I'm 13 weeks which seems like ages away xx

Lovelybeano · 25/10/2015 08:19

'We'll' silly predictive text xx

carrie1008 · 25/10/2015 08:22

Oh no Jo hope you feel better soon.

I know how you feel Obsessed I dragged myself out of bed at 10.30 yesterday, needed a nap at 2, and went to bed at 8.30!!

Torfhinn · 25/10/2015 08:34

Crikey biffle, I'm sorry you are having such a crap time. I wish i could do something to help, but feel free to come and offload on us whenever you need too!

BiffleRoo · 25/10/2015 08:35

Thanks torfhinn hopefully I can convince DS to nap soon and go with him.

Belleboo23 · 25/10/2015 08:38

I know what you mean lovelybeano I was 6 weeks yesterday and the scan feels forever away. I'm resisting booking an early one because I'd like to get a 4d one later on because we have never done that before. Had a dizzy spell today got up too quick to let the dog back in and blacked out for a few seconds and felt light headed, glad I'd read on here it's happening to others or think I'd have panicked xx

Lovelybeano · 25/10/2015 08:52

Hope you're ok belleboo maybe have a word with the midwife if it keeps happening, I keep losing my balance, I had low bp and anaemia with both of mine so I've got a feeling when I have bloods done I'll be back on the iron tablets xx

bikingintherain · 25/10/2015 08:54

Oh biffle, I'm sorry you are being so unwell. I really think this first trimester is so hard. There's so much going on and feeling so unwell without much help/sympathy from people in real life.

We have DC's godmother staying with us this weekend, and GP's last weekend, so the number of people who know are growing rapidly. In staying with us doesn't take a genius to work it out.

We haven't told the DC's yet, but DH really wants to tell our DD (she's 5), because shes really struggling to understand why mummy is ill so much. She's a bit of a worrier and DH think it's will help her. But I'm really keen to wait until after the scan because I think if something happens it will be so much harder to understand for her. Does anyone else have any experience with this.

Belleboo23 · 25/10/2015 09:11

I know I'll have to say once the sickness kicks in both mine are worriers plus I'll have to tell my parents at that point incase I need help with the school run in the mornings! Also I work at my dd's school so may have to tell them once she knows - not the best secret keeper!! Just holding off as long as possible really, like you say incase anything happens. How far ahead do people book their first midwife appointment I haven't called yet doctor told me to go at 8 weeks ish but website says 10 weeks xx

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 25/10/2015 09:30

Round here the information tells you to ring up the midwife service and book your appointments as soon as you find out you are pregnant Belle. I've got an appointment for the 8 week mark.

iamdivergent · 25/10/2015 09:46

I'm not telling my dds until after the scan if I can help it. I'm still early on and 6.5 was just seems like forever away! Feeling normal this morning but slept really badly again last night, my boobs were in agony.

I'm wondering when I'm going to have to tell work as I work in a high risk environment Confused I'd rather wait again til after scan but it's likely that I will have to tell them before.

bikingintherain · 25/10/2015 09:54

I tend to agree, I have a 9 week scan (I'm 7+4) so we can at least wait until then.

Belleboo I think every area is different. I would just call up and try and book in and see what they say.

HarleyQuinn90 · 25/10/2015 09:58

I'll be around 7 and a half weeks when I have my booking in appointment, I rang the doctors the day after I found out Blush

Aposey · 25/10/2015 10:15

I had my first Drs appt a few days after I found out but tbh the Dr seemed a bit clueless, I think he'd had a rough day! I realised last week he hadn't told me how to make the booking appointment so on Friday I had a long phone call with the Drs receptionist who was fab but had to spend ages finding out what I need to do. I was starting to wonder if every pregnant woman has to do this at our surgery, or if noone round here gets pregnant?!

In the end they said the midwife would call me later next week, so fingers crossed that I will be able to get an appointment in the next couple of weeks Smile

I was really looking forward to the extra hour last night, but couldnt sleep because of horrible stomach ache. Confused I really hope it is just stretching and changes happening in there, and not that something is going wrong, especially after all that fuss getting the appointment!

Lovelybeano · 25/10/2015 10:15

Last time my booking in appt was at 6 weeks, this time they said 8 weeks but I couldn't get an appointment so I'll be just over 10 weeks when I go, I would call and try and book in advance just in case there's no appointments xx

Stripes1983 · 25/10/2015 10:51

I called when I found in and was told the midwife doesn't see you until 10 weeks so seemee like ages until then , only 2 more weeks now though and paying for an early scan next week

bikingintherain · 25/10/2015 10:57

Aposey my GP's receptionist was utterly clueless, surely we're not the first pregnant people in our areas?!

Dh and godmother have taken DC out this morning, and I had great plans of geting up and making myself look something half decent. But the reality is I've spent all morning bed.

I've just had to order new bras, I've gone up a backsize and I think 1 to 2 cup sizes. My boobs are constantly falling out my bra and it looks terrible!!

SliceofLemon · 25/10/2015 11:43

I am also 6 weeks today lovelybeano, feels like a bit of a milestone!

Also getting what I think is round ligament pain MagicDucky when I move too quickly or sometimes when I sneeze.

Worst symptom at the moment is excruciating boobs especially at night and in the morning. Massively improved by wearing sports bra to bed last night! Think I have a little bit of nausea intermittently but not too bad.

HarleyQuinn90 · 25/10/2015 11:50

Sports bra you say?
adds to shopping list

SliceofLemon · 25/10/2015 12:08

Yes HarleyQuinn I can highly recommend a nice soft, snug sports bra! (Not one with digging in bra-type straps) Smile
