Haha news for the first timers - you NEVER stop worrying! 2nd trimester you worry about abnormalities, 3rd trimester you worry about preterm labour, after birth you worry about feeding and weight gain etc etc!

obsessedlex · 21/10/2015 19:02

I don't remember worrying at all last time! But then I don't remember much of anything about it at all - maybe I just blocked it out Hmm

bikingintherain · 21/10/2015 19:36

obsessed I'm pretty sure I've blocked stuff out, it's why it's taken me 3 years each time between DC! But it is also delightful, and I'm sure I've also forgotten a lot of the good stuff too!

And congratulations to the ladies who are, how shall I say it.... feeling a little more flushed out. Grin

tigress23 · 21/10/2015 19:54

I feel pregnant again, which is nice. I have nausea in the afternoons and evenings now instead of the morning and afternoon. I should be getting an early scan, though. Because while I wasn't feeling pregnant, I went to my GP and had a little freak out. I feel bad because my symptoms have returned, but not bad enough to say no to the scan appointment when it comes!

tigress23 · 21/10/2015 19:54

I'm sorry, lilygirl, I hope it isn't what you think x

SliceofLemon · 21/10/2015 20:10

emma we're not exactly sure but near Buckingham so quite far away from High Wycombe!

I also got cramps around 4-5 weeks. Have eased off a bit now but still every now and then!

Lovelybeano · 21/10/2015 20:53

Congratulations on your bowel movement snowflake lol

Snowflake16 · 21/10/2015 21:29

Thanks lovelybeano the down side now is it may be days before I go again.

mrslewis2015 · 21/10/2015 22:01

Thanks obsessedlex for your message, I think if it continues I might just go and see the doctor, I know it's normal to have cramps but it's making me feel very worried!

I hope your scan goes well, fingers crossed the wait will be over nice and quick! Let us know how it goes!

mrsmugoo hehe! And so our journey begins, what a magical worry we are in for!

Violet88 · 22/10/2015 06:35

The morning sickness has arrived yay!! No actual sick yet but all day nausea day and night, and sore boobs!! Glad to finally be feeling pregnant, not glad to have my 1.5 hr each way commute today, hope I don't actually be sick!!

Lily so sorry to hear your news, maybe just a phonecall to clarify with EPU that you don't need to come in? They might suggest waiting a while and a scan? xx

iamdivergent · 22/10/2015 08:18

My boobs feel like bricks today, up twice through the night to pee but thankfully feeling no nausea so far. I have had hg both previous pregnancies so I am expecting it again, hoping to see the Dr prior to it starting to try and get some tablets as where I work I don't have fast access to a toilet!

Rose2806 · 22/10/2015 08:35

Sliceoflemon I got my clearblue 3+ today as well! Yay!

Rose2806 · 22/10/2015 08:35

Lily hope you are ok xxx

cheshirem2b · 22/10/2015 09:01

Hurray! My DD slept through for the first time in about 7 weeks! She went to bed at 7.30 and woke at 6am! I feel almost human again this morning apart from the fact that I keep getting waves of nausea and feel ridiculously bloated! Ah well!

BiffleRoo · 22/10/2015 10:32

cheshire DS did too!!!! Shame I couldn't blooming sleep lol

Lovelybeano · 22/10/2015 11:01

For the first time this morning I couldn't eat my breakfast bleurgh I have just manage a small cake, not the most healthy but at least I can take my vitamins now, hope everyone is doing ok today xx

obsessedlex · 22/10/2015 11:53

Hi ladies.
Just a quick question about which pregnancy vitamins you are all taking....
I'm about to run out of the pregnacare plus ones where you get the vits and the omega 3 capsules and I've found them a bit of a struggle to take as they are huge! Anyone found any smaller ones?

jbiscuits · 22/10/2015 12:06

Just about caught up. Sorry I've not been posting very much, have felt really miserable the last few days (probably hormones!) and not really up for posting.

On the bright side my nausea seems to have eased, which is either a) because I had a cold last week making me feel worse, b) the ginger in my pregnancy cuts is starting to help, or c) means I should be worrying. Desperately clinging to a and b (and the smell of bread is still making me gag so that's something).

obsessedlex I'm taking boots own brand vitamins, but they're even bigger than I remember the pregnacare ones being, which I took last time.

Sorry to hear your news lily Flowers

Lovelybeano · 22/10/2015 12:09

I have the asda pregnancy ones with the omega 3 oil and they seem to be ok xx

obsessedlex · 22/10/2015 14:01

Crazy alert!!!!

This sounds bonkers and I'm sure I'll wish I never said it but....... Hooray I'm feeling nauseous!! Second scan tomorrow, I'd been worrying after my last inconclusive one that my symptoms were fading so this makes me very happy GrinConfusedHmm

As you were.......

obsessedlex · 22/10/2015 14:02

Ah - and thanks biscuits and beano I'll have a look at those vits Wink

tigress23 · 22/10/2015 15:18

ObsessedLex, I'm also taking the Boots ones. I felt more comfortable with them because they have 10mg of Zinc rather than the higher dose in the Pregnacare ones because I heard that you should only have a maximum of 11-13 mg when pregnant. I also liked that they have ginger in them.

And I don't think you're mad because you're happy your nausea is back. I'm overjoyed mine is too!

Rose2806 · 22/10/2015 16:15

I like the boots ones. They are solid and not capsules, don't know if that makes it better or worse?

People taking omega 3- what dose is in the pregnacare one? I have some separate supplements but the dose seemed quite high when I looked it up online (not at home at the mo so can't say exactly what it is) so I got scared and now only take it sometimes in addition to the boots ones!!

Torfhinn · 22/10/2015 16:40

Sorry to hear your news lily. Take care of yourself Flowers

I know the feeling cheshire, ds has just started sleeping through again after another round of teething!

I feel ropey and have had a headache these last 2 days... had them for 2 months last time so a bit wary that it is starting again Shock

On a positive note, i found my maternity jeans - soooo comfy Grin

Fx for the scan tomorrow lex

mrsmugoo · 22/10/2015 16:55

Been to London on the train today for work and so now I'm shattered!!! Felt low level nauseous all day, nothing major just an underlying feeling of yuck.

Looking forward to picking my DS up from nursery and having a cuddle in a bit. Missed him terribly today for some reason. Normally I'm glad of some time off at work haha!
