MrsLewis, my IBS is 'better' in the fact that I don't go to the loo as often as I usually do, but I actually feel like this is worse because I've had IBD and IBS since I was 6 and my intestine isn't used to this slower transit, so I'm getting a lot of pain. Sorry for the TMI everyone!

Lucille you are finding out the sex at 10 weeks? How?!!?

Well, this was a short stay for me, heavy, bright red, clot filled bleeding when I just went to the toilet.

You can find out sex with the harmony screening - my friends are doing this too. I'm not sure we can stretch to it after all the money we've already paid for private treatment so far!

Rose - the booking appointment is quite long and boring so I don't think DP will be going.

Beano not sure there is any point in contacting them given how early it is. I figure I will sit this through, but if I don't get a BFN after a week or so I will go and see them then

Lilygirl I'm going to check eBay out I got some lovely vest tops on sale from new look online I had 5 for £20 and 2 jeans from the next sale. It's worth taking advantage of the sales that are on xx

That is reassuring rose that we are similarly lacking symptoms! Took another clear blue today and was relieved to see the weeks have gone up to 3+ so that's it for tracking progress now until scan!

lilygirl did you go to your mw appointment still? You still need checking over luv, if you are miscarrying although it's really horrendous and emotional they'll need to make sure everything comes away because it can lead to infections and make you quite poorly if it doesn't take care of yourself xxx

Thank you all. I thought given how early it was that they would just send me away and let it happen. I cancelled the appointment with the midwife, but I will call the epu and see what they think.

rifka we did NCT with DD1 and made a good group of friends and found it interesting but I have heard mixed results from others. We won't do it again but found it useful first time around.
Feeling very bloated yesterday and today - my work suit feels tight! Cannot wait to get home and put my joggers on!

tigress23 well that's good! I hope mine gets better too! I've had a terrible day of cramping (or is it low down wind!) been worried all day, but hopefully it's just something normal and linked to my IBS!

Anyone else had quite servere cramping in their 4th week?

I did mrslewis, if in week 5 and a little in week 6. It's mostly stopped now though. But if this thread shows anything it's that we're all different!

mrslewis I had terrible cramping for around 8 days, was convinced af was coming. It's still niggle but not half as bad and only short spurts now.

Thank you, such a relief just know a few people had/have the same... Feel more worried about this pregnancy than I ever thought I would! Was so sure id be all cool calm and collected, but just feel very unsure! I guess this is what motherhood is like! Haha

mrslewis2015 - yep, I had some pretty bad cramps at 4 & 5 weeks. They seem to have eased off now thankfully

I'm the same. Trying not to get too excited but my sister is 20wks and she is mega excited that were pregnant together so to hard not to get caught up in it all. She is the only person we are telling until after the 12wks scan

Lovelybeano I share your joy, I went to the toliet for the first time in 3 days.

Finally got my appointment through for my 12 week scan today, I was so excited when I saw it sat on the doormat I nearly fell over when going to pick it. 4 weeks today we'll finally get to see our little baby!

mrslewis I've had really bad cramping over the last couple of weeks so much so that it caused me to go to EPU as I was so worried. It's eased a bit now and I'm going back for my second scan on Friday to check that things have moved on from my emergency scan last Wednesday when they only saw the gestational sac and said that it looked more like 5 weeks rather than the 6.5 that my lmp dated me as. Super nervous already and 2 days to wait still grrrrrrr!
