Frenchsmallfry · 30/11/2006 13:51

Ohhhhh, now everybody knows mine and dh's names.

MKG · 30/11/2006 14:34

Hey everyone!

Well my nephew is going to be fine. Apparently his reflux irritated and inflamed his throat which is why he was bleeding, and my sister just has to give him his medication and he'll be fine.

Been feeling good today, mainly because I've been living off of mint tea and cheerios. Oh well.

Frenchsmallfry · 30/11/2006 14:46

Thats good news MKG. Mint tea? Now mint Ice cream I can do, yumm but Mint tea?

MKG · 30/11/2006 14:50

Mint tea is soo good, especially when you don't feel good. It smells good, and tastes good.

Frenchsmallfry · 30/11/2006 15:48

Actually I can relate to the taste, maybe a bit like rinsing you tooth brush in hot water.

No I'm joking I'm sure it's lovely, will make an effort to try some.

pebblemum · 30/11/2006 16:00

Afternoon everyone.

Ive still got this bloody cold, felt really bad last night and its getting worse again as night draws in but am trying not to let it beat me. Did try to have a bit of a sleep earlier as i had a headche but ds2 came in saying that i couldnt go to sleep because it wasnt dark, he then crawled in beside me and fell asleep himself which isnt a good thing because if he naps during the day he doesnt sleep at night. It then took me ages to wake him up again.

I went into a shop today that sold lots of sweets. I came away with a bag of aniseed twists and rhubarb and custard boiled sweets. Each bag is 160g and it was 2 bags for £1 so its a lot cheaper than that website and you get more. I could have bought the whole shop but decided to do it bit by bit, will go back there in a couple of days and stock up on more I may have a sore throat but its not stopping me stuffing my face lol Even dh got in on the act and had to buy himself a 20p mix up saying he hadnt had one since he was a little boy, think he was shocked at how much they have changed, you used to get loads of sweets for your money (esp when there were 1/2p ones)i think he got about 15!

Charleymouse - hope it all went well today we're thinking of you {{hugs}}

largeginandtonic · 30/11/2006 16:32

Mint tea is lovely, if ever ive eaten too much or feel a bit crappy i reach for the mint tea. Very good for indegestion and heartburn too. Im glad you nephew is ok MKG, scare over i hope.

Pebble sorry you still have a nasty cold, hope your ok for our meet next tuesday...!

My house is all quiet, the kids father has got them all this weekend, he came with me to school and picked them up with his girlfriend (you know, the 22 year old, massive norks and legs longer than i am tall) This is the girl he was not shagging for a year before i found out (she lived in our house in the attic conversion). Anyway.....the kids like her and love going so hey ho, on my own till sunday!

Am getting my hair done tomorrow and going shopping with a friend on saturday. I just hope my bloomin teeth feel better by then, ive been on the antibiotics 24hrs now and no improvement...

twelvedaysofchristmas · 30/11/2006 16:44

Your teeth better feel better by tomorrow or you'll have to put the Krispy Kremes in the freezer!

Longs legs do not a wonderful wife and mother make and that is obviously what you are. Your ex has lost out big time.

Thanx TDOC im sure my teeth will be better by tomorrow... am soooo excited about th KK's.

She doesnt have any stretch marks either....

twelvedaysofchristmas · 30/11/2006 17:13

Well I am a bleedin' RIDE (as we say in Dublin) and I have stretch marks so who cares about them?
Honestly woman. STOP thinking about this dozy bint. Even if you're just trying to excuse the fact that you're about to eat 10 Krispy Kremes in one sitting, because, to be frank, you don't need an excuse for that. So there.

Remember in Shirley Valentine, when she goes, "Oh my God! He kissed me stretch marks!"

largeginandtonic · 30/11/2006 17:22

LOL...LOL

I used to turn the light off when i first got together with Neil....

largeginandtonic · 30/11/2006 17:24

10....>

twelvedaysofchristmas · 30/11/2006 17:27

Hello! You had 5 kids when you met him. He'd have to be a foolish man to believe there wouldn't be some evdidence y'know?

Wally.

Mind you, if you didn't have any stretch marks no doubt you would have had the light off to hide your cellulite or your knobbly knees or some other nonsense. There's no helping some people!

twelvedaysofchristmas · 30/11/2006 17:28

I pretty sure this ones a boy too, wow do we have the same list? Most people cringe at my names.

We forgive your absence as long as you come back sometimes

jessinwa · 30/11/2006 17:50

i am surprised anyone is on here right now. seems like this is usually the time when you all desert me to make tea.
lg&t, i love love love your names. oscar is one of the names we picked out too. in rl we aren't telling anyone our baby names but i guess i can reveal them here. that's not cheating, right? for a boy we like oscar, dash and archie. and for a girl we like lotta, orly and tula grey. i feel like i am breaking the rules by telling you all. there is no way i am telling dh that i spilled the beans on mn.

If it's a boy definitely Sebastian if it's a girl it was going to be Xochitl, but I've added Solana and Yesenia to the list.
