Hi Lilkel and welcome. I will have 24mths between my two. Some of the ladies who had babies on the Dec 05 thread are due again in the next week or two! So not mad at all

Dh has just plumbed in our new dishwasher. This is a big thing as we have never own one before! We had to make sure that when we chose our new house that it had room for a dishwasher full or slim (we got slim) I am so excited i cant tell you!!

Got a few xmas presents today still havent really made a dent in my list, but hoping to do that tomorrow with any luck.

MN - hope the packingis going well. Loved the email btw!

MereNoel · 03/12/2006 18:07

Right my lovelies, I'm going to say good bye now...... boo hoo but looking forward to be going back onto UK soil. Shopping yeeeeeeeeee, I'm so excited.

dh wants to pack the laptop up.

I hope you all have a really happy 2 and a bit weeks. Back on the 21st Dec. I might get a sneaky lurk at somepoint whilst we are away, sure my sisters won't mind.

Glad you liked the e-mail snowymeadow, I thought it was quite funny.

Bye Bye xxx

Wow, you go away for 48 hrs and loads of things happen. Welcome lilkel - how are you managing at the moment or are you just going to bed at the same time as DS?!
Enjoy England MereNoel - esp the fact that you can get yum chocs here - I know french chocs are meant to be good but they are a bit poncey sometime - not like good old twirls (bit of a thing this - it was creme eggs with DS1 - so much for not having a sweet tooth)
Haven't written for a while because after I picked up DS1 from nursery on Fri I went to Dr and ended up in the hospital so that they could observe DS 1 and his wheezing. He was v happy (tv above his bed, playroom etc). I wasn't because I had to sleep on crappy campbed thing beside him. Not fair when he would happily sleep in a cardboard box and he got the comfy bed but thought I would be reported to social services if I turfed him out. Wore my most pregnant looking outfit and stroked my bump a lot so did get some sympathy from nurses who bought me tea at 3am....Have just thought - note to anyone on this thread who is having their first child - this might all sound v scary but it really isn't - drs just like admitting children into hospital if they are at all iffy.

Re giving birth - you were talking about it yesterday I think. I loved it (well, most of it). I wallowed in a waterbirth pool for a lot of the time listening to music. It does hurt but a) you know it will end at some point and b) you know you do get something out of it. Maybe loved it is the wrong way to put it but it did feel so proud of myself at the end of it all - you do feel that you have joined some kind of exclusive club

must stop DS meant to be going to bed but high on e numbers after a Xmas party this afternoon.

Haven't thought of an Xmas name - will keep trying

We will be putting up tree when my mum comes up on the 11th, will prob do it on 12th, cant wait miss her soooo much,

My dd has turned into kevin the teenager, any tips on 4yr old defiance, rudness and temper much appreciated, she has become totally disrespectful - awful bloomin awful, cant even laugh about it is really upsetting me

gosh, I must be addicted. dh packed the laptop up ages ago, I sat in the lounge twiddling fingers as finally all packed and dc asleep. Cunning plan, I've signed in on Dad's PC. sad isn't it.

Lupins, I sympathise with you. ds is a pain at the moment. He is 4 just after christmas and has just become, rude, loud, naughty and very annoying. He keeps shouting at us, I don't know why as we are not yellers at all. I wonder if he has got it from kids at school. I'm trying to keep calm but I am beggining to loose patience with his rudeness. Sorry not much help to you apart from you are not alone.

lupins71 · 03/12/2006 20:23

Hi

Thanks merenoel, i get you about the volume why the need to shout all the time we try and ask her to quiet down there seems no middle ground between sulky silence (bit of pouting and face pulling thrown in) and shouting, hopefully it is just a phase

good luck i sympathise, Lisa

ps you addict lol

MereNoel · 03/12/2006 20:30

I know, ohhh the faces are a picturs. ds has even got the stomp off to a fine art at the moment.

I know there is therapy for alchol and drug addiction, someone must have a MN addiction therapy site. I need a referal.

lupins71 · 03/12/2006 20:36

Sending prescription for merenoel to get therapy for mn addiction

Lupins my DD started being really stroppy at 4ish, she is still like it...the answers just get 'smarter'. She stamps, shouts, cries at the drop of a hat and is really good at slamming her bedroom door. She is 6.....

lupins71 · 03/12/2006 22:05
