twelvedaysofchristmas · 01/12/2006 22:37

LVB&T I LOOOVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEE YOOOOOOOOO!

I got home at 9.30 and there was a big box of SWEEETIEEESS waiting for me. YAY! Oh my God, I love all this stuff. You are naughty, it must have cost a fortune!

I scoffed a Dip Dab in about 20 seconds. I ate about 3 of those every day when I was pregnant on DD. How did you know?

You're hair looks wonderful by the way. You are one sexy mama. (And I am creased up with your stories about DH. "He gets a sword." LMAO)

Hmmm... Might have a wham bar in a minute.

Don't worry about that lunchbox thingy by the way. The cost of posting is more than its worth to send back. I hope the KK's were still fresh for you. I had one today that I'd left in the paper bag and it wasn't as nice I have to say.

Gotta go. Leaving at 8.30 in the morning for Dublin and still have to whack on some St Tropez and get my stuff ready.

Night ladies. x

Oh, I like fanjo too. Makes me larf.

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 02/12/2006 00:04

largevirginbirthandtonic · 02/12/2006 00:10

Was just looking for you! Your in the wrong room, come with me

SnowyMeadow · 02/12/2006 08:35

Just couldnt help myself had to go and have a look at that blinking penny sweet shop!!! Just spent the best part of ten quid on sweets!

Trying to get as much of my xmas shopping done on line, but having big problems in deciding on what to get the male members of the family. I have done about a third of it already but its mainly the kids and ladies pressies that i have. God i hate having to decide especially as when i ask if there is anything that they might like they say 'oh anything really' I mean like that helps me!!

largevirginbirthandtonic · 02/12/2006 09:53

Morning all, just had a read on the NJ thread, it is a funny one, poor girl, seems like she's been in Labour for weeks, No show (excuse the punn) from her today yet though so maybe she IS IN LABOUR!!!!

Had a chocolate croisante (sp?) for brekkie, so you won't be alone with your sweet brekkie LVB&T. Err now, feel like crap, not sure I should have eaten it. Have a banging head ache too.

sulk sulk!

largevirginbirthandtonic · 02/12/2006 10:09

Poor you mere, you should be packing you know....

I think it's rotten that we still get headaches when prg, you should only have to suffer them after a heavy night out. It's not like we get to do that!

MereNoel · 02/12/2006 10:37

No, you are right on both accounts. I did not have a heavy night. And I should be packing. Tommorow, will do for that though. Going to put the x-mas tree up this avo. Oh I hate packing, it's bad enough for 4 of us but you must have a nightmare lvb&t. At least coming back to the UK I don't have too much to worry about, can normally buy anything I forget. IYKWIM. God, reminds me, I must get the passports out, can't buy them.

Have taken a paracetamol, started off with one, it's not working though so may have to have another.

MereNoel · 02/12/2006 10:38

Have you had any better luck adding my MSN lvbt. I re-added you yesterday so it should have sent you a contact request?

largevirginbirthandtonic · 02/12/2006 10:46

Ha Ha it worked this time, think i put in cathlix not cathalix, doh!

Your on....!

LetitShnowLetitShnowLetitShnow · 02/12/2006 11:23

(Please note the demolition twonks who were pulling down the petrol station across the road this morning at 7am will be hunted down and killed after I have said good morning to the May 07ers)

Fools...

Morning all!

I dutifully copied out all of your email addresses yesterday at work, meaning to add them to my MSN this weekend and where did I leave them? On my desk, next to the gingerbread man I had bought as a treat. Grr! Still, came home to a warm bath and chocolate fudge cake (DH is a star) so that kind of made up for the lack of gingerbread.

I'm having a lazy weekend- we're going into town this afternoon to wander around and look at all the mad shoppers (already done all of ours- have to spread the cost in earlier months or we'd bankrupt ourselves), going to watch a film and eat pizza tonight. Tomorrow we're going to put the tree up, wrap all of the presents and watch Albert Finney's Scrooge. Rare to have a weekend off together so we're making the most of it.

I'm taking bets on how long it will take me to crack and log on to the penny sweet shop, ooh I love jelly sweets....

MKG I've had dizziness problems, fainted on the bus three times, I've cracked my head open and sprained my ankle in the process. Apparently it should pass pretty soon.

Does anybody else have pets who are aware they are pregnant? We have two cats. They are sisters and have reacted completely differently to the pregnancy. Wombat insists on sitting on my bump and purring, if she can't sit on my stomach she nuzzles it and pats at it with her paw. Taqko(pronounced Tyshka- albanian name) sits about five inches from my stomach and growls or hisses at it. Do we just have weird cats?

Anyway, going on a demolition man hunt...

Happy weekends all...

MereNoel · 02/12/2006 11:32

Beanz, our cat doesn't come very near me, he is a miserable bugger, but when I was pg with ds, my sisters cat poppy, was a nightmare every time i was there, she would pad me, sit on bump, purr at it. Weird isn't it. I wonder if they can hear the heatbeat?

scootermum · 02/12/2006 11:52

Hi all,
Ah the weekend!Lovely except at inlaws.I am giving some thought to christmas name, any suggestions?
Also who was it had Dulcie on their list of girls names.I LOVE it!

Dh and I are in the midst of a huge argument about who gets to go to their work Christmas night out, (both scheduled for this Thursday), as we cant get a sitter due to the fact that we are going to two gigs as well this week, (nights out are like buses for me it seems, with three all at once, tho one is for my birthday so that one has long been in the offing).I have pointed out to him that he has been out quite a bit this year whilst i have been in with dd etc but he doesnt seem to get it really..I am livid.I dont even want to go to mine that much, but now its the principle!

hope you are all well today x

MereNoel · 02/12/2006 12:02

I'm sure 12DOC will be along later she is the jingle and name queen. Although I will have a think for you. Could you do half and half with dh, like you go for the first bit till say 10.30ish and then dh goes out for the last bit as I guesse he will be drinking and you won't. Just a thought, probably won't work because of meals or whatever.

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 02/12/2006 13:33

LetitShnowLetitShnowLetitShnow

I think my dog is aware In the beginning of September he started tearing the house up. Lately he walks better on the leash and doesn't jump up on me, he does it to everyone else.

The dog we had when I was pregnant with ds would jump on the couch put his head on my belly and listen to the heartbeat.

StarlightStarbrightSKYTVtonite · 02/12/2006 15:04

Hello all

MereNoel I have a headache today to but that is probably because we had to do DD1s homework (Yr 6) without her actually having brought the sheet home! It is done now but they are bugging me to put the tree and decs up etc and I'm not sure I can summon the strength. I'm not looking forward to it like I usually do.

We are having a chinese take away for tea though and i bought some bottles of beer so will enjoy 1 cold beer with it.

As suggested I have changed the spelling at the end of my xmas name to "tonite" and it works now!

MereNoel · 02/12/2006 18:12

BOO HOO Boo Hoo, Starlight, I can't believe you are having chinese takeaway. I think it will be one of the first evening meals we have when we get back. No such thing as a takeaway here.

and breath.....................

12 DOC hope you are having a fab time in Dublin. Hope your drinking guiness. Umm I quite like the occassional guinness.

can"t think of a name for you scooter, have been thinking all day, whilst decorating tree. SORRY

Where is everone today. Jess hasn't been around much lately, hope you are OK jess if you are lurking.
