Sorry haquoi I couldn't resist:

Glad I'm not the only one with a naughty fetus Pheonix. Felt a bit embarrassed yesterday like I'd failed my driving test or something....Blush

MaisieDotes · 25/09/2015 10:38

Congrats clara Smile

Wee shite- charming! Did the sonographer say that?

MaisieDotes · 25/09/2015 10:39

And congrats to you too Phoenix !!

clarabellski · 25/09/2015 10:45

Hi Maisie, yes they did, as well as 'toerag' and 'rascal', mostly in jest (it's how we roll in the west of Scotland) Wink

Our office is dead today due to public holiday and I have no motivation to work....May have to look on the internet at prams!

CalypsoLilt · 25/09/2015 11:05

brummie seemed to be doing okay. It's nice to see names pop up and that they are doing well hope people come back and see us now and again too.

My scan was fine, quite heavy-handed, am feeling a bit bruised but all the measurements were 'average' which is great. We're having another girl! I am really pleased about it, and DD will be thrilled, but there is a part of me that would have liked the experience of a boy, and I really loved our boys name and I am a little worried about my own terrible sister relationship being replicated/sibling rivalry. We've also already had lots of poor DH comments which makes him sad as he lost his dad and I think would have liked a son.

I am very very happy though and pleased to find out as I always take ages to process things and think I need to know for bonding, plus it will really help DD to bond as well I think.

clarabellski · 25/09/2015 12:09

Aww Hacquoi, he's waving at you!!!!

Great scan news Fox.

Think I need to check out New Look Jelly and Calypso. That dress is the sort of thing I like to wear anyway to work.

Happytimes2 · 25/09/2015 12:35

My scan was all good. And it's a boy! We were there for ages cos couldn't get the right angle to see bladder so we needed to go away for a bit and come back!

Phoenix80 · 25/09/2015 12:57

My scan pic.

Congrats on all the other scans x

Great news Happy, another for team blue. We near more girls in the house!!!

My MIL is convinced we're having a boy because of the foot size. I didn't have the heart to tell her that was because they'd zoomed in on it compared to the picture we have of the head! Anyway, my 1 year old niece is already in size 4s!

Phoenix it looks like they're trying to suck their thumb!

JessieThom · 25/09/2015 13:32

I can add two girls to the mix! :)

Both looking good and have estimated weights of 4oz each, which I think is about on track for a singleton so I'm pretty chuffed!

I must must must concentrate on work this afternoon (ARGH!) but will read back later on and hope everyone's doing well!

XingXingFox · 25/09/2015 13:54

Congrats jessie amazing!! What a lovely week of scan news!

I also need to concentrate on work...

TillITookAnArrowToTheKnee · 25/09/2015 16:26

Loving the scan news and pics!

Tonight I have DDs 7&4, DNeph 5 and DNiece almost 3. I can totally justify going to the chippy for dinner, right?! Grin

Just had an odd experience. Someone shouted my name as I was walking into me home. Turns out its Hs workmates, they're desperate for his work phone back and he's not been in touch at all, work have no clue whats going on Angry I'm really pissed off that this guy knows what I look like and who I am when I didn't have a clue who he was. I know he has a daughter who lives next door but one to me, but still, it's creeped me out and I'm even more glad I've sacked off Facebook now.

I'm off to fantasise about living in a cabin in the snowy woods in Canada.

TillITookAnArrowToTheKnee · 25/09/2015 16:27

my home workmate

Tiredoftiredness · 25/09/2015 17:48

Scan news all good here too, although baby was in such an awkward position I ended up having to have the dildo cam to get some measurements-wasn't expecting that at 20weeks!

Terrible photo as baby hiding away the whole time but here's a profile of head.

I'm team yellow still, although sure sonographer said "he's" in an awkward position...although followed it up later with saying she couldn't tell even if we had wanted to know!

RattyCatty · 25/09/2015 19:11

Great news on all happy scans!

Troika · 25/09/2015 20:39

Lots of lovely scan news Smile

Calypso I have bump envy, such a good shape! I'm not sure if mine is obvious yet or if I look fat.

Jessie sounds like good weights, are you finding a twin pregnancy much different to a singleton?

Kicks are getting much harder now, hopefully dp will feel some soon.

IslaMann · 26/09/2015 07:32

Hello all, been a little while since I checked in here! Had my 20 week scan last week, all looking good and still team yellow.
Today, for the first time I've felt definite kicks rather than those fluttering movements. So lovely to feel them.
Lovely to read everyone's scan news, there's a definite lack of team pink though. How lovely to have our first set of twins, and pink ones too!

JessieThom · 26/09/2015 08:18

Morning all! Lovely bump Calypso and what a great week for scans. I love you dress too Calypso, looks good for winter as well - I might have to have a look myself!

So far this pregnancy is quite different to my first; I think ms was a bit worse than I had with my first, but that might just be different pregnancies, rather than twin-specific. Other than that, I'm just growing a lot quicker than I did first time 'round and being seen for appointments and scans more frequently. So far so good though! ...I'm sure I won't be saying that when I'm the size of a house!

Hope you all have good weekends, we're off to support DP in a triathlon tomorrow, which means getting up at 4.30am... UGH! Today better be a restful one.

Rufus200 · 26/09/2015 08:46

Great scan news

I'm in so much pain in my hips when sleeping! It is waking me up all the time and literally feels like I'm being stabbed it hurts so much! Pillow between legs isn't helping, I think it is my weight on my lower hip that is causing the problem so is only going to get worse! Stretches in the night help a bit and once I'm up and moving the pain really reduces but as soon as I lie down the pain instantly starts again. The only pain free option is on my back but that causes the horrendous oedema in my lower legs.
On a positive my skin is looking about 50% better which means it still looks gross to strangers but is so much better then it was!

Off to spend the day painting the building site, looks like move in date has been pushed to December now (was originally July). Going to be really fun moving when I'm that big and means DH and I will hardly have any settling time before baby arrives.

haquoi123 · 26/09/2015 08:56

That didn't sound fun at all rufus. Have you tried on your back but with a pillow under one side so you're slightly tilted? That helps me a bit. i get quite a lot of hip pain at night, like cramp in my hip/butt. Or pillow in front of lower leg, with top leg crossing over, like recovery position.

I'm almost jealous that you're having twins jessie, so exciting!

Congrats isla that's a lovely picture!

I'm 21 weeks today and officially in never-done-this-before territory! I celebrated yesterday by eating quarter of a cake (eurgh bloat) and attempting to be a domestic goddess. The downside - I had two moments yesterday when i genuinely thought I was carrying my first ds. Pretty disorienting and upsetting. Need to get a name for this one, quick.
