Feel so ill after last night (no sleep at all on top of major dire-rear, anxiety roaring and nightmares) that I've not managed to get DDs to school today Sad Feeling physically and mentally awful. H will be back from work by 3pm though. DDs currently playing quietly on their LeapPads.

Remembered that I have student discount and have just ordered 1 pair of chelsea boots, 1 pair of maternity jeans, 2 vest tops, 1 tshirt, a kimono, and a floaty top from New Look for less than £70. Ordered the jeans in a 16 (currently a 14 but I'll only get bigger so may as well order a 16) I shall report back on if they are decent or not.

I have some New Look mat jeans that have been wearing for a couple of months now. They are great. Think I had them on sale? Normally 14 but bought 16 too and I'm starting to fill them better now! Probably my bum is growing due to being sat at my desk all day (and eating cake!)

We have a moses basket from my sis to start with and a cot for as soon as possible in the nursery. Probably from about 4-6 weeks as DH will be back at work after his pat leave.

I have a snuzpod which I used for DS so I'll use that again, I just need a new mattress for it. Hopefully by the time the baby outgrows it DS will be ready to move out of his cot. We'll see how we go.

Not too bad on the discharge front but I suppose I'm going to have to unveil my wonky fanjo issue at my GP appt on Monday

A Subway advert has just made me STARVING, I now need a Pastrami Melt ASAP. Fortunately I'm off to the salon tomorrow to get my nails done and my fanjo waxed so I'll be going in there after.

Folk are harping on about us needing to move house. Its 2 bed, with 2 DDs who share. In a huge room. Baby can go in there no problem, plenty of space, plus both DDs were in with me until 1 year, so potentially won't need 3 bedrooms until February 2017.

I fucking hate moving house. I was evicted from a private rent back in 2011 when DDs were 2YO & 4 months old (LL wanted to move back in) and I managed to get a council house (where I still live) and I have zero desire to go back into the massively unstable private rent, and buying will never be an option, I accepted that a long, long time ago.

If you don't need to move till don't as I am in the midst of a nervous breakdown about ours. It has been a nightmare since the start but the stress levels have definitely upped this week and I feel I'm going to explode! I've held it together all day in work but I'm meeting a removal man this evening and I can nearly predict that I'm going to cry at him as I'm going to have to get into the whole sorry mess with him! All I want is somewhere to start nesting Sad

Posey01 · 06/10/2015 16:47

Moving is so stressful isn't it :(

I've just bought a Shnuggle moses basket on ebay as apparently it lasts longer as it's fairly big...(if baby likes it of course!) The adrenaline has helped me wake up a bit at work Grin

Just catching up on the nappy talk. We've always used disposable with dd. Had huggies when she was first born and liked them but they don't sell them here anymore. I personally don't like pampers dd does big wees and they always feel slightly damp like if I'd leave her they would soak through. Tried lidl once and she got a rash wemostly stick to asda own I've found very good sainsburys are okay and if we're desperate will buy tesco but not thrilled with them.
for wipes I've found the huggies ones are difficult to get out at the beginning of a lack but then are really good the jhonsons ones which we bought a big box of before she was born on offer were rubbish! Try things out before you bulk buy.
also while recommending things muslins are absolute life savers you will use loads we found some from m&s which were a present were really good they were quite thck so more absorbant then the mothercare and babies r us we had bought
