New thread - wouldn't let me write on the last one

Help please...Has anyone else been told that there postnatal care will be undertaken by another hospital? I'm giving birth at kings but there has been changes to the midwife teams who look after women from different postal areas and as a result I have been pushed from one team to the other (they both worth at kings) saying I don't live within their caption area! Anyway, yesterday I was told that I am in the caption area to give birth at kings and receive all my antenatal care there, but I must get my postnatal care from Croydon hospital! How on earth do I go about arranging this? Obviously I will have to ring them but it's just so stupid that I'm in the caption area for one hospital, but not in their caption area for post natel care! I will have to be proactive in arranging it elsewhere at this late stage when I have other stuff to worry about (like impending birth!). Just stressful and feel let down. Sorry for rant - just wondered if anyone out there in same boat?

How confusing elvi! When did they tell you this? I haven't been told about postnatal care yet but they seem very mixed up at King's at the mo - sent me to the wrong place for my last mw appointment! Sorry I don't have any advice but could you ask your mw at your next appointment?
