Oh, strange... I posted ages ago and it doesn't seem to have worked Confused

I went for hula hoops and croissants Grin pretty random but it definitely hit the spot!

Definitely try not to worry Daphne. I was talking to my DM and she said that she had absolutely no nausea throughout carrying me, and it was a totally normally pregnancy. I think everyone is just different. I know how hard it is to remember that when we're in these first few tortuous weeks of worry though!

ICantThinkOfAUsernameH · 24/09/2015 12:32

I hope everything's okay daphne, I'm sure your just a lucky one who doesn't have nausea anymore! But could you still contact mw for reassurance ?

Bishboshbash · 24/09/2015 12:33

How is everyone getting on?
I'm feeling very bleurgh about food today. Just having some cheesy beans on toast for lunch, didn't have breakfast though as couldn't face it.
Might have to bribe ds with tv and lie on the sofa for a snooze, he was wide awake during the night again last night, urgh!
Try not to worry about the sickness Daphne its normal for it to come and go.
Glad the meds seem to have helped Grey.
Not awake enough to name check everyone but hope you are all doing ok.

ICantThinkOfAUsernameH · 24/09/2015 12:38

Oh no! Hope the beans and cheese help a little bit!
First day allowed to eat here for me and the hospital food is bleugh - just want McDonald's chicken nuggets!
Hope you get some rest bish .

Mama and Mollie im 33 also and i didn't think i was that old either, ha! Mollie your due around the same time as me, i think im due on the 27th.
One of my good friends has just sent round a watsapp group chat announcing she's pregnant and I'm fighting the urge to tell her I'm pregnant too. I wont tell her though as we've not even told family yet and don't intend to till the 12 wk scan.
The doctor has requested an early scan for me but i think I'm going to book a private one also just in case they say no. I'm not sure how I'm going to get away without being found out, as I have 4 family meals and parties coming up before 12wks and I know as soon as I turn down a drink everyone will guess as I never normally say no even if its just the one!

BeckleinDisguise · 24/09/2015 13:23

Hello everyone, I think I'm going to be bowing out Sad, scan today showed a small empty sac, no yoke or fetal pole so nowhere near what it should be at 7w. Also not yet looking like a miscarriage, I've got bloods today and Saturday and then a scan booked in 2 weeks to see if anything more is going to happen. They kept asking if I was sure if my dates, which I am. Feeling very sad but wishing you lovely lot all the best xxx

GrouchyKiwi · 24/09/2015 13:42

Oh Beckle. Flowers Take care.

Bishboshbash · 24/09/2015 13:53

ICantThinkOfAUsernameH · 24/09/2015 14:10

So sorry beckle :( Flowers

TiffanyAtBreakfast · 24/09/2015 14:11

ljjeffro, pretending to be on antibiotics for something non-serious like a mild ear infection is the secret! Gets them off your back every time.

Beckle so sorry to hear that Sad also sending Flowers and Brew

PeasinPod1 · 24/09/2015 14:26

Beckle very sorry to hear this Sad let us know how you get on?x Flowers

StormTr00per · 24/09/2015 14:27

So sorry to hear that beckle Sad

ToffeeAppleMarsBar · 24/09/2015 14:27

Oh no Beckle... Sorry to hear it's not looking good but as ODog said, praying for a miracle.

And don't worry Daphne - I'd welcome a break for nausea at the moment. It goes come and go for me too and I've only JUST started feeling sick this week really. But I'm a couple of weeks behind you I think so maybe I'll be feeling the same as you at the 8 week mark? Who knows. Don't let it get you down though. It's double-edged sword this pregnancy sickness!!

Mamama31 · 24/09/2015 14:52

Beckle I'm so sorry to hear this, I hope you have lots of comfort and support around you. Praying for a miracle also. Take care, big hugs to you x

Daphnedolittle · 24/09/2015 15:28

Thanks for all the lovely reassuring comments you lovely lot. I haven't met my midwife yet, I think I'll just wait and see, if my symptoms stop completely then I might contact one.

So sorry to hear that beckle Sad such a horrible thing to happen. I really hope you have lots of support over the next few weeks.xx

DorotheaHomeAlone · 24/09/2015 15:43

Sorry to hear this Beckle. Hope your family are taking good care of you.

ljjefro I really recommend not turning down that drink. Just have it sat in front of you and get your dp to take the occasional sip.

Bishboshbash · 24/09/2015 15:47

Just phoned and booked midwife for the 14th and an early scan on the 21st before we go to visit family so I can tell them. Seems ages away though!
I would go with Dorotheas idea Ijjefro and still get a drink and just pretend to sip it/abandon it somewhere and swap to something non alcoholic later. I don't drink anyway now so at least that won't get anyone's suspicions up!

ICantThinkOfAUsernameH · 24/09/2015 16:22

Also could have a soft drink/oj and could say there is vodka in it?

handbags88 · 24/09/2015 16:38

beckle sorry to hear this Flowers take care

Bluepigoon · 24/09/2015 16:40

Really sorry to hear that Beckle, I hope you've got someone looking after you.

I had a small amount of blood when I wiped earlier, which combined with the very few symptoms I had tailing off over a week ago has made me really worried. I called the midwife, who was lovely, and she's booked me in for a scan at the hospital this evening, so at least I'll get to find out one way or the other.

Mamama31 · 24/09/2015 17:11

Blue I hope the scan goes well, hoping it provides lots of reassurance.

ODog · 24/09/2015 17:13

Good luck for the scan blue - what great care from your AN team!

Greyhorses · 24/09/2015 17:49

So sorry Beckle, thinking of you Sad

ljjeffro · 24/09/2015 17:59

So sorry to hear that Beckle. Xx

That's my plan Dorothea, I've already had a discussion with dh and said we'll need to swap drinks on the sly. I have a family 21st at the end of October and dh won't be there so I think I'll save the antibiotics story till then as I did get very Ill once on a night out with my sister. I had a drink while on antibiotics for a root canal infection. If I tell her I've got the same thing again she might believe me. I'm going on a girls weekend to Liverpool at the beginning of November but if things go to plan (fingers crossed) I would have just had my 12wk scan, so I'll have a mixer of water with my cranberry juice on the train ride up there (which I'll keep in my girly hip flask!) and announce it that evening. God I sound like a drunkard!!
