Southy, so sorry to hear you're still having a stressful time. I hope the blood test brings up some positive news for you. Hang in there. Flowers

Mama I have needed to go more frequently than usual, and wake up very early to wee but not in the middle of the night thankfully!

Southy84 · 17/09/2015 11:15

Thank you mama &tiffany I just don't know what to do with myself, feel scared to move, go to the toilet or basically anything :( hoping these blood tests look good.

Welcome 29 congratulations :) im also off this week and next phew...

I'm also 5+4 and due 17th may tiffany although convinced I OV later so think it will be later than that.

I normally pee twice in the night mama once not long after being in bed and again at about 4/5ish.

Mamama31 · 17/09/2015 11:30

Welcome 29 and congrats! I wouldn't worry about having your booking in so early and if you had prev mc it might be reassuring to chat with midwife sooner anyway.

Thanks for the pee infor tiffany and Southy. I do get up early around 7am to go but last time I was waking around 4/5am dying to go- but I know every pregnancy is different!

We are all just so anxious and desperate for everything to be ok, I can't help analysing every symptom I have or don't have. Not healthy really is it!

PeasinPod1 · 17/09/2015 11:46

Southy thanks for reassurance, know how you're feeling too, just a horrid horrid time/stage to be at right now.

My Progesterone level was 70 and HCG 9000.

Where abouts are you? Try another hospital with a walk in EPU and ask if they will do more tests maybe 9for progesterone) if this is what you'd like? Seems every clinic/hosptial have different procedures and policies re. which test they will do and when/how...v annoying.

TiffanyAtBreakfast · 17/09/2015 11:51

Welcome 29! It's so stressful this pregnancy malarky. The worst part is we are not supposed to be stressing and should be relaxing, but how can we?

Southy84 · 17/09/2015 12:01

I know mama I was desperate to be pregnant now I'm desperate to be past this first stage.

On Saturday hcg was 1215 (4+6) and Monday it was 3824 (5+1) had another blood test yesterday so need to know what that is, but they seemed happy with my levels, I'm a bit worried as they are quite far off yours. I had progesterone done yesterday too so will find that out at the same time. Hoping my progesterone is ok. My epu have been fab they just don't do progesterone as standard tests. I'm in South west how about you?

PeasinPod1 · 17/09/2015 12:07

South mine seem insanely high and on their own don't mean much.
I'm in London.

Yours are great as they have done the right thing & tripled over the correct time- be very happy with that!

Southy84 · 17/09/2015 12:12

Thank you peas i hope they are, I just did some research and looks like "normal" hcg is very wide ranging, so no more worrying here ... For now!

Mamama31 · 17/09/2015 12:26

Southy I know I spent 2 years worrying about not getting pregnant and soon as I get pregnant I'm worrying about what could go wrong...I think the worry never ends unfortunately it just shifts from one thing to the next. Distract yourself as much as possible and stay away from google horror stories!

Southy84 · 17/09/2015 12:32

Blush I have become a Google monster.... I can't help myself it's terrible isn't it.

TiffanyAtBreakfast · 17/09/2015 12:44

Oh no Southy! Steer clear! Too many scare mongering articles out there.

Mamama31 · 17/09/2015 12:51

I agree Southy it will only add to your anxiety- read books or watch box sets, anything to distract you from what's going on. Google is not the way to go x

ToffeeAppleMarsBar · 17/09/2015 12:55

Oh no Southy so sorry to hear it's still a super stressful time for you - as others as said, we'll be here for you! Don't ever worry about airing your fears or concerns. We may not have the medical answers but we can listen, empathise and try and find things to make you feel better. All levels seem to be going in the right direction so that's GOT to be positive.

Welcome to new joiners! Nice to have a few other first time Mums on here too! What are we letting ourselves in for?!

Daphnedolittle · 17/09/2015 13:22

pinkbubbles where do you live? Smile

Daphnedolittle · 17/09/2015 13:28

Sorry to hear you are still going through a stressful time southy. Sounds like everything is still ok, just try and be positive, it's not easy.

In terms of peeing, I haven't noticed an increase at all! Maybe I don't drink enough but it hasn't made a difference to me.

Mamama31 · 17/09/2015 13:39

Daphne glad to hear that! Lol! (seriously what has become of my life asking how often people pee...)

Daphnedolittle · 17/09/2015 13:44

Haha I know what you mean!
I came home yesterday and DH was like - 'do you feel more sick today?' I said 'yeah' and he went 'well that's good isn't it!'Grin

I never thought that's a conversation I would be having!

TiffanyAtBreakfast · 17/09/2015 14:23

Haha Daphne Smile bet you never thought you'd welcome nausea!

I've been waking up every morning with a horrible tasting mouth and a dehydrated feeling as though I've got a hangover, along with some lightheadedness. Hope this is normal, my mum asked me if it could be the paint fumes from our bedroom, but we painted it two weeks ago so I thought it would be safe to sleep in by now!

Mamama31 · 17/09/2015 14:26

Daphne I'm so glad it's the same with your DH makes me feel normal lol! I said last night to DH I had a lot of nausea driving home and was in bed early as feeling quite grim and he said "good" lol! He is so relieved by any new symptoms dear love him and is welcoming my sickness.... cheers for that DH! too kind!!!

Mamama31 · 17/09/2015 14:27

Tiff nothing like an alcohol free hangover....seems so unfair that you don't even have memories (flashbacks) of a crazy night that resulted in the hangover!

Daphnedolittle · 17/09/2015 14:35

Tiff im exactly the same! I wake up and feel disgusting. Tired with a horrible taste in my mouth. Going to work reminds me of my hungover days! I think it's normal, or we are both weird Grin

TiffanyAtBreakfast · 17/09/2015 14:39

Haha yes Mama my thoughts exactly! Ooh glad I'm not the only one Daphne!

Having the afternoon slump at work now, can hardly keep my eyes open!

TiffanyAtBreakfast · 17/09/2015 14:40

That was a lot of exclamation marks... Clearly trying to make up for my lack of enthusiasm for real life right now, haha

ODog · 17/09/2015 15:07

Wow this thread is speeding along.

Welcome 29.

I'm also getting up to pee in the night and feeling hungover when I wake up until about 10.30ish. Very lightheaded too.

Can someone add me to the stats as I can't seem to do it:
27, 2nd baby, due 4th May, based in Essex. Thanks.

Bishboshbash · 17/09/2015 15:16

I always wake up for a wee anyway, think my bladder is still wrecked from ds kicking it while he was in there! Hangover feeling/lightheadedness sounds totally normal unfortunately!
The list is playing up on my phone, will have a look at it tonight on the pc and add people.
What's everyone up to today? Just went to the park with ds and it poured with rain, hiding in Starbucks now until it goes off.
