Hope all is well southy, the waiting is awful.

I feel rubbish.. like a constant bad hangover without the fun of drinking! hope everyone is having a good weekend. I'm relaxing on the sofa under a sleepy baby Smile

Bejeena · 13/09/2015 14:23

southy glad you are feeling better today, I am also a worrier. Fingers crossed all is fine to you and all the others with these initial worries.

I am a bit more relaxed now but am sure the full on sickness will kick in any day now. So far it has been bearable just odd bout of nausea but last time from 8 weeks I was as sick as a dog and no idea how I will cope with a 2 year old in tow.

Bishboshbash · 13/09/2015 14:43

I suspect there might be a lot of cbeebies involved in the first and last trimester for my 2 year old Bejeena!
Do we have a stats list anywhere that I should add myself to btw?
Hope today goes quickly and calmly for you Southy.

Daphnedolittle · 13/09/2015 15:30

Hope everything goes ok for you southy and sorry about your scare Sad

Bejeena · 13/09/2015 16:03

I am not aware of a stats list but we should probably start one off. Does anyone know how? I am a but clueless guess a Google sheet or something?

Oh and yes ceebeebies will no doubt save me, I have only just started introducing him to TV so right now he finds it a big novelty and I can get some rest. Hopefully he won't get bored with it.

Greyhorses · 13/09/2015 19:41

Hi everyone.

Currently 5+3 (rough guess!)
I have had some nausea and am still getting lots of cramping- it's gone on for two weeks now!

I'm still petrified of miscarriage and have barely slept for worrying but DP has managed to distract me with a lovely diamond ring and a wedding date to look forward too, hoping this makes the wait until my scan more managable.

Greyhorses · 13/09/2015 19:42

Southy I hope you are okay and fingers crossed for you!

Mamama31 · 13/09/2015 20:41

Awh greyhorses that's lovely! Congratulations!!! Nothing like a nice diamond to distract you ;) full marks to your dp how sweet is that!

Bishboshbash · 13/09/2015 21:34

Aww Greyhorses that's lovely, when's the wedding going to be?

Bejeena, I would offer to set up a stats list but I am useless at techy stuff!

Southy84 · 13/09/2015 22:29

Sadly today hasn't been good, I've been spotting, pinky/red only when I wipe (sorry tmi) so not much but cramps have continued and I really don't have a good feeling :( I will update you all tomorrow, thank you for all thinking of me x

Congratulations greyhorses amazing news :)

ToffeeAppleMarsBar · 14/09/2015 05:57

Just popping in to say: thinking of you LOTS today Southy. My friend had a really heavy bleed around this time of her pregnancy and baby survived. Fingers crossed for the hospital today and I'm sending all the positive thoughts I can. Love love love.

Mamama31 · 14/09/2015 06:48

Southy I hope you managed to get some sleep, I will be thinking of you today and sending lots of prayers and positive vibes. I'm so hoping it all turns out ok for you x

Greyhorses · 14/09/2015 06:56

Thank you everyone Grin we are planning to get married at the end of next month.
We can't afford a huge wedding so are just going for a small day with some family, we had always talked about wanting to skip the engagement part and just getting married so it looks like that is the plan...

Thinking of you today southy x

ODog · 14/09/2015 06:58

Good luck today southy, hope your LO is doing ok in there and just giving mummy a bit of a scare.

Congrats grey. How lovely! When do you think you will get married?

6+5 today.

Mamama31 · 14/09/2015 07:22

Greyhorses that's lovely getting married straight away, just right too :)

O Dog oh how I'd love to be 6+5!!! I'm only 5+2, it's exactly 2 weeks today until my early scan!!! Not that I'm counting down each day (minute...second...) or anything....

PinkBubbles1 · 14/09/2015 07:38

Hi everyone, can I join you? I found out just yesterday. Am due 17th May, this will be my last bubba, so looking forward to getting to know u all.

Muffin7 · 14/09/2015 07:39

Greyhorses Congratulations! That's lovely news.

Southy I hope everything goes well today, will be thinking of you.

ODog · 14/09/2015 07:39

Don't worry mamma you will probably give birth before me. DS was 10days late!

Mamama31 · 14/09/2015 08:04

Welcome and congrats pinkbubble!!

Greyhorses I don't mind that, I'm just wishing my life away until I can see everything is going ok. Maybe you won't be late this time, they say it's common to be late with your first. Although my first was born right on my due date!!!

Starryeyed1001 · 14/09/2015 08:28

Thinking of you today southy hope everything goes ok xx

Bluepigoon · 14/09/2015 08:30

Congratulations grey! That should definitely help to keep you distracted :)

Fingers crossed for you Southy, hopefully it's just a bit of a scare and not bad news.

I'm 7 weeks today. Was awake for several hours in the night with a bad stomach and now feel really sick. I'm going to be fighting the urge to have a nap under my desk all day at work!

Daphnedolittle · 14/09/2015 08:31

Fingers all crossed for you Southy. Will be thinking of you today. Such scary times I really hope everything is ok.

Congrats greyhorses Smile

odog I'm 6+5 today too, bring on the 7 week mark!

DorotheaHomeAlone · 14/09/2015 10:10

Hi all, just catching up on the thread as been in holiday without wifi (the horror!) all week. I'm now 7+3 so starting to believe this might happen. Feeling a bit nauseous but probably just need to get organised with regular snacks. That worked last time.

Is anyone else sick of the subterfuge already? I hate this bit where every evening out involves a web of lies. Can't wait another month so I can go to bed early/drink water without excuses.

southy I hope you get the best possible news today.

ODog · 14/09/2015 10:17

That's good to have a due date buddy daphne although I think it will probably change when I have the scan as my cycles have been all of the shop since I stopped BF and never really went back to normal, so no idea how accurate that will be in reality. I didn't get a bfp until a few days after I was late based on a 28day cycle so I assume they will move it back a bit.

Just spoke to the doctors again as I didn't hear anything from anyone after I rang up a couple of weeks ago to get the ball rolling. Got a totally different story this time about what needs to happen, followed by actually I'm not sure I will have to ring someone else and let you know later. It's like no one registered at that surgery had ever been pregnant! Oh well!

Southy84 · 14/09/2015 12:31

Thank you all so much for your positive thoughts and wishes they have kept me going, I've just got off the phone to the epu and good news my hcg has over doubled since Saturday, they will now offer me a scan tomorrow so going back at 1:30, I'm now terrified about the scan but feel glad the levels are doing the right thing x
