Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 37th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 36th grads fred is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 52nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

would hooyah! You already saw your blob with a hb, the odds are greatly in your favour!

Purple sounds lush. Enjoy your mat leave!

Our trip to the shops ended up not too well. I knew it was a bad idea when I could barely keep my eyes open... Anyway, DS tripped over and broke his lip. It has a very deep gash on it - I think his tooth went in when he fell over... We had to go back as my shoulder was covered in blood, not sure what passers by made out of it Hmm half his bottom lip now doubled in size, poor thing! Although he seems completely unbothered by it...

CountryGal4 · 17/08/2015 20:17

mrs a woman after my own heart. Nom Nom friiiies

honeysucklejasmine · 17/08/2015 20:34

Oh no, Carrot! Are you going to whisk him off to the doctors tomorrow?

My car seat arrived today. Exciting. Have also told friend if there was anything she was going to sell on, let me know and I'll have it off her. She's pretty excited about going to nearly new sales too, so reckon I should be good! I do need to go and buy the post-scan celebratory baby grow still.

Oh no carrot! The poor thing! I hope it's gone down by morning.

Thanks all I know you're right, it's weird, I'm not even freaking out. Just very pessamistic! I think being tired doesn't help

Toast85 · 17/08/2015 20:55

Hooray 5hell! That's great news.

Would- hope scan goes well!

Carrot- poor littlecarrot! Hope he's ok in the morning and not too bruised.

Bat- well done on the list! Maybe I should do mine tomorrow...

pretzelpieces · 17/08/2015 21:21

jelly hope you feel better soon, the sickness is dragging on isn't it Flowers

Congrats on mat leave purple! Party time! and by party I mean all day napping and procrastinating packing your hospital bag

Aw carrot poor DS.

Great news 5hell!!

Good luck for scan tomorrow would x

I am tired and cry-ey tonight after a friendship ending. It had always been complicated but I felt really invested in it emotionally. I won't go into the angsty details but suffice to say I think friendships ending can be as difficult as other relationships ending so if you need me I'll be in bed with the ben and jerrys.

WouldRatherHaveCake · 17/08/2015 22:07

pretzel I totally get you, been having the same feelings over a friendship that's imploding!

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 17/08/2015 22:10

Aw pretz that's hard. I've been through a few of those that were my fault... I was a bit of a jerk when my marriage was in the toilet. It is hard to swallow for sure.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 17/08/2015 22:24

would gx for you.

I'm fine. It turns out rash is atopic eczema. Joy.

picklethistle · 17/08/2015 22:34

Found you! Took me a while to catch up have had a busy couple of days! DH stopped being a prick and was lovely for the rest of the day. He's promised to not be so twatty when he gets stressed!
Had a lovely day with a friend and walked for miles! Really feeling it in the legs this eve. Still really don't feel pregnant and not heard anything about a booking in appointment. When did you London viroids hear?

sky you poor love itching is the worst

jelly I hope the MS is over for you soon. 10 points for your DH coming to your rescue.

Hope your scans ok would, I'm sure all will be well.

Congratulations 5hell I'm so pleased they FINALLY got round to seeing you.

Sorry to hear that pretzel have also suffered this and it is not easy. Are there many other friends involved?

I will try and add myself to your spreadsheet but I don't have a computer and am a bit IT special.

deeplybaffled · 17/08/2015 22:44

sky - you have my sympathy, I'm struggling with eczema myself, and it is infuriating! And the doctors keep suggesting really low key stuff to try, which I know won't do anything, as I've had eczema on and off for years :(
have they suggested anything useful for you?
5hell - so glad that you got reassuring news!
purple - welcome to the mat leave group. It is definitely an odd feeling, although might be different for you as you have a csection end date. I'm finding the uncertainty of not knowing when the pre baby bit of mat leave will end to be quite strange. Control freak? Me??
pretzel - have been there too, a few years ago, and it can be hard, as even if the friendship was difficult, i suppose you end up mourning what it could have been. Ice cream sounds like an excellent plan.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 17/08/2015 22:55

deeply my gp was also a dermatologist. She prescribed 1% hydrocortisone cream and reassured me it would be ok for me and minisky.

gaggiagirl · 17/08/2015 23:29

My eczema has flared up something chronic during this pregnancy. Eyelids, legs, elbows and neck. I've been using la Roche posay cicaplast and its worked a charm.

deeplybaffled · 17/08/2015 23:31

Thanks, sky - going to have to back to gp and try again, i think - the itching is driving me crazy. I swear people think i have fleas or something :(

deeplybaffled · 17/08/2015 23:33

Ooh - cross post with ga .
Can you use the la roche stuff on eyelids? That's the worst bit at the moment.

pretzelpieces · 18/08/2015 00:02

Thanks everyone. would sorry to hear you have been going through similar. pickle not really, but we have a lot of mutuals.

Sorry to itchy viroids. Thanks

SecondCupOfTea · 18/08/2015 02:12

Pickle did you refer via your GP? I'm in London too , went to GP at 5 weeks, got my letter about 10 days later and my booking appt is this Wednesday (when I'll be 10+weeks). My GP reckons those timescales are normal for the hospital I've chosen.

I can add you to the spreadsheet if you want. Details needed are username (we got that), age, what number dc this is, due date and where you live (but you said that already).

honeysucklejasmine · 18/08/2015 06:51

Morning! I think the cat reckons she is being helpful, and has started a new habit of meowing at the door at 5.30am. For about a minute, then she fucks off again. Lovely.

I have a weird patch of skin on my leg that dh is freaking out about. Gonna leave it for another week any maybe mention to mw

jellypi3 · 18/08/2015 07:43

Morning viroids.

Went out for dinner for dp's bday last night. Managed a starter and one of my ribs I had for my main then felt so bloated and sick I couldn't eat any more! Baby clearly doesn't like tgi Fridays sticky sesame chicken bites!

would good luck today. It'll be fine. You will see your baby today!! :)

Sorry those of you suffering eczema. I used to get it as a child but grew out of it thankfully.

Gx I don't chunder after this mornings train journey!

CarrotPuff · 18/08/2015 07:46

Sky, deeply, ga - you have my sympathies, I had eczema as a child and it's awful. I've heard bath with oats helps.

Sorry about the friendship Pretzel.

DS's lip is still quite swollen, so I'm going to give GP a ring once they open. He is completely not bothered by it but it just looks so awful Sad I feel like the worst parent in the world for not holding his hand properly Sad

ThursdayLast · 18/08/2015 08:00

Morning all.

would enjoy your scan! It's going to be fun! Are you planning on finding out the sex?

Poor little miniCarrot sounds exactly the kind if thing my DS would do too, and be totally undisturbed by it.

pretzel I have become hardened by motherhood into not wasting time on so-called-friends. I'm sorry you're feeling blue, but I hope you can come out the other side knowing you have one less toxic or selfish or time consuming person in your life.

And good morning to everyone!

Last night my mum friends and I went for dinner, just for grown ups and it was bloody delicious. I remembered half way through my amazing dark chocolate mousse that it's made with raw eggs - oops! I kept eating it though Grin

Today I am going to the zoo with same friends, with added toddlers.

mountaingirl01 · 18/08/2015 08:02

Carrot please don't beat yourself up- if you'd been gripping his hand he would still have stumbled and may have wrenched his shoulder (extreme I know, but my point is that sometimes these things happen and its not your fault!) If it's not bothering him, it will probably be fine, are his teeth OK? Give him some ibuprofen and very gently ice it (careful as lips burn easier that other skin) once the swelling is down you can assess the cut properly. Lots of yummy ice cream for him today! [Flowers]

picklethistle · 18/08/2015 08:02

Morning!

tea I'm 30 and this is DC number 1.

I went to the GP but I had to self refer so did that when I got home. It's been a week so il wait a bit and see if anything comes in the post.

Poor little carrot, don't feel bad carrot these things happen and if he's not too bothered I can't be that bad. It's amazing how they bounce back. My friends child was forever covered in big bumps and bruises as she is such an adventure child but never really bothered by them.

ThursdayLast · 18/08/2015 08:05

pickle down here (miles and miles away from london) the community MW gets in touch after about 8 weeks to arrange your booking in appt. how many weeks are you?
