Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 37th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 36th grads fred is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 52nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

jelly I would plan away, you are well past your scan and it's better to be organised, plus it's fun planning baby stuff!

deeply consider yourself smacked on the bum! You need to get going with the Epi no! No time to waste! Can you do twice a day to catch up? Come on lass, it'll be worth it feel free to tell me to shut up

jellypi3 · 30/08/2015 12:37

pud i just went out and bought the dream genii...omg it's so comfy! i love it! fucking cat tried to steal it but i put her in her place!

Also went to 3 baby shops with DP, so he's more interested than before. Though we disagree on the co-sleeper, I want the Snuzpod and he wants to Chicco one...

deeplybaffled · 30/08/2015 13:46

indigo - you are quite right and I need to get back on it. Now I feel slightly less like death with cold, I'll have a word with myself! Had a bit of a scare last week when pushing it out made me wet myself a bit and panic that waters had gone BlushBlushBlush but at least if it happens again, I'll know what it is!

oneyorkshirepud · 30/08/2015 13:48

Ha ha ha Jelly The cat will definitely win this battle. Mine is arriving tomorrow so glad to hear it is comfy. I also order a big piece of foam (body size) and have made a giant pillow case thing out of a super dot throw to practise yoga/daisy birthing on so I can always sleep on that if I can super desperate, I always find a hard bed better for my back.

Ooh, what is it you like better about the snuzpod? I'm watching Chiccos on ebay at the mo...

jellypi3 · 30/08/2015 15:03

i like the fact you can take the basket bit off, my plan is to take it downstairs for baby to sleep in during the day time. i don't think you can do that with the chicco can you? (i didn't look too hard to be fair). But that's kind of a deal breaker for me.

oneyorkshirepud · 30/08/2015 16:00

Ah fair enough. We have been given a moses basket so plan to use hat downstairs to begin with.

purplewhale · 30/08/2015 18:08

We've got a crib for upstairs and a Moses basket for down. Both of which we were lucky to be given. I've bought new mattresses for both.

Curtains and light fitting now up in the nursery, and 2 shelves. We didn't need 3 and I probably should have bought the smaller size but never mind.
The crib is now next to our bed which is a bit weird but I'd better get used to it.

Making the most out of being able to go out for tea and off to pizza express for a change

Just realised there are 9 days to go!!! feck

jellypi3 · 30/08/2015 18:12

9 days till baby???? that's mental purple!! are you ready?

honeysucklejasmine · 30/08/2015 18:15

Ga I ended up in Banburgh (can't spell, can I?) today. We wanted to go to farmers market in Alnwick but it was shite, only 5 stalls! So as we were up there, decided to take our lunch to the beach. I also suffer from quite severe crowd rage, so worried I would get in a fight with a terrifying northerner over how slowly they were walking.

Does anyone else get crowd rage?

Having beef roast with Yorkshire's tonight. Fucking YUM. Can't wait.

It is gutting being at the coast and not being able to eat shit tonnes of mussels, crab and prawns. So will have to go to Seahouses and get some fish and chips (drowned in vinegar, obvs) to make up for it.

9 days! Holy shit Purple!

We are going to use a Moses basket upstairs, and prob either carry it down or use carry cot from pushchair.

purplewhale · 30/08/2015 18:28

Yup 9 days til section, 8 days til hospital admission. Feeeeeck!

Jcandy · 30/08/2015 19:15

Wow purple that's not long at all now!

Pud I suffer with chronic back pain (what nurse doesnt) and was given one of the bump belts from the physio like deeply was saying. It's really helped so far. Definitely get a referral.

Anyone who is carrying moses baskets etc up and down stairs only ever do it empty! You'd be shocked at the number of babies we've had on the ward that have been dropped down the stairs when they were being carried down in a basket etc. It's just not safe even if it seems like a good idea coz you don't want to wake them!

Been to my dps 5 year old nieces birthday party today so I'm full up on party food and have my face painted with a very pretty flower Smile

ThursdayLastWeek · 30/08/2015 19:39

honey you can eat mussels crab and prawns! They just have to have been cooked, which IME they usually are Smile.

ThursdayLastWeek · 30/08/2015 19:42

Oh my gosh purple I've not been on the thread that long really, but that seems to have come around really quickly! How exciting!

jc would love to see your purdy flower Grin. Well done for getting it, all the bday parties I've been to recently half the girls have spent half the party in the queue!

All the family and close friends told now - my sister and one of my old buddies were very excited. Everyone else distinctly underwhelmed. Poor little second baby!

Jcandy · 30/08/2015 19:58

A lot of the kids didn't want their face done!! It was crazy! Here is a little photo Smile

BEAUTIFUL!

batfish · 30/08/2015 20:06

honey you can eat all the yummy seafood, I've had lots despite mr bat insisting every time that it's not allowed

OMG purple 9 days!! And I thought my 5 weeks was soon! How exciting/petrifying (delete as appropriate)

MrsTattoo · 30/08/2015 20:39

I'm too fecking exhausted and almost dead tired to remember what I just read, so hooyahs, congratulations and all that jazz to who ever needs it! Flowers Cake

I just popped by to ask someone to come and staple my mouth shut please. I have just inhaled 2 (TWO!!!) mint Cornettos! And I have only just eaten dinner too. Blush I need to start eating healthy or TinyTattoo is going to be born looking like Fat Bastard from Austin Powers Grin

Also craving tuna mayo every day for the last week or two. Odd as I have been vegetarian for 15 years so it's not even something I actually want Hmm

purplewhale · 30/08/2015 20:44

I've been eating all kinds of shellfish all along. I only eat it in restaurants that I trust though.

We've been to pizza express tonight. Making the most of eating out while we still can Smile

CarrotPuff · 30/08/2015 20:49

So much to catch up on that I mostly forgot who said what...

Tea my scan is on Thursday too, which I think you've pointed out earlier. However, I've not had any scans at all yet, so I'm getting quite anxious about the mmc. Although my boobs are really spilling out today so I have to dig out my bigger bras from last time. Anyway, gx for both of us!

Looking glad to hear you are doing better. Enjoy your holiday!

Jelly there's no right or wrong time to start planning/buying things. As long as you are comfortable with it. FWIW we bought next to nothing before I was 30 weeks with DS as we were moving to our own place from PIL's so didn't want to cram their flat and I wasn't very organised and felt extremely overwhelmed

Bat how hot is it in UAE? I would imagine just a sleepsuit will do. But yes, MWs will show you everything.

JC that's a nice flower! I never had my face painted...

I think my luck on normal poo has run out and I've been constipated for the last two days. Still can go, but my arse only produces rabbit droppings... Will have to come up with a plan!

On the farting subject... do you think OH can feel if you fart while they are spooning you in bed? For some reason I'm always full of gas when DP is spooning me!

deeplybaffled · 30/08/2015 20:51

purple - your 9 days makes me eek. Depending on whether baby chooses to pay any attention to details like due dates, it could be 0 to 16 days here. And mentally, I'm still fathoms deep in denial that I'm going to give birth to a baby and then bring it home with me. I mean, really?? Me??

purplewhale · 30/08/2015 21:23

Haha Deeply me too!
I said to DH tonight that I can't quite believe that there is going to be a real live baby here next week. It's all quite surreal!

honeysucklejasmine · 30/08/2015 21:31

Oh my gosh! Right, mussels are going down!
