Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 37th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 36th grads fred is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 52nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

And obviously he was born at term. I think he only started engaging at 38w, despite being head down all the time.

Thanks Purple, I've PMed you.

purplewhale · 25/08/2015 15:30

Jelly drink plenty of water. My headaches are often caused by dehydration

gaggiagirl · 25/08/2015 15:31

Baby is 4/5 engaged! Woop woop!

picklethistle · 25/08/2015 15:32

Yay!!!!! Just woken up for a glorious 3 hour nap and we are back! Yay!!!

deeplybaffled · 25/08/2015 15:40

Wow, ga - don't think I was engaged at all at last appt at 37+1 - baby ga is clearly very efficient!

pretzelpieces · 25/08/2015 15:42

So sorry to hear that about totally Flowers that's so sad.

pud they still change position plenty at that stage don't they? If you're worried about movement get monitored though.

I think it's so lovely how supportive everyone has been to la on facebook. We have a great group here

pretzelpieces · 25/08/2015 15:45

Somehow cross posted with about 8 people Hmm think it was the app being a pile of shite like always

That's exciting ga! Glad baby is in the right position.

oneyorkshirepud · 25/08/2015 15:56

Ah good, thanks Carrot, and lots more movement today Pretzel so not worried now. Think I just needed to get used to the movements being 'different'.

Well done baby Ga! Loved your bump growth chart! I get my first bump measurement on Thurs.

Eris has been spayed today and is now totally off her face on pain killers bless her, she is having a little party all by herself. In her head.

gaggiagirl · 25/08/2015 16:05

Baby gaggia must be impatient. No wonder walking is so difficult.
pud got another cross on my chart that looks ridiculous. Midwife reckons the charts are shit. That's as maybe but I do still have a MASSIVE uterus.

gaggiagirl · 25/08/2015 16:06

deeply not engaged yet? It usually happens in the last 2 weeks I think...i dont really know though.

deeplybaffled · 25/08/2015 16:27

Heaven alone knows. Seeing m/w on Friday and should be 39+1 then, but feels like something has changed over last couple of days and walking is definitely not as easy, especially when i get out of bed.....so maybe engaged now? All mysterious to me!

gaggiagirl · 25/08/2015 17:02

Sounds like it might be deeply!!

mountaingirl01 · 25/08/2015 17:09

Hmm. Well I was engaged but little bugger is now 'free' according to midwife today :( just spd pain making me waddle then! Feeling a bit down today, only have 2 days of work left but feel like that is forever! I'm so tired and have a horrible feeling that baby is going to be overdue - which just enhances my fear that she will be huge! Mws just dont seem bothered about her size and don't seem to understand why I am..
sorry me, me, me today

honeysucklejasmine · 25/08/2015 17:09

So, at what point do midwives start talking to you, and giving advice about babies and labour? Do they, or is that only at antenatal classes? And when do I book them?

honeysucklejasmine · 25/08/2015 17:15

Mountain you do a very difficult jobin very challenging physical circumstances. Whinge away! Flowers

CarrotPuff · 25/08/2015 17:37

My DS was only 1/5 engaged at 38+4. He was born at 40+1, and even when I was in labour he was 3-4/5 engaged. Which was a bit of PITA as I had to push quite a lot. They can drop in a day, or remain engaged for weeks. It really doesn't mean much...

Mountain why do you think baby will be big? Are you measuring ahead?

honey I would ask at your next appt, in some places you have to book quite early. But generally no, they don't. They do normally ask if you have any questions/concerns, so you can ask then. But I guess if they offer any classes they will just tell you you'll find out then. Tbh I found MN to be a greater source of information than the antenatal classes Grin

pretzelpieces · 25/08/2015 17:45

Anyone else had this? I get a headache and nausea every day starting around 5pm. Midwife doesn't know why and no pattern with when I have my meals/drinking enough water. Hmm

I'm assuming something to do with 24hr hormone cycles?

pretzelpieces · 25/08/2015 17:46

Thanks mountain, sorry you're feeling down today.

jellypi3 · 25/08/2015 19:41

honey I've already booked my nct classes

oneyorkshirepud · 25/08/2015 20:07

Honey we are not doing NCT but we have booked NHS classes for Nov (6 weeks before poppage), I was the first person to book for that month though! Also I start Daisy birthing classes in a few weeks.
